Your fingertips reminded me of a match
For whatever they carelessly caressed
You set ablaze without even knowing it.
******&short;
its been a weird night idk idk idk
All I am is a thought,
And all I thought is now gone.
poem
I am silver glass.
I reflect what i see.
You sit and stare and i stare back, you study and I learn.
You fidget and frown and try to accomplish the impossible.
I just grin like the monster I am.
And you are blind to the battle you are fighting.

I am just here until I shatter and crack.
And you would never look back.
I am cold and unyielding, selfish and critical, for I have no soul.
I do not regret showing you imperfections, because without them, you would have no use for me.

But what makes me laugh and cackle, until my sides split, is you need me.
You look on, unaware of the danger of staring too long.

But if you knew my secret, what a terrible thing that would be.
For you look at your outward appearance, while I look in.
Past the ribbons, silk, and powder, and see something truly horrifying.
For your soul is as tarnished and broken, as my glass is polished and smooth.

If only you knew what I truly am under the surface.
You would shatter and break everyone of my kind.
For I am the perfect monstrosity.

You look and I show you what needs to be seen.
But no one will ever figure out, the secret I keep.
Because I know you, I know your soul.
And I can bring you to your knees.
Because every time you glance at me,
I trap small pieces of you in a sea of cold mercury.

So there I have told you my secret, but you are none the wiser.
You will keep looking and I will keep stealing.
Because you keep trying and hoping to be,
Perfect.
Criticism is welcomed :D

I'm loving you again.
When I see the roaches crawling,
the disgust can be hidden by fascination and understanding.
Besides,
they clean themselves after touching our skin.

I have been through things many have not and yet I still feel like nothing more than a boy walking alone down a hallway filled with people who know exactly what they want.
I think that this hallway is not meant for me and yet all the doors lead to classrooms that teach lessons proven wrong long ago.

"Come with me and I will show you something more than this, just be careful where you tread because the fire I hold does not give off much light."

I am not a broken boy by any means and I love with all of my heart.
If only I knew in which direction to send my love.
I am ******* and I want to ****.
I think this clouds my judgement and the walls around me turn into film that plays an image not yet created.

I am so confused when the world is going east when I am going west.

If you think I have forgotten you, there is a grave mistake...

A lesson I have learned is I'm a burden when I burn.
The ones I hurt stay close inside and I become a sin to hide.

Please don't run away because my bones are weary and I couldn't begin to chase.
Let me whisper something secret and that smile will pour across your face.

I hide for now, but I'm still me...
I promise.
I want to look at your face when you let your grin slip,
When you let the mischief go, and sink, serious, into your skin,
The skin you cut
The skin you hated.
I want to know what was in your head
The day you tried to die.
What of it still lingers,
Although your scars are lacy and fading,
And you glow with health
Now.
What lingers of the obsessions,
The loathing,
The pain?
I want to know
Because I want to love it out of you like venom.
Dangerous
More dangerous than you could imagine
That I want to show you love.
Perhaps I should be fighting the urge,
Burying it away
Because wanting you is safer
Than wanting to celebrate you.
But I think of what it must have been like for you
The confusion and anguish,
The hatred and the surrender,
And I want to hear every detail of your hell
So that I can help you stay away from it.
I want to steady you when you fall into fear or doubt or shame,
Because you steady me.
I want to give you something,
Is the thing.
And although I don't want to give you everything
It's probably still
A pretty dangerous thing.
Show women respect.
Everyday I see women broken down.
Broken down by the man they're with.
That's not a man.
A man is caring and considerate.
A man comforts.
I am there to show that there are men who fight.
Who fight for women.
Who show respect to women.
I am a man who shows respect.
We are everywhere.
We are a big lot.
So ladies,
Whenever you are feeling down,
One of us will be there to lift you up.
You will not know who,
But one of us will be there.
Coming from a gentle giant,
You can trust us.
I loved you in the morning, our kisses deep and warm,
your hair upon the pillow like a sleepy golden storm,
yes, many loved before us, I know that we are not new,
in city and in forest they smiled like me and you,
but now it's come to distances and both of us must try,
your eyes are soft with sorrow,
Hey, that's no way to say goodbye.
I'm not looking for another as I wander in my time,
walk me to the corner, our steps will always rhyme
you know my love goes with you as your love stays with me,
it's just the way it changes, like the shoreline and the sea,

but let's not talk of love or chains and things we can't
untie,
your eyes are soft with sorrow,
Hey, that's no way to say goodbye.
I loved you in the morning, our kisses deep and warm,
your hair upon the pillow like a sleepy golden storm,
yes many loved before us, I know that we are not new,
in city and in forest they smiled like me and you,
but let's not talk of love or chains and things we can't
untie,
your eyes are soft with sorrow,
Hey, that's no way to say goodbye.
Tried to take a snapshot of the joy within my heart
but the colors couldn't capture the brightness of my soul
Tried to paint a picture of the solitude I felt
but the unforgiving canvas only showed a blob of grey
Tried to sculpt a model of the strength within my mind
but the clay was soft, my inept hands couldn't make it behave
Tried to compose a symphony of all I've ever been
but the notes were shrill and piercing in my ears
So I will try to capture my soul upon this page
exuberant joy bounces
righteous anger seethes
envy and greed sicken
rage burns hot
hatred reigns
despair washes over
contentment settles in
sadness lingers
mingles with loneliness
ecstasy thrills
faith falters
hope survives
