From the skies they come,
Devout birds swirling in briars,
  .  .  .  Blackberry mandalas.

Red edging needles, pine
On blue mountain, nostrils
Of elk smoke with a bulls
Eye, scarlet stares of steely,
Steepled raven, snow drifts,
White fires in the lighted sky.

I never saw eyes,
Like hers, now we walk together,
Lake water sparkles.

I took out my heart
It fit perfectly in my ****** hand
Still beating
And craving for some love
Like a fish taken out of water
Still flapping
And craving for some oxygen
And although there is plenty in the air
It needs the oxygen from the water
Just like my heart needs the love from you

Eyes, orb as exploding stars,
Weighted light of hair rushing,
Held extremities, nimbus limbs,
Eons' spring, singularity crushing.

Empty, simple clods,
Only take, never giving,
Look at ME they pray.

Little flower tips  .  .  .
Red berries, green holly woods,
  .  .  .  Brittle as ever.

Her steps into house  .  .  .
In small rooms always the sound,
  .  .  .  The sound of leaving.

Magic unrealized  .  .  .
Man, woman interacting,
Child just loves flower.

Asleep with my love,
I wake, she is in dream— still,
Conversation runs.

Militant blue jays,
Secure area in uniform,
Splitting shells of nuts.
