Dxsolate Sighs
You,with those vintage glasses on.
Right across the road with your cousins selling skater clothes with smiles and laughter.
I catch your eyes while I was reading but I tried to avoid my mind from imagining.
Your brother came up to me and he introduced me to you.
We shared emotions and talked about dreams.
Days go by,we kept on talking but then,it feels like you're abandoning me.
It's as though I am such a burden to you.
We fought because I get tired.
But I guess it's my fault too.
For declaring "we're just friends,right?"

I thought she would not come
When the spider webs began to grow
And the shimmering strands
Closed out my vision.

When all became segmented
And web-trapped,
And I had to watch
As shrinking islands of meaning
Were all that stayed.

As the patches became dots,
Thinning and sharpening,
She pushed them apart,
Reached in, and pulled me out.

Silently I sat
transfixed on the deeply layered smoke
straying from my lips
and rolling towards the open window's lure
of a rather enveloping
and icy night.
City lights hummed in the wake of my house
across the road
brilliant under the street lamp
dancing far from the trail
and behind the stroke of trees
over the hill
out of my reach
and knotted in my veins.

Completed, unfinished
Meeting, never met
Craving the simplest flame
The unrequited touch

Tender, a sampling
Vivacious
Do I know you?
I would like to
I would love to

Extinction is near
I can smell it
The death of the neatly
And inky curved letters
The excitement
Of receiving

One day, perhaps already
Electric transmission
Will monopolize
Gone will be
The crisp letter
Neatly folded, tantalizing
Faintly scented, terrifying

You and I
Always, on and on
Forever will exchange
The pieces of paper
Which to others
Mean nothing
Yet to us
Are the everything of eternity.

Pipes and lights stretching past me
Expressionless faces and lifeless movements
I live in a world
A world made up of dreary routine
Where has passion gone?
I look under the crevices of their eyes but seek to find no refuge
Oh how I long to feel
Oh how I long for the world to feel passion and lust for life

“Wow,” I said.

That snarky smile with her newly adorned thick glasses gazed up at me,

gingerly sipping on that grande caramel latte with soy milk and no whipped cream, obviously

“What?” she replied

Staring as her red cup graced the gentlest lips I’ve seen

I was speechless

Even after 17 short months I get like this

Like the first date oh-****-what-do-I-say speechless

How wow is that?

To share your Sunday mornings with

those glasses, that smile, and that **** latte without the slightest of cares

but to enjoy the upcoming breakfast and morning sunshine together

“Nothing,” I smiled

Watching as she returned to her menu deciding which sides to go with her toast

A daunting decision, indeed.
You keep to yourself
You don't let anything out
You let few people in
Your trust is a gift; close to no one receives
I had it once
I heard your deepest thoughts
Your darkest secrets
Those not even your best friend knew
I cherished every word
From the anxiety, to your God complex
I remember it all
But now, I don't even hear your greeting
Where did you go?
Please, say something.

Jacques Prévert
He poured the coffee
Into the cup
He put the milk
Into the cup of coffee
He put the sugar
Into the coffee with milk
With a small spoon
He churned
He drank the coffee
And he put down the cup
Without any word to me
He emptied the coffee with milk
And he put down the cup
Without any word to me
He lighted
One cigarette
He made circles
With the smoke
He shook off the ash
Into the ashtray
Without any word to me
Without any look at me
He got up
He put on
A hat on his head
He put on
A raincoat
Because it was raining
And he left
Into the rain
Without any word to me
Without any look at me
And I buried
My face in my hands
And I cried

He wandered amongst the midday twilight peak;
In his window glared a formative feline,
I was once lost in it,
But then recommended a fine smile to my deliberated agenda,
Oh how the world inquires beyond thee,
Like a nimble breeze amongst a flame,
Upon a strained vigil sanity keep,
Upon my own reflection revelation came.
