Memories fall apart
Like an angel in the dark
(She's clinging onto life)

Memories cut you from inside
They bleed you out until you're dry
(Love kills people every night)

Such a lovely disaster
Nightmare, such a blunder
We used to be such lovers
Until we broke each other
And became perfect strangers

Take my heart,
I don't want it back

Take my love,
I'll get through it

Heartbreak shows us
Never love and never trust
(Unless you wanna die inside)

People will heal you
Then they'll leave you
(It's all a game, alright)

People will deceive you
Then wonder why
It's breaking you
They never care
Until they see you happier
With someone that isn't them
Only then, they'll want you near
Wanna know every detail

(No, go to hell and stay there)
Venting in the best way possible.
Things have been relatively fair
With the sweet kiss of October's air
Shedding bracelets, now longer sleeves
And of course a smile that everyone believes
Quite factually he's manged to fool himself
Bittling his emotions, hiding them on a shelf
And he's found a girl who might actually stay
Until he thinks, what a lovve story cliche
He's happy, truly happy, so he thinks
But then he realize's he's back on the brink
Slowly bordering relapse and recovery
Without any help from social anxiety
He's capable of laughing at simple jokes
But he fears someday he'll be a hoax
He's the guy girls all adore
Yet he believes he's someone they'll deplore
Pushed people awqay, has yet one friend
Slipping back to old ways, alcohol requisite
Knuckles bruised, self petulant
Tear stained face, whiskey on his breathe
Each shot represents a friend who left
He writes his goodbye letter and crumbles it up
He feels even worse, he's low on luck
And thing is no one knows what's truly happening
Unable to see his mutilating agony
His cries were silent whispers; unheard
No one knew, he never said a word
Till everyone woke up and he was gone
No one knew who did him wrong
Used his blade to create an allegory
And the scars fit together to tell his story
This is dedicated to my best friend who recently attempted suicide on his birthday, He's okay now, thank the heavens. He's so wonderful and I feel this expresses him excellently

Do you know what I have just realized? Do you know what has just crossed my mind? I cannot have you.
Not like I'd like to, not like I want to. I can't have you because she does.
Which is fine, because you can't be mine.
I'm sad.
Which is okay.
I'm hurting.
Which I will get through.
For now I just need to write some poetry and draw and cry and hopefully soon.
I will wake up, and your voice won't choke me.
The memories won't ******* me.
I will get through this.
One.
Day.
At.
A.
Time.
Do not stand at my grave and weep..
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry..
I am not there. I did not die.
If you had been a musician, it would be impossible for me to tear my heart away from yours
However you still managed to play my heart strings,
You innocent fingers unintentionally plucking, prodding, pulling my heart in so that it could never be separated again

They say that heartbreak is when a part of your heart is broken, however
I think that when people are in love, the heart melds completely with that of the other person.

I am him and he is me.

When we lose them, our hearts are torn apart
leaving them raw,
gasping for the other half
Pumping
Pumping harder and faster
Pumping
Like my brain when I can't sleep pouring out the memories of you
Pumping
like a faucet running clear and pure then becoming ***** so no one will drink it's filthy waters
Pumping
Like the fiery engine on a train heaving burning embers, whistling, whisking it's passengers far away from home
Pumping
Like the thick blood throbbing through my thin veins, every time I think of those eyes
Pumping
Like the ghost of the beat in your chest next to my ear drums beating,
beating
as I fall asleep

My blood is pumping out of my body with no second heart to hold it, my love pumping out of me, wasted and forgotten

Pumping from an infinite pool of love for you that will continue rushing
If only, you would care to accept it
If only you could be mine and I could be yours and we would hold each other under the stars and see their lights in our eyes, the universe above, around, and in us, filling our entire beings
If only you would hold me.
Your lips on mine my hands in your hair your hands on my waist forever entwining
like two vines

Growing

The longer they grow, the more entangled they become, the harder it is to tell where one starts and one begins

I have forgotten where I end and you begin.

But you are gone, your vines have slithered through my soul, disappearing
leaving empty tunnels
creating crevices until one day it will finally
collapse

But for now, your invisible vines remain, and I convince myself I am whole
