A few years ago I didn't know a thing,
I was opinionated, temptemental and focused all my energy wanting to be thin.

But in the new year of 2013 I found him,
He helped me grow since the fist day we met,
On our first date I wouldn't have made it round the roller rink without him.

It didn't take long to know I'd fallen for him,
His eyes, smile and deep voice are few of the things I love about him.

You can say we've been through thick and thing,
But 2016 is proving to be quite testing.

But I can't live without him,
Seriously boy you're my everything.

Since this poem has been written,
My heart has recently been broken.

I should feel like the 21 year old independent woman I am, focusing on myself,
Unfortunately once again I'm battling with my mental health.

I can only go up from here,
with university and a promising career.

But this would have only been a dream if I never met him.
