Angelo Iudici Apr 2020
Worn and wrinkled
Promised and sworn
Conditions of my heart

My fortune has faded
I promise I waited

Such nothings I miss
Loneliness
Angelo Iudici Apr 2020
Morning’s warmth
Rest and thoughts ensue
Refreshed like summer’s dew

The day is born anew
Memories of warmth
Angelo Iudici Dec 2019
There but not
Awake but asleep
Lonely the silence
Uncomforting creek

Knowledge he wants
Not that we give him
Born of innocence yet
Remains imprisoned

Together the planets
Lonely is Pluto
Forever he’s waiting
He hopes all for you know
I might’ve visited the outside of where Edgar Allen Poe lived: 85 West 3rd Street, New York, New York (1844-1846) - Then I visited Caffé Reggio, ordered a cappuccino and wrote this poem
Angelo Iudici Dec 2019
Stop
Explain
Remove my pain

Undo my silence
Cease the violence
Abstain the bane

Forever Change
Always Remain
Leave me never

Please,
get better
Angelo Iudici Sep 2019
Life is maybe like a deck of cards
How many must you draw
Before you find
The one

King of Hearts
Angelo Iudici Aug 2019
Dimming and fading
Singing and shading
Autumn’s eve
Summer leaves

I won’t forget
Future season’s regret
Summer’s sunset
Angelo Iudici Sep 2018
Gone the water
Dry the land
Deceased the peace
Grey the hand

The sky is black
The tree is weeping
The fruit has lack
I wish I was dreaming
In darkness I’m trapped
