He kissed her a kiss
so seducing and deep.
A kiss that swept her
off her feet. A kiss that
lit up all the lanterns
she had inside. A kiss
that let her soul
shine during her
darkest of
times* ~

Bodies coming together
in a dance of flesh and
bone. Bodies craving
one another the way
people crave luxury
and sitting on the
throne* ~

In general most wars are pointless
In general children get killed
In general  cities do vanish
In general the missiles hit
The general takes the decisions
But in general he does not smell
the smell of fire
In general he does not hear the people scream
In general  he only counts the hits and all the rest generally is seen as calculated side effects
He gives the orders
To push the ****
To fly the jet
To drop the bomb
It is precision but that's precisely the problem of a general war

I'm finding my heart
using your hands.

Healing my scars
using your love.

Lighting my dark
with all of your
sparks.

Reading the
words trembling
off your
tongue.

I'm following the
map that's stretched
over your skin and
bones.

While tasting the
honey dripping
from your voice.

And listening to
our hearts hum
the same melodies
from within* ~

Wash my soul with ocean
water and salt. Heal my
body from the pain and
hurt.

Kiss my suicidal thoughts
away. Fight my demons in
the dead of night and stay.

Promise me things will be
alright. Drench my body
with your waves.

Whisper the words of you
are rescued and saved
across my chest.

Turn the knobs on the small
of my back to make sure the
doors of my past are well
shut.

To make sure that I will never
go back and get lost* ~

He raced to her dreams
dragging the moon along
on a pretty string. Cause
he knew how she loved to
see the wolves gather and
howl at it filling the night
with lonely cries while
she sat and sighed as
poetry rolled down her
arms and thighs* ~

She barely knew his
name. But she kissed
him anyway and his
beauty was to blame.
He was like a city
while she was just
a dark abandoned
alley* ~
