Every time she writes
I fall in love over and over
Chemical Romance
Arthur Vaso Mar 10
Radio silence
the explosions stopped
no one left to love
decomposing tear by tear
There is no measurement for sadness.
Arthur Vaso Mar 9
The sky and the sea bend and kiss
stories of love, I would never miss

The Tariffista
Arthur Vaso Apr 17
Now there is a tariff on all things
even a Trump cap is $1,295.00 now
says "Make America Great Again"
yet you say what? made in China?

Too my American friends I say sorry
I am left with no choice
to read my poems I must impose
a 224% tariff
on each and every verse
I feel bad
however I have to defend my land
every moose, every bear, every goose
loonies and ducks matter too
no more real maple syrup for you

If for any reason
you can not afford such high tariffs
I will accept a bottle of wine
it must come from France
I am poor but do have taste
Hey, I am not joking about the wine, send me Wine!!!! LOL oh an edit, from Bekka Valley or Australia is fine as well!!!

Guns and Roses
Arthur Vaso May 25
They sing their songs
for those who drop bombs
we know very well for who
are the guns
Zionists who **** for pleasure and fun

They hold no rose for humanity
in name only
they sing for **** and death
and a babies last breath
their roses dead, their guns ablaze

The flower of love
the flower against oppression
the flower of life
amongst the Olive trees
the Hannoun blooms, even where evil lurks
The slaughter, starvation and genocide of Palestinians continues, pure evil.

Three Dancing Dots
Arthur Vaso Feb 16
Here I sit
staring at three dancing dots
in dire anticipation
of her words and her thoughts
what will she say?
what shall I do?
with this happiness even when sad
and melancholic blue
feelings so old, now so new
I better stop thinking
is valentine really true?

She
Arthur Vaso Jun 1
She
Red, the vibrancy of the rose
hidden
the little garden smiles after the rain
filled full of compassion
she is my sanity
in a world
that has gone insane
she is the sunrise
when sunsets are only
flames
Arthur Vaso Mar 27
Roses bloom in the dirt
they live in the sun and the rain
leave them alone
they suffer no pain
their soft petals caress
touching places hidden
the burning stops
as the wilted rose rests on top

Bechi
Arthur Vaso Mar 21
You have known me for years
you and Harif, brothers in arms
late evenings and making sure
Cuba becomes free
Che would have been proud
of us, all for one and one for all
bonded by compassion
all these words, I know you know

late into the nights
jazz music or Arabic delights
the philosophy runs deep and blue
romance seeping in our veins

I know you are one of the few whom understand
how can I not? be in love
with a woman, who says........

"Happy international women's day.
**** all the feminists who remained silent on the Gaza genocide."

when the last song is finished
you will be asleep
you already know
I am eternally grateful
a taste of the family I never had
Hope you like! :)

Back From the Dead
Arthur Vaso Apr 12
You must read the poem before this one, to get this one!

Three days later
as the rules clearly state
my resurrection, my fate
my love charged with ******
this I could not take
off to the police station
to set things straight
they are not the brightest
of humanity, you all must know
I stated, my words were simply
metaphor
she is innocent, any child could show
It is I, the guilty one
I jumped of my own volition
sadness and sorrow was my mental condition

The Police let her go
as this wasn't Israel
the resurrection over
she tossed me off the cliff
for real this time.
If you smiled, then I succeeded

Dead Candles
Arthur Vaso Jun 11
Memories are killing me
tears are drowning me
your words of softness
flew away, yet
I hold dear these memories
soft flames burning my heart

A Poem
Arthur Vaso Jul 2
I wanted to write a poem
about you today
I lost all my words
so let your ears hear my heart
beat
a song of love
for someone
whom makes me smile
simple thoughts, I know
is how I see you treat others
that makes my heart glow
even my tears
have slowed
To know such kindness and empathy is a comforting thing.

Dinner
Arthur Vaso Sep 8
Coscos
pita bread
life with family
precious

Before eating
we offer a special prayer
peace and abundance for all
whatever we have, we will share

We have to live, carry on
we smile when sadness leaks inside
we are the everyday ones
leaders now ignore

Our table, wine and humanity
no blood, for kindness
has no enemies
toast to the words of love

For every child
candy and balloons
our abode is the worlds
hope must always be eternal

Abundance of food and love
festive and filled with joy
the children of the world
our precious flowers
Dedicated to the kindest of hearts, that I know would welcome every child of the world to her home.

She of Nazareth
Arthur Vaso Aug 13
By the river side
the weeds grew and spread
covering the shoreline
life there a vibrant bloom

Now they grow everywhere
cultivated and sown
feeding humanity
beauty sways in the summer breeze

The Elder Wheat stem said long ago
they think of us as a nuisance
feed them and they will make us fields
where our dreams are told
love is passed on
we shall conquer the world
harming not a soul
our stems
fertile
all love and life will grow

She of Nazareth
a heart that glows

My House
Arthur Vaso Jun 28
A home
is
warm, inviting
living beings
lives unfolding
Christmas carols
children's laughter

then

it becomes a house
empty
barren rooms
death now roams freely
dancing slowly to sad memories

then

a new family of smiles
children play
a new home
life recycled
memories built
on sand castles

then

it becomes a simple
house again, empty
whispers of the past
deaths song sings again
time moves on

I lived in a place
that was a house
never a home

I am White
My head low
in shame
fooled by words
written by the victors
fooled by Zionists
who have always told lies
I should have listened
to the oppressed
the poor
the neglected

Speak to me now
my ears will send your voices
direct to my heart
This is fiction, I have always stood with the oppressed everywhere. I just imagined a person who saw the light and had a change of heart. I hope all true hearts are open to change and growth.
