The Gilded Opening
Anecandu Jul 2018
The gilded opening is terse and with age defined,
Locking away the pathway from a golden mind,
Hairlike roots of tiny letters form a braid,
Ficus-ing along stretching prongs of Purple and Jade,

Pushing they gather and spider around its ovate curves,
occasioning sprouts from cracks lips perturbed,
grammarized rain fertilizing delicate pods of flesh,
blossoming frosty lemon blooms of T's R's come to rest,

The bunched words hanging, dangling like grapes, of frailty,
dipping on fickle branches barely holding on to reality,
threatening to fall like daggered swords,
But alas are some silently whispered Jamaican words
Anecandu Sep 2016
Sunrise on your face like a warm caressing hand
Your surrounded by friends, a tired but merry band.
No hooks or ropes needed just your backpack and your aching feet
Your taking longer drinks now to stave off the heat.

Its so contrasting, your hot when its frigid cold
This moment you'll remember, this memory is Gold
Its about achieving what you thought impossible at first
Something good for the soul, not just the hunger, but a thirst.

You fill your bottle from natures *****
eating your fill from among earths blossoms
Berries, nuts, roasting on ember lit nights.
the eyes consume the bounty of sights.

But the sunrise on the crimson dawn
while stretching your tired frame at being reborn,
So near so high you can touch the vanilla sky
You promise yourself to be back, but alas you lie......

Perfume
Anecandu Jun 2014
Waiting for me after a long shower and shampoo

I dry my bronze silky skin and come to you,

Your smiling sweetly sitting on the edge of Marble countertop,

waiting while your loving gaze at me never drops.

I reach out my moist hands, we brush,

You shake nervously and seem to turn to mush.

Your wondering really how innocent are my fluid motions,

I'm smirking, while grasping a scented lotion.

You sit there amused blushing from Pink to rainbow,

Each angle gives you a new mellow, a glow, wow!

I'm missing something , something I pretend to forget,

You look impatient now with sighs of regret.

You sulk as I glimpse with a lean of my head,

through the frame of my door from my now made up bed,

I pull up my slacks, your sunny smile fades to dreary,

I put on my shirt, your turning the evil fairy.

I know you feel there's someone else,

Some disappearing genie or magical elf,

because you sense but never see,

Me happy in other pleasant company.

You want to be all over me that much is clear.

I want to take you too in my arms dear,

But today will have to be just that touch,

Your lingering smell on me makes others lust.

But silently you understand,

Your sealed mouth is as dry as sand,

I blow a kiss as I pick up my key,

I know in the dark you'll wait for me................

Because your MY perfume

Trembling Lips
Anecandu Sep 2014
I hope today to see your smile like a life saving pill,
that makes the butterflies in my stomach obey my will.

To reach out beyond my arms too short,
and hold to kiss those trembling lips while they retort.

To look at you with wanting and you at me until.
you know I truly madly want you and will never have my fill.

In the Castle of my smile
Anecandu Nov 2018
In the castle of my smile
All lovely words are imprisoned in stone
This place I am king that stretches a mile
My tongue its gilded throne

In the castle of my smile,
I spy through its bars of milky white
The silky wonderful love of my life
Walk Eden's paradise of light.

In the castle of my smile,
I weave a golden rope of magic letters,
Gluing jointed lyrics with praise filled ethers
Ignoring the splinters of criticism  for better.

My means of escape down the walls to you.

Anecandu Sep 2014
Saturday I was the happiest knight in your kingdom
Sunday I extinguished loves burning embers with mere chewing gum
Monday I answered your call..... to muster arms, your period enemy.
Tuesday I saw my purple sky fall around me like attacking dragons.
Wednesday  I cried bitterly making my own wailing wall.
Thursday I built a trebuchet, to catapult me back into your life.
Friday I lost my sanity when I heard only the Pied Pipers fife

I wish there was another day, I need another chance.

The prisoner
Anecandu Sep 2014
I'm a prisoner of love, in this unguarded cell,
The warden whistles my name you'd think it hell,
but she knows my case all too well,

Her piercing eyes as resolute as the Bastille,
Dodging Cupids arrows at will,
Across this broom is forever, I'm gone for a life long spell,

With Joy as my bars and happiness the rubber shower mats,
Blissful ecstasy is its escape deterrent traps,
I pass the time a whittling hearts and sharpening this rap.

See those chalk lines on the wall of my heart?
They record the memories of my days since the start,
Her smiles are more prized than jailhouse art.

At inspection and roll call in the morning,
The smirk under the cap then a whispering,
Keep careful watch on our "Prisoner Prince Charming",

Hero Love
Anecandu Oct 2017
There I was dangling off the edge of life by a thread,
Barnacles growing in my bed,
Walking around with lead shoes,
Always wearing Navy Blue contacts.

Out of nowhere something fast,
Picked me up and upward blast,
Bucking, hurtling into the sapphire sky,
Dancing rainbow fairies around us.

I feel the pixie ..... dust
I revel in the lust
I grow in the fertile trust

Your words are precision Bombs from slow junkers,
Exploding between my ears. there are no bunkers.
My response tumbles out stuttering like anti aircraft nests.
They hit smoke at best.

The alarms in my brain go off suppressed by tears discharged
Heart, Trust, Ego, Friends over the years the shards.......
Your armaments know where to hit and cause most damage,
The sarcasm of your arsenic love language.

Plumes of fiery emotion flare up, soon loves smoldering cracks .
I dodge your heat seeking adjectives, they encircle in packs.
Cold nights afloat clinging to this yellow deflated ego. falters
Awaiting hope in pirated waters.

My Thinker Belle
Anecandu Sep 2014
From the Azul sky a diving sparkling speck,
An unmatched beautiful creature without circumspect,
The golden leaves of spring like soldiers on parade,
Dip and make way for this fair winged maid.

I have so much longed to be first bite of this season,
To be touched and blossomed to perfection by your reason,
I grow juicy, soft and ripen as I fall for you.
Tumbling into your soft Cashmere hands on cue.

Salivating, I’m tasty, savour me between your teeth,
Sink deep in without remorse, how delectably indiscrete!
Say my name with a smile it’s so safe in your mouth.
I’m tingling the roof of your brain with my flavours coming out.

Take me away! as we fly, I’m cast about like an enchanted spell,
Moistening your soft syrupy lips of caramel.
I’m drained to sustain the iridescent colours of your gilded wings,
Moved by the high passionate notes as you sing.

Your smooth, probing tongue, my flesh diabetically sweet,
Leaving streaks of sienna nectar on fates smeared cheeks,
Wipe away before staining fabric from our black and white lives.
They keep returning, stubborn like long goodbyes.

Surprise! New emotions enveloping, hypnotic like Night Jasmine,
Mimicking a rainwater spout so bubbly, escaping, and exciting!
Your caught hopeless as a fish fly rod with a glass eyed trout
Choking while love swoops silent from heaven to pluck it out.

That’s when you look at my seed and you can tell.
I’m good for your ego but as bad as a toadstool’s spell.
So I’m placed in the first mound of mud you come across,
Where you replant me sprinkled with fairy dust.

My dislocated memory
Anecandu Sep 2016
Fragmented pieces of scarlet memories,
trees of stout arms reaching.... affection the fruit it carries,
Mauvey plumes sprout this golden harvest of my imagination.
I'm drawn to taste commitment's nectar

Hear now the sitars melody, notes in Arial Black on Milky White,
I climbed the apple tree in this garden of light,
The colorful wind melodiously blowing a heretic hero's demise,
Though shaken my grasp prevailed the prize.

Alas through and through my vantage point reveals a view,
The floating dislocated memories on a river of silky love,
That rise and brush the teardrops from my cheeks,
Then spirit away like frightened doves.

Crystal
Anecandu Sep 2016
Someone said your eyes were like crystals
I say they are exquisite diamonds that make you sparkle
For even though my station of poverty is cruel,
You are now and always my most precious jewel

To be beholden by your golden charms at leisure
Brings me daily so much pleasure,
Each time you glide into view
As an angel on gilded wings of air.

You persuaded me illicitly with your smile
So captivating it entrapped and dangled keys to a cage of fate,
Where I grin beyond its iron gates,
Here I am yours truly, the world’s happiest prisoner.

For this prison of fate holds and subjugates
My fickle heart to your powers innate,
At any time you could with one wink command me to remain
Enslave me with your iridescent eyes to tame, in your domain

When you speak,  little bells register in my head and echo in my heart
Striking me sharper than Japanese swords... your romantic words
And love, our hearts greatest reward, comes forward so delicately,
Shored and anchored by respect.......... pure in every aspect

Treating your fickle heart as gently it deserves,
Yet how cruel thou art to taunt me this way,
To withhold thy love until now........ all this bliss I missed,
Knowing you could transform my world with a kiss.

Thus you pulled my heart from an Abyss,
Stripping me and burnishing my feelings with happiness,
The freedom of innocence and youth come back as the only truths,
The truth is I would give it all to have just only you.

The girl who I love, her eyes are sparkling polished jade,
Like deep pools of emerald in the mystical caves.

The girl who I love because of her puppy heart,

The girl who I love that encourages me to reach for the stars,

Love out of nothing at all
Anecandu Sep 2014
You call me just to say hi, a little too often I say.
You promise to be with me long after the Arthritis and the Gray.

You say my name so sweetly, I feel it’s always safe in your mouth,
You sip my Coffee just for the taste, wonder what’s that all about?

You say you like my ugliest shirt, I wear it now every day,
You fall asleep in my old tops whenever I’m away.

I find little love notes in my bag, “hurry home” messages at work.
Away we use up all our minutes like teenagers on every network.

You hold me in manly “Nothing” moments of defeat while I cry,
You’re every woman in the world to me , Sounds corny but no lie.

I still surprise you with a rose, Its years since we first met,
Which is why I love most of all, you never let me forget.

So even though this Valentines day is probably too close to call.
I'd rather be with you anyway to “make love out of nothing at all”

Condescending Things
Anecandu Nov 2016
You hate the way I rub your back when we hug in bliss,
You hate the poke of my beard from a stolen cheek kiss,
You hate the way I put off things when I'm able.
You hate my feet on the coffee table,

I hate the way you make me wait like a school boy,
I hate when you pack away all my cool toys,
I hate doing dishes,
I hate doing dishes, for my special wishes.

We hate the awkward kisses in movies these days,
We hate the time that slips away on vacays
We hate that we never have enough space,
We hate when others use our secret place.

They hate when you kiss away my dripping ice cream,
They hate my lion groans and your eagle screams,
They hate our poems about condescending things
They'll hate most of all..... it tugs at their heart strings.

This life brings fresh tasty feelings,
Honey laced emotions wetting my lips,
I say your name and simultaneously think of your hips.
To hold them as my steamy marble cocoa, a frothing cup.
An image, angel of mercy conjured up,

Once lost in my sea of latent thoughts.
I feel your net surround me and I'm caught.
Raising me by my wrists to the shore to be bought.
Alas! freeing me to walk the garden of happy.

The Fuchsia fruits of love hang so easy and low,
I pick and sink my teeth in with violent throes,
Feel their silky juices staining my lions and soaking my innocence....
But the sweetness makes me close my eyes.

Your words are like spring
Anecandu Apr 2016
You linger in my minds forest like the smell of night Jasmine,
The smoking embers of our passion are there entombed,
Lumpy Charcoal feelings choking like a smokers last breath,
Winding up my wild cerebrum as if a trebuchet.

I wish my aim to be true,
To exhale Cupid as all my stupid, arrowed words unglue,
They fade to watermarks on cue.
Passing through the tapestry of our dyed dying friendship,
Before the emotionproof ark of my heart comes to rescue?
This trip is in vein, my pulse the reins of a galloping aorta

They abdicate their royal virtues my eyes
I lay marooned by your smiles and sighs and thighs
My pride preserved,
Pimentoed by the luminous unfoiling of your hips.
The bite of your ripened lips, recoil my courage like bungie cord

And your words are like spring

basking in the bald sun since we were one,
pushing me and my weak knees to run.

today I wrote a different theme,
Nope no midsummer nights dream,
no candlelight under the stars,
no precious smile inducing memoirs.

No handholding, skimpy in the park,
No little  jokes that make your eyes spark,
no warm butterfly forehead (oh man! those) kisses,
no happy 1698 days anniversary wishes.

No rolling around my mouth with your salty tongue,
No chess no dominoes no Donkey Kong,
no skydiving through the clouds while we are young,
no last minute spring cleaning when the bell is rung,

Still in the morning when I lace my shoes,
I just lay back and block out the news,
then out the door to meet the train,
Hoping for rain.............

And there you are with my missing umbrella

Wow, that sounds like my Valentine drink.

2 cubes of happiness, one shot of kink.

2 lumps of heartache and regret by the case,

Strain away the baggage, add enough “saltness” to taste.

Maybe a squeeze of jealousy to wet any dried up memories

With option to garnish at any point with glowing Blackberries.

Taste all you want to, try let all the sweet parts last.

Twirl it like champagne in your mouth, shake like antique glass

And if by chance your head spins or scratch like a LP needle broke.

Don’t cuss and badmouth my recipe or any other liquor on the truck.

Just order another round, or two, unless your pockets short

What else can drown you sorrow but love by the quart.

Today is the day
A day to wait ones life for
What other conclusion then,
Today we are more than friends
A new beginning where a twisted path ends

My desire is to be yours
Next of Kin
Strings played together in a violin
That makes beautiful unchained melody from within

A symphony to the rhythm of time
With life’s beautiful waltz
Or a Tango, eyes focused, frozen as if paused

So take my hands
I'll take yours gladly in promise
take my heart, it belongs to you forever.

In the forest of my mind,
look there, see a clearing.
A spot devoid of emotion or endearing,
No love and other fleeting things,
No matching rings ,
you'll find peace yet lose your bearing.
that happened when you left me.

In the forest of my mind ,
Lay many buried treasures,
To keep them safe are drastic measures,
A rickety swing rope bridge gives no pleasure.
Left of the waterfall are skeletons of past relationships

In the forest of my mind,
Shiny are the eclectic art of earth, Scions.
The dreamy numbing clink of spent emotional bitcoins.
Redeem a golden smile from a fortune guarded by lions.
If you dare,

For in the forest of my mind.

There was a smile that broke the world,
Appeared upon a tryst,
I found the edge of what was love,
I fell in its abyss.

The hallowed smile that broke the world,
Her eyes a vertigoic possessing swirl.
A walking ballet on invisible felt,
Froze my brain, and made my heart melt.

The perfect smile that broke the world
left me carelessly gawking on idle,
My words always so cool were bridled,
My ears filled with caulk to others.

The alluring smile that broke the world,
Its edges curled into a ball,
Its lips coloured cherry like leaves in the fall.
Its corners sharp like assassins knives,

The simple smile that broke the world,
Once only a joy to me,
Its memory will remain protected in lifes fabric stained,
Comes out each jubilee

The hands of a warm lover

Keeps the fire within burning

The wood ablaze consumes, there are no ashes

Only as per the fumes (perfumes) of our exploding ecstasy.

I crave your touch

My innocence blooms to magnificence in your arms

As a buttercup opening to the sun only for a day

A soft heat like ignited ***,

I warm to your soft caresses, the chemistry exposing my colors

You paint my heart a kaleidoscope, an Aurora Borealis

With your velvet lips and its innate powers

My heart a canvas, show me the color of your love,

You see mine as a deep penetrating blue

I see you as all the rainbows brilliant hue

The graceful sway of your alluring thighs

Fills my mouth with lies, and makes me possessive.

A tapestry of lace and dark rich milky chocolate,

woven into the soft sweet fabric enveloping our lives

We exist in selfish promise

An exception of a compromise

Opposites attract yet we are so much indifferent

Perhaps tolerance makes us belligerent

Angry at cruel fate for keeping your hands away from scarring my back

Rub me as if you know all my cracks

You repair all my defects with a smile

So smile then when you read these words of mine to you.

The stars will now shine a different hue

My Duty
Anecandu Dec 2014
Remember this moment and hallow it my love
that time taketh it not away. Dote each second of its
serendipity, as fleeting as the close of day.
Regale me with all affection, that even in its conception,
It is our greatest reward.
With mired pity I slave in simplicity as its lowliest steward.

Its height is unassailable,
as a castle built on Moats as foundations, each stone requiring
the strength of nations, to shake.
Yet still I quake,
Trembling with bated tongue in your royal presence.
A  fright of such magnificence,
To offer
               my fickle heart
                                           as a stepping stone,

To the gates of happiness, My gilded tongue to shoot bolts
of compliment that fall as natures mist in its decent.
But If I am but a mere feather, in thy velvet cap
My duty would not stop.

Till we dance as leaves of grass on a heather.

There was a smile
Anecandu Jun 2017
There was a smile I found,
In the bushes of my lovers garden mound.

It broke when lifted from its place,
The pieces fed to the elks who graze.

Nibbling softly on my dreams & notions
While drinking  the waterfall of my emotions.

No More Rainbows
Anecandu Sep 2014
Is this the end of something new,
Something of nothing cascading through,
Grinding like graphite brakes to cessation of interaction,
No more love, just dripping remnants of perfect attraction.
So what of the world and its distractions?

And isn’t it ironic, even platonic.
Like daily doubles, we both picked up on it.
Was it our telepathy or just in my eyes alone?
My heart leading, my mind following your spells along,
The cold metal words still ring in my ears like a Tibetan gong.

Your smile had my resistance my barriers to love disarmed,
You said you melted in my arms,
Maybe that’s why my love alone isn't enough for forever,
Forever love on repeat, despite this stormy weather,
Rain without rainbows, wow, isn’t that clever.

But can nothing be something, is that, cunning?
Why did I at that last moment suddenly feel like running?
Running from your touch that made the very earth quake?
Reversing out of your life before daybreak,
Reversing out of your life before I ......break?

Does this gaze away mean we’re done?
Eye contact, a smile, it’s over, we’re gone?
I wished driving away, that in that second I was blind
Wish I never already made love to you in my mind
Wish I could erase …………4 months a week, 2 days of…. time.

Impossible, since your more than a memory
Your etched into the trapezoidal ashlar stonework of my fantasy
With you I felt a transparency, an urgency,
We could be living off what we didn’t need to grow
Now I hold on to what I can’t give back, you love me and I .....know.

Feel my love
Anecandu Dec 2014
Feel my words cocoon and support you as you sleep.
Like the warmth of summer sun walking on concrete.

Your uneasiness melting away like an ice pop in the sun,
Only it’s in your mouth and its fun.
You want to skip and run.

Run out of your shoes escape to misty blues.
Your arms are flying.

The sweetness and contrast of cherry on your lips so wry.
Makes you happy cry. So silent move your hips and why?

To music you can’t hear but you’re so aware.
Somehow your looking up above and see me doting,

Feel my love............................................

Mr. Wind blows with violence
Mr Thunder proud and great
They are roaring like lions
Springing on easy bait

Mrs Lightning twice as worse,
Cracks her whip from the sky,
White and purple is her colour,
Dazzling to the naked eye.

Baby rain with happy feet,
Dance from roof to street
They all compete, but never meet,
Never greet  like neighbours.

Who will be the best disaster
Lightning, rain, thunder, wind,
There is only one master,
let the battle now begin
In collusion with my 11 year old, who hates to write.

My Sky is falling
Anecandu Sep 2014
My Sky was falling, I heard the sounds
The clouds and rainbows crashing down.

The pitter patter in my brain,
Dripping hope falling as rain.

But hope fertilized the pieces of my heart underground
And purple comes bursting from all this brown.

You recycled my heart.
Anecandu May 2019
You recycled my heart.
Glùed the pieces of my affection.
Pointed me in loves direction.
Burnished my senses
Broke down my fences

You would be Queen
Anecandu Jul 2018
I whispered behind sunglasses
like a light wind into my beloved's ear,
But who would be King? her smart retort.
My Lord upon on that chair?

I'd give you a golden palace I said,
She whispered your such a ****,
We'd have to build a great stone wall high,
a fort to keep away all sorts

We walked along the promenade,
past the paisley clad natives in the square
traipsing places of the colourful past
where held once saints in despair.

The bouquets of Jasmine, Rosemary in a porcelain vase
The feeling of a lovers taut hand
The fragrance of the past,
The serenade of violins in a merry band.

I whisper again..................
You would still be Queen.... and the response a sigh
