I sit and stare...
As time crawls by
Anxiously awaiting nightfall.

Nowhere to go,
Nothing to do
But yawn and stretch-
All day long.

Nothing interests me today

Sleep becomes tiring
Food becomes tasteless
Nothing catches my fancy

Not the TV
Not the radio.
I take a walk outside
Not a chance!
The fierce sun drives me back.

I call my friends
But all are busy
It's a conspiracy!

I sigh,
Desperate for the day to end
Maybe a book will speed it up
I browse through my shelf
Picking one at random
I sleep off,
Before I make it through page one

Hopefully, I'll sleep away time

I awake to the barking dogs
Convinced I've slept for hours
I feel worse than before
Cos I only slept 5 minutes.
**** dogs!

I listen to a song-
Cindy Lauper's Time After Time
I feel like crying
Where is everybody?
I give up!

Nothing works for me today

It's a sad, long and lonely day
The street is quiet-
Except for the barking

I feel tired
Tired from sleeping
Tired from everything
Nothing to do but think.

Finally, I pick up my pen
I grab a paper
I write a line
And for the first time today-

I smile!

silencings
holding your skin against mine,
exploring the silk surfaces of your mind,
diving deep into the darkness
just to hear the rain and street collide.

i'm a sinking ship,
an eroding shore,
that ebbs past the horizon,
evermore,

i'm a withering tree
losing its scarlet youth,

am i a lie?
or am i the truth?

Love hurts,
and so does lust.
But trust me now, somehow—
rough *** with a stranger
only endangered

my loneliness.
Thursday morning took away the pain of my lost Monday nights.

my heart is my front door
and she is the curious fly

I see her out of the corner of my eye
as she flies about
she explores me from top to bottom
and I don't mind having her around
she can stay as long as she wants
as long as she doesn't make a sound
it's nice having company in this house

I was alone for quite some time
took a vacation to find myself
I traveled through my mind
turning the ugly things into beautiful seashells
the salty air may dry my skin, but I love how it smells

I woke one morning
to the sound of buzzing
I grew to hate the sound
but now
it seems lovely and sweet
I let the vibration rock me back to sleep

sitting in a rocking chair
I watch as she soars past me
following her with my eyes
she flies in patterns I've never seen
making me dizzy
the head rush becomes addicting

she flew out through my open door
the same way she came in
swift, and curious
she viewed the outside
the way she viewed me
an adventure
nothing to be sure of

it's been months
I haven't seen her since
but I can still hear the buzzing
It gives me headaches
but I still leave my door open
even though I know she isn't coming

noah price
Solitude is addicting
As my head grows restless
And my thoughts take over
Washing down like a waterfall
But at the bottom
There is no oasis
Just rapids

Madness is inviting
As my thoughts bounce around my head
Like a tennis ball at Wimbledon
Knocked back and forth, searching for a victor.
Like 100 tiny voices fighting to be heard in an endless echo
It's like fighting for calm
In the middle of an endless ocean,
Struggling in the midst and mist of a hurricane
I'm thrown from the sanctuary of my boat
And plunge into the murky waters of insecurity
Drowning in sorrow, mistrust and anxiety.
I sense a calm and open my eyes
Just to be hit with another wave and pulled back under
Deeper than before.

I just want to tell you I love you a thousand times over and over,
hold you in my arms and
let my lips linger over your lips.

I want to softly stroke your face,
eyebrows to scarred cheek to chin,
and breathe you all in.

I want to memorize the way your limbs connect to one another;
the way your body seamlessly flows in order.

I want to feel your arms around me in the tightest of embraces,
hear the traces
of beautiful words as they melt into laces of hopes and dreams.

I want to imagine a future home
with love and
roam the world with our hands intertwined together,
stay by your side forever.

I love you.

I want to know the love;
The love that feels.
Holds you in it's depths-
Don't think, experience the way our skin meets.
Your eyes hold the world in their glossy expanse
I wish the feelings inside me would be more easily expressed.
Your arms carry my dreams in them,
You take away the pain with a touch of your whispering fingertips.
These close moments hold the depth of my soul in relation to yours.
These words I write are the life I need to stop the pain now...
In the day I fear little; in the night I fear your god-
The power he holds over you.
Homesick for your missing hands,
The thoughts leave my mind in slumber.
The pure white blankness of my dreams-
Dreams aren't always blank.
To hope never to die with a scream on my lips, but beneath the weight of your love is all I can ask.
Dear, release me from this coma of passionlessness.
Watch me til you're gone
The soft little words you've left will be my life vest;
The perfect acceptance to believe your sweet heart and it's devotion, my buoy above the water's dark depths.
Moments with my hands in your hair; your hips on mine, are the only ones that I feel the pleasure of purity.

Isn't that ironic?

There are three curses of the soul
And each in turn take their toll
Upon me
For all I feel and know
All I see

First is the curse of knowing too much
Secrets thought forgotten in the dust
Things I can never pull from my head
Things that keep me awake in my bed

Second is another of excess
Caring to much, dying in the process
Wishing only to bring you back to life
Wishing only to do what is right

Last and the most cruel of them all
The fire at the bottom of the fall
That which keeps me crawling through
The trench of darkness to find you

Hope, a poison of heart and mind
Hope to one day be kind
To give you back sight
To see your smile so bright
For this I would die
Maybe then I would see the light
