This may not be a poem per-say
But thank you for reading my work everyday
I may not be great
But it comes from the heart
I hope it touches someone’s life
Near and or far

I pray in the forthcoming that we will be alright
Within the future that lies ahead of us
Our destiny in which we do not know
Shield us from evil and harm but  let us not be scared
To fulfill our hopes and dreams
Within this crazy world we live upon
I pray for a lifetime of happiness for all
No matter our race, background or religious views
We are all created equal and in the same way
Please watch over us each and every day...

What is happening to our world?
Mass destruction
Natural disasters
Unpredictable acts of terror
Is anywhere safe anymore?
Can we all not live in fear?
Are we all wrapped up in the bubble of our own city within we live?
Could something happened in our “safe living”
Fear is living the unknown to our own destiny
Unfortunately everything happens for a reason
We may not knowingly make the right decisions
Or know otherwise of the prediction of our future
Make the best of the days ahead because you never know when tragic will strike at your feet..

Magical expressions
Unicorns leaping into your dreams
Mind working in overtime
Racing against the oceans current
Fish leaping out of the water
Birds soaring high above the rainbows end
Landing on your thought process
Delivering a new world of expectation

Sitting on the sidewalk with nothing left
Thinking of my past and what I have left
A picture I hold of someone I loved
Is all I have is who up above
I shiver at night knowing he’s still here
I’m left alone hearing all my fears
The memory I hold within my heart
Will always be there in a shadow of the night

Like a puff of smoke in the air
It will diminish and disappear
Linger for a minute
Then fade away
It’s like words that spill out of your mouth
That you can’t take back
Swirling into thin air
Causing pollution
Verbal communication and abuse
Think before you speak or like the puff of smoke
You will fall victim to your own destiny of life problems
