Hiding the pain I’m always feeling
My story is coming to an end
I’m trying to be brave and enjoy the rest of my life

Sometimes life is hard
Your dealt a hand of cards
That sometimes you may fold
Other times you have a full house
It’s how you look are the hand your dealt
If you rise above yourself
Or if you crumble and fold
Showing your not so good poker face
Falling down and losing all your chips
Put on your brave face
Look from a different perspective
Even if the cards don’t fall exactly how you expect

Like a candle
We will burn bright for years
Every so often
Our flame will burn out
But there will be someone
Who will relight our flame
And make us burn bright again

Freezing cold
