Hasret, Hasrat, حسرت— quite the word / which has spread across the Oriental realm; / A word whose effects can never be replicated

I Wouldn't Hurt A Fly
He touched my hand so gently that it was barely noticeable / I assured him that he was welcome & that I wouldn't hurt a fly / He didn't answer me when I honoured the True One within--

The Other Side
He betrayed her in the worst way she was bound to find out someday He was hoping to hide his sins but she had found out where he'd been He was seeing her for almost a year it was worse than she had feared She felt her entire world change her life went from blue to grey He became defensive with the proof but she already knew the truth Married for so many long years she watched it all disappear Phone calls late into the night she never knew they weren't alright She asked him if he was in love with this stranger she knew nothing of I've seen it a million times but she was a friend of mine As she sank into deep depression I knew self-love was the medication It would take her some time but she'd come out on the other side

Sky wanderers
Some always wander in the sky like a cloud. / You might not envy the loneliness, but They different from the crowd. / Bright in their own way, but not so loud.
