Due to society's predetermined norms
A parent is now looking at their child's casket
As they cry and mourn
Serenity once lied
In the child's bloodshot eyes
But now all you see is a captivated soul
That has finally found a final escape
Society says that its her fate
Or is that just an excuse
So that society doesn't get accused
Because this was ******.
Not suicide
Negativity came to the child in tides
She believed the pain could never subside
A brain that was once stable
Had now begun to turn tables
A once young and innocent mind
Has taken a form far from its original kind
Her body was filled with scars and marks
They grew by dozens in the dark
Terror had replaced youth
She had no one by her side
When she was alive
Everyone believed she couldn't strive
But now she's dead
Everyone is changing what they said
Words were the sword
Permanently damaging her while
causing her an internal war.

This world that we now live in
So full of ungrateful sins
From the lies
To all the pain that never subside
We never trust
Our hearts will just burst
We judge one another
Killing our own brothers
Disrespecting our own mothers
We leave others to starve
And to our skin we carve
We find cruel ways
To erase a stain
To ease the pain
But in this cruel reality
Where there's no morality
This is the only way to survive
And although our world has evolved
Our problems in humanity will never be solved
