She's a great big lover
Like an Oregon bear
and I love her little uniform
my waitress

Let's go into the forest
and play
way way into the forest
let's play

and she has the prettiest face
that is what - the first thing I saw
her pretty face

sing my love
like the red birds
flying with the yellow
white and blue birds

so tender in their loving
sing my love
sing
sing my waitress
You start out carefully
Pouring into a shot glass,
Then the shot glass is
Sloshing over into the
Coffee mug: it's an
Irish Coffee Mug, "Top of the
Clan McGregor Morning, to you."
By 10 AM you're pouring
Right from the bottle,
Into an assortment of
Jelly-juice glasses:
Mimosas Are Us.
You skip brunch & lunch &
By 1:30 PM you're swigging
Directly from the liter bottle,
Wielded like a meat cleaver
In more ways than one.

.
Patches of grass spot the hill,
Interspersed are old stones
Wind blown, like bones
Buried deep in the sun.

Wildflowers are crowding
There too, scorching bloom
In desolation, windy blown,
Sacred as any high tomb.

Crows circle above, waiting
For new soiled dreams to end,
I watch them from a shy window
Cold as the hill stones, remaining.
I will make it back
to shore...

and when i do,
i will continue to survive,
i will live
and love my life;
some more.

So glad to be back! You can't possibly begin to imagine how glad I am to be back!
Missed you all!
Please re-invite me to your collections!
Do you remember
The fairy tales we spun
On those blazing summer noons
When the road tar was melting
And we bunked classes
To be under the forest flame
Shadowed from the world outside
When we thought time would be immortal
As you wiped the sweats from my forehead
And with every thread of yarn
I would grip you harder
In an effort to prevent gravity
From letting those moments fall
Into the abyss of memories.

Do your eyes still see the Prince
That never took you away
When you tell your grandkids
The fairy tales?
