I see a sunset of orangish-gold painted in the sky,
Tall majestic palm trees stand so high,
The sun is sinking in the west;
And all the world is going to sleep and rest.
The palm trees are standing on the rocky coast,
I love this place the most,
I can see for miles and miles;
And in my heart I will treasure this place as Evening Skies.

Clouds float by,
In the dark blue Night sky,
Little stars twinkle in the air;
There is beauty everywhere.
A shooting star falls from the sky in motion,
The beautiful blue waves sing a lullaby in the ocean,
The fishes under the ocean never sleep;
This place is so beautiful I could weep.
The beautiful lighthouse with its "Night light" stands tall,
A rock from the island cliff in motion doth fall,
The beautiful half crescent moon lights up the sky;
Along with the lighthouse's light way up so high.
Trees grow all around the lighthouse's guiding light,
Guiding a ship at Night,
Oh it's so beautiful here at Night;
No wonder they call the lighthouse "Night Light".

I don't know whether I'll have another poem about this one or not!!! :)
Hope you enjoy this one!! :) ~~<33

Palm trees dance and waltz
On shore the hibiscus bloom
Lullaby of waves

Lacy palm trees held the sky,
And below that ocean flowed on by,
Tiny seashells left on the cool sand;
And all around Twilight settles on all the land.

Salty breezes filled the air,
And I loved it there,
Sitting on the shore all day;
Gazing at the ocean, a million miles away.

The breezes begun a symphony,
Some sweet and nostalgic melody,
Played to the setting sun;
Our orchestra to me it seemed had just begun.

I breathed in the tranquility,
Of the ocean's harmony,
I was watching the sunset;
Where dreams and time had met.

Seated there upon the cool sand,
Lemonade in hand,
I was breathing in the its beauty;
Of a daydream in nostalgic harmony.

I don't want this moment to fade,
When the hibiscus on the shore balled,
I want to stay there forever;
I don't want this to end...ever!

Another one of my ocean poems!!
Sorry, but I couldn't help it!!
I love nature especially the ocean!!! :) ~<3
Bright blue green
The Sea is a silken cloth
Tossed around the shoulders of wealth.

Dark grey it is
A woolen charity
Scratching the shoulders of the poor.

When the color of rusted copper
It is a thick rubber mat
Rolled back at tapered
edges to reveal
The crags of earth
Thrusted up by misfortune
And sullied by time.

Like lead by moonlight
It is the pavement
We pound on,
Crumbling in some places
Smooth in others.

White hot and reflecting the sun
It is what we could be,
What we sometimes are.
The intense, pin point light.

Like glass it is
All the shades of
What we are,

If I ever had a pedal harp
You'd be the first
I'd play it to
You'd be the first
To hear me pluck
My harp strings
May your heart strings
Play the finest melody ever
And may your life always be
The most surreal orchestra
I hope you don't leave here
May the Fairies dry your tears
And wipe your pretty blue eyes
If I ever had a viola or a violin
You would be the first to hear it
And I would teach you how to play it too
But since I don't have those instruments
All I can play for you is the piano
And I admit, I am not that good at it
If I ever wished a million wishes
And all of them came true
I would share them all with you
You are the world's greatest Dad
And I love you
And so does God and all of His Angels and Fairies
I hope you awaken to bluebells kissed with dew
And fields full of blooming flowers
And red crimson sunsets
Overlooking the beautiful ocean
That I talk about in my poems
Surrounded by palm trees
And gritty sand
And sandy seashells
Breezes tasting like coconuts and salt
I hope you awaken to sunrays
Glistening on the forest floor
And shining across that sequestered path
Take my hand and walk with me
And I'll wish you the sweetest of dreams
Dancing ferns, and lacy-green palms
Waltzing Fairies, and flying birds
Adorable Flamingoes
Mossy islands
And beautiful waterfalls
Bubbling creeks
And tall, tall mountains
Like the finest patchwork quilt
Singing rills
Sparkling snowflakes
And beautiful ocean treasures
All of it I'd wish in your dreams
The song of the pedal harp lulling you to sleep
Along with the majestic songs of the double bass
I love you, Dad and always will

Dear Mr. Ocean -
I believe you waved at me?
I know this is my second letter
Please find within some thoughts
              from me to you
        from white to blue

then return in kind, won't you kindly:

... We may wish for you to always be
       a soft sea
                because soft, see
        means gently, quietly, carefully
remember -
                gentlemen wave politely
so just lull this cradled ark
           gently
                      please,
Sir, if you wish to take this further
or invite me to horizons
                  to dance

          in the near future
                              perhaps
            (one sunset sky?)
 from crests to deep
               from sand to breeze

my soft Sea - be gentlemanly...

Good tidings,
and all blessings,
current and all that come to be
return to me kindly, won't you please,
        Dearest Mr. Ocean -
You may
        Write to me.
Oh - how I love the duality of words...
Buoy do I enjoy it - haha :)

That Night by the ocean
The waves sung me a lullaby
Of palm tree silhouettes
And tropical sunsets
Of singing waves
And gritty white sand
Of lemonade sipped on the shore
Of nocturnal ukuleles singing a melody
Of sandy flip-flops left on the sand
Of little ocean seashells
And ocean treasures beneath the waves
Of hibiscus blossoms in bloom
Of tropical fruits
Of salty breezes stirring my brown hair
Of tropical Nights
And on and on their lullaby went
And hushed me to sleep*

The smell of hibiscus blooms
Fragrance the beautiful evening
From somewhere in the distance
The strings of the ukulele can be heard
Lone tropical girls dance to its beautiful melody
And I begin to play my ukulele too
And I too begin to dance
On that beautiful evening
When the sky had fallen asleep
With a faint sunset in the west
And the salty breezes blew
Across each beautiful palm tree
Such a beautiful evening I can see
Only in the silver cord
Of my mind's eye

On the waves of a dream,
I lay waiting on shore,
a cold beach this night
beneath a burdened moon
crying stardust

I sink slowly
into the wet sand…
pleading with the waters
for answers to shamed questions,
while counting the shades of violet
framing a weeping sky

Thoughts flow like the tides
on an endless journey,
weaving contours and
bends deep within
this sorrow that washes
over me

I watch as these waves slip away,
carrying hopes still lingering
and exposing the loss
I feel, fiercely
crashing before my eyes,
in opaque foam

I can not move,
my body is still,
my breath salted and tethered,
as I reach
for shadows of my memories,
only to find them…

whispering goodbye
on the breeze

The palm trees grew
All along the shore
Salty breezes blew
And stirred the lacy-green leaves
Casting shade onto the sandy shore
The tiny winds blew my brown hair
As I sat watching the waves
Singing a lullaby
To the dew-kissed Hibiscus blooms
Sandy seashells--ocean treasures
Lay here and there on the sand
Little fishes swam underneath the waves
Where the coral grew

Beautiful silhouettes of palm trees
On a silhouetted cliff
Overlooking the beautiful sunset
With the silhouettes of stars
Appearing in the silhouetted sky
Where the silhouette of a moon
Appears to lighten up
This silhouetted night
A little silhouetted cabin
Sits on a silhouetted island
Brightening up
My silhouetted forever

Hope you enjoy!!! :) ~<3
