Don't keep fussy over me
I can do that myself
no don't try to help me up
realize I can still stand

No I don't want any food
will you just please stop
and no I'm cool
I don't want anything from the shop

You are so ****** over protective
will you just let me be
just leave me to myself
so I can write some more poetry

She was sitting at her station
caring not the build up of radiation
those twenty in the gunner bay
will never see the light of another day

She knows she will get a medal for bravery
yes it will be sent by post to her mother
a posthumous thank you from fleet command
just like all the others

She means to fight to the bitter end
there are so many of the enemy
but she's fighting with her friends
writing her last goodbyes she sends

She is trying to stay in control
but tears are welling up in her eyes
she knows she will never see home again
brave little gunner girl
sending death and destruction like rain

Showing what you have got
but not showing the lot
no we don't do that
it's tantamount to being a clot

Come on fellow poets and friends
do you think this is where it ends
oh no I have a long way to go
and so do all of you

It's not the showing, it's the knowing
like if you was a child again
you must keep learning
and to the pinnacle be yearning

You have to I told her
you must have controlled thoughts
don't let your vision be blurred
by the promise of a dead heaven

Look out and be proud
take mercy with it's key
know you are one of mine
and soon we all will be free

So do not hasten to draw your sword
control your angelic thoughts
for we are now one
with our controlled thoughts

Hold fast and wait
I will give the order
and when I do
may god help you

I can't watch movie romances or sad stories
they make me cry
I'm sensitive in that way

When I see uniforcations
see people brought together
I cry, for I am sensitive that way

I am always wishing well
casting loving spells
because I'm so sensitive that way

Never want enemies
always needing friends
because I'm sensitive that way

look at his darting eyes

See the bulge at his waistline
tick tick tick soon be time
and in a packed department store

for she had that glint in her eye
I could not defy her
nor could I deny her
the glint in her eye, was such

As I walk over, change my spots
just to show my capabilities
oh this battle that never ends
see my fleet dear pretty thing
here come my love

I want to show you my vast universe
to let you know what good lords do
I am pretty in black

and to her glory, I do fight
