You made me, I am yours,
Question not why I am here
Love me all the same
Help me grow, strong and persistent
Show me the way through life, as you know it..
Teach me to be a leader, not a follower
Allow me to learn from your knowledge
Help me understand pain, as I endure it
Lend me wisdom, and encouragement
Teach me, to be like you, my creator.
Help me understand the differences in life..
To learn how to be kind, and sympathetic
Help someone in need, without praise in return
Help me reach the stars, without stretching
Create an amazing masterpiece, without art
To love all, without any reservations
Be proud of me, of who I am, for I am part of you.

All the while we wait
For life, come what may
Taking the good with the bad
Each and every waking day.

Sometimes in life we realize
Things aren't always as they seem
Even though we continue on
As living in a dream.

Often we ponder our existence
Answers to our purposes on earth
Maybe we are here to dream our dreams
Or maybe to explore our worth.

Are we worth a life each day
Perhaps we are worth so much more
In time we shall all know
Just what our purpose was for.

If only to write a book, or two
Or love with the heart we are granted
To give the most of who we are
For we are the seeds He planted.

Go on about your life this day
and everyday there after
No more worries why we're here
Just fill your days with laughter.

In your heart you'll soon understand
the purpose He has for us each
Until that day, live life, come what may
When He's ready our souls he shall seek.

When I fell asleep last night
I had the most amazing dream
We sat together peacefully
By the rose petal stream.
The sky was baby blue
Not a cloud in sight
The sun draped our bodies
As it shone ever so bright.
The grass was soft as cotton
Yet as green as it could be
The trees were full of color
For only our eyes to see.
The birds, chirping love songs
Soft breeze in the air
Our dreamland was so beautiful
As only you and I were there.

Standing in a distance
Staring across the room
Will this be their fate
Or their everlasting doom?

Her heart pounds profusely
The sound he cannot miss
For they shall fall in love
But only by midnights kiss.

He walks towards her silently
He is music to her heart
She glares at him with passion
For they never want to part.

He takes her hand so gentle
"May I have this dance?"
Not a word escapes her lips
The answer is in her glance.

He bows before her lovingly
For this dance he shall not miss
As she flows across the dance floor
They await the midnights kiss.

As he holds her in his arms
They dance the night away
With so much love before them
Not quite the chance to say.

The night begins to fade
On her way, she needs to be
Caressed by all his tender words
His love, her heart can see.

Knowing if she leaves now
It shall be the end of this
If she stays her love she'll know
But only by midnights kiss.

She stares into the night
It's about to be her doom
As she looks out across the crowd
Of the people who fill the room.

Their eyes meet in wonder
Towards each other they stride
For the feelings held within their hearts
Each can no longer hide.

Into his arms she plunges
A magical night filled with bliss
For two people have fallen in love
Only by midnights kiss.

Beautiful white gown, flowing so fair,
Babies breath wrapped in my hair
Lovely flowers, I hold in my hands,
Awaiting the hour that we shall both stand
Vowing our love, underneath open sky,
As doves in flight pass us by
True love has met it's glorious day
Knowing that forever, it's here to stay
Feeling the air breath on our skin,
The sun, to our souls, sinking within
As we vow to each other to always be true
From this day forward, it's me and you
A chance to make a brand new start
With love to over flow each others hearts
Before you, I stand, to walk down the isle
My true love awaits, with a gorgeous smile
My heart is singing from deep within,
For this is the moment our life will begin
My journey starts, towards my love so true
Tears fill my eyes, each step closer to you
On this day, my dream has come true
To marry a man as wonderful as you
Now together we stand, side by side
We say our vows with honor and pride
To have your name, now as my own
We kiss with passion, our love is shown
Down the isle, now as one
Our lifelong journey has just begun.
Beautiful day, wondrous start
We are now the owners of one big heart
To envision a love, so perfect and true
This is my dream for when I marry you.

Old heart, beating strong
Together we'll stop...
It won't be long.

Give it time, see me through
There are things...
We've yet to do.

We can't give up, not just yet
I have to make sure..
That my life is all set.

In due time, the sound will end
The music shared...
By life long friends.

Before we go, we must say goodbye
To those we cherish...
Whom we loved all our lives.

Walk the path, we've never taken
To ask forgiveness...
From those we've forsaken.

Handing out thanks, where it is due
For being kind to others...
As they were always kind to you.

Analyze the truth, see it as we may
For all through life...
We should have done this everyday.

Now it's time to go, no time for looking back
We cannot make up for...
All the years that we now lack.

Old heart, beating strong
Together we stop...
Our life is now gone.

If you were the raindrops
that fell from the sky
I'd fill a glass with each one
Owning all of you
Placing you inside me
Each time I felt the desire
to be close to you.
Rubbing you all over my body
Just to feel each glistening drop of you
If you were the trees
that grew from the earth
I'd plant a new one each day
To have as much of you as I wanted
Allowing you to shelter me
Keep me shaded from the world
I'd become your need for life
In order to survive
You would then own me.
