Did you see the war zone
in her head. The dark clouds
coming crashing in. How her
sun bled every afternoon
with different shades of red.
Did you see scars on her hips
and hands ? The lines by razor
blades on her delicate skin ?
Did you see how she walked
with pride out of it all leaving
the chaos she had in her head
behind ? How she slipped her
boots on and walked out of it
holding the red rose with it's
thorns ? She found someone
to push her dark clouds away.
Someone to share her life with
and play. Someone with a shining
light to keep her safe. To guide
her night and day. Someone who
told her it's going to be ok* ~

I refuse to let the culture
stop me from loving you.
I refuse to let people get
in the way. I'll use my nails
to cut the noose they'll try
to choke me with. The
tears that will fall from my
eyes will be like ocean waves.
They'll put out the fire and flames
that will catch on their gasoline
soaked ropes they'll use to
tie me up with. Our love
will live. It's free and true.
No man will come through
me and you. And i'll always
fight when it comes to you.
A love like this deserves a
chance to grow and bloom* ~

Wrote your name on
the sea shore. Had the
fear that the water might
wash it away during the
day. The shells from the
water gathered themselves
to spell your name out.
Pretty pink clams , seaweed
and shiny rocks as well.
The stars shined down
at night and made your
name shine bright.
Leading lost ships to
shore leading the lost
to home. Leading my
heart to fall in love
with yours* ~

Caught in your love like
a fish in a net. Like dew on
flowers of spring. Like rain
on wet summer grass. Like
frosting on my favorite flavored
cupcake. Like a snow flake
on a child's tongue. Like your
kiss on my lips. Like your your
hands on my hips. Like your
tongue on my neck. I am
caught in your love. Like your
beating heart in your chest.
Like your heart caught in your
rib cage* ~

He made a garden out of her.
Pulled the weeds from the
cracks of her bones. Parted
the curtains of her soul to allow
the sunshine to pass right
through. Planted tulips and
roses. Dandelions as well.
Watered her gardens with
the water dripping from the
side of his hands. He sits and
smiles as the flowers bloom
and grow. He sits and smiles
as the gardens give colour to
her soul. The vines wrap
themselves so gently around
the cage of her ribs. Morning
dew falls on the petals from
within making the photosynthesis process begin while the sunshine
pours down on them. He made
a garden out of her and that's how their story of love began* ~

A violin is given life
when bought out of its
coffin. It's given a life
when held with tender
and care. It's not just
wood with strings. It
has a voice that can sing
and a pulse that beats in
the violinists talented
hands. The sound it does
while its strings are plucked
leave it's audience breathless
and gasping for air while
shouting for an applause.
A violin is given life when
you carry it around in the
light and fresh air. It's given
life when held in your gentle
hands* ~

Found a man who told me the
story of Alice In Wonder Land.
In the middle of the meadows
in the season of spring. He lay
there on his back pulling on his
violin string by string. Offered
me a seat beside the daisies and
gave me a basket of hearts as a
treat. Told me the story and
refused to take money. He grabbed
my hand and off we went to a
door in the meadows that led to wonderland. A place with roses
with out thorns. A place with
rainbows and unicorns. A place
with love and no storms. He
pulled out a ring from the pocket
in the back of his pants. Giggled
and blushed while he asked to
have my hand. Would you care
to be my dear Alice in this wonderland ? he said. I'll love you with my
heart and soul i'll love you with
my all* ~
