There is no greater joy,
When sitting of an eve,
When light has taken leave,
Than to watch a cat with toy!

To watch them jump and pounce
To see their antics... funny!
People would pay money
Would sell cat play by the ounce!

To see them jump and run!
To see their inner kitten,
All of us are smitten,
To watch them is such fun!

Watch how they endear!
They entertain for sure,
The delight is pure,
No catnip needed here!

From baby to full grown,
They are made for teasing!
It's so very pleasing...

... for a cat to own!

Native in the hearts of your children you are.
Embedded deeply in their soil, spawning fertile seeds only to bid farewell too soon.
Your roots firmly rooted,
solidifying your solid stance. Imprinted your features in all of us, all just sketches of the you you used to be.
They tell tales of an antique casanova who once was,
a man who loved dearly for an eternity that lasted a few heartbeats.
I used to draw you in the margins of my notepad,
pretending I remembered more than your smile.
But I was fond of the man who took part in my creation,
the man whose name I carry with pride,
the man who gave me a family,
the man my mother fell for.
Words I never uttered come close to mind,
I'd mean them if I said them out loud.
But here, among bent, wilting trees you lay, forever.
We're standing on the ground reserved for souls bygone, transfusing memories of you in one beautiful picture.

We love you,
I love you

Here's to you, father.

The harder I try
All the more mistakes I make
Forgive me fam'ly

May God bless thee daughter dear
Take away thy grief
Wiping away each sad tear
Flood thee with relief

Daybreak greet thy eager eye
Hues of crimson bright
Vanishing each weary sigh
Awe thee with delight

The sweet perfume of lilacs
Drift across the air
Filled with the song of birds
Singing in the branches
Of tall strong trees
A little hollow of lilacs
Is where we held
Those beautiful tea parties
On the fresh spring ground
Petals dancing in the breeze
Little dainty tea cups
Tinkling
Little delicate sweets
Put upon beautiful plates
As we sat in the hollow of lilacs

**~Marian~
This was partly in my imagination. The rest was because I was remembering the tea parties me and my Mom used to have outside together. ~<3

Wind chimes softly sway in the warm breezes
Flowers grow in the fields with tall grass
Trees and roses bud
Water ripples and flows
Sunshine silently hits the ground
Clouds of fluffy white move across the sky
Birds sing in the tall green trees above
Springtime is here again for all
Little birdies build their nests
Daffodils and tulips waltz
Singing a song of Springtime
Watch the lilies bloom
Crocuses unfurl their petals
Crickets and katydids call
To one another on Spring Nights
Silently the Moon glides across the sky
All Night the beautiful Fairies sing
Waterfalls roar
Singing a glad anthem
Little creeks bubble and flow
'Tis a song of Spring
Sung by all

Looks like
Evil is powerful
Because it's
Ruling Mankind

Good was waiting
For our response
But we are captured
By Illusions
And going for
Earthly pleasures

Which are not
Permanent

Cicadas and katydids are calling
Breezes blow in from my open window
Roses are blooming and leaves are falling
The moon's rays hitting my lawn look like snow
Owls are singing from majestic trees
While sweet Bluebirds are sleeping in bushes
Night dances through the softly blowing breeze
And Midnight silently the world hushes
Dewdrops like jewels shine on roses sweet
And the stars twinkle all through the calm night
While the Fairies dance on enchanted feet
And the moon happily shines very bright
And I under my warm covers doth sleep
Until pretty morning brightly doth peep.

Keep them close hold them tight
with them be as long you can
love them whole day and night
life is too brief a span!

Bonds are fragile time merciless
frail is the bridging link
fleeting are moments of small happiness
go would they all in a wink!

Keep them to you as long you can
give them the all you own
fill as much this short span
love them not leave them alone!

Days wear out past comes fast
forever is a figment of solace
love them hard so long they last
treasure them in warm embrace!

The Lord your God has come to bring life not to destroy it.
He has come to give true Hope a true life for each of us.
He did not come to bring destruction  nor death to us.
But draw us to him to live fully in his Spirit, to reveal him.
So that others may have life with him as well as us.
Fear not the Lord is on our sides, all that we have to do.
Is to cry out to him in prayer , it is that simple.
Then rely on him to finish his work within us to trust him.

The tears still fall, even though it been a fear years since last we met.
I know that I was never meant, to meet you in person but I did.
Still you made a huge impact upon me, which should have never happen.
Still my thoughts race to old memories of us spending time together.
I still hope that I shall see you in Heaven, because it will not be here.
At least then we can talk about happier times that we have in heaven.
Because the last time I seen you, was very heart-breaking for me.
But I know that God will turn this into something beautiful here.
