"Rare"
Anecandu Sep 2014
Like polished diamonds each dimension to you unique
Your so irreplaceable when you speak,
My knees buckle like wheat,
But only under the weight of your smile.

Like a drop of dew in a barren land
Restoring moisture to the sand,
The mustard seed of love in my hand
Is hope’s potential, eternal we can be one

Like a ray of light that burns
at blinding speed as our worlds turn
you’ve reached the core of me
I yearn from across what may as well be eternity

And in the obscurity that remains of the day
Our lives must touch only this way
while passing as a momentary eclipse
I whisper these words from my lips

Rare!

Butterflies
Anecandu Jun 2014
You open your heart and look at me,

I gaze, amazed at loves colours iridescently

Yes I see butterflies,

Frosted crimson, golden lime, royal in splendor,

They have no concerns or gender,

but dance together excitedly at the nectar of your eyes.

You open your mind to my thoughts,

I'm sold and bought, with nothing but your smile as currency.

I stay awhile, unshelled, basking in the rays of your happiness,

Stripped of my fatty pride to straight juicy humbleness

You leave me feverish, just to know you exist.

You opened your ears to my words,

They bend in the wind like Sansevieria swords,

burrowing deep into the part of you that lays dormant and still.

Absorbing and encasing my seeds of love that want to be free,

you whisper light as wind while terraforming for me?

You opened your mouth and spoke

the earth around me shook as I awoke

the soil and stones tangoing with my new roots

nourishing my leaves and blossoming fruits

as I reach up up up to the skies

To meet your beautiful Butterflies

Don't stand so close to me,
Anecandu Sep 2014
She said, don't stand so close to me,
I'm on fire but you cant see,
You play with me we might get burned,
My daddy said that and I've learned

Your mommy said that I'm the reason
If we kiss you'll waste your seasons
Chasing me across the stars
Riding with boys in cars.

Don't stand so close to me.

Love in all its forms.
When bred it swarms.

It warms better than a layered coat.
Floats better than a catamarron boat.

Cling to it when sinking into this abyss called life.
Shed your leaves of strife.

Hold on to its bucking reins
Hold tight despite the pains.

Kick off your boots,
Soak it up like Ginko back to its roots.

But most of all love to love................

Common Air
Anecandu Apr 2019
That we must exist each to complement the universe,
All of us a star from last to first.

In our minute of fame be naught of vain,
For simple reasons esoteric remain.

To break the chain of freedom yet bound by common air.
To climb over our trials to see the sunrise there.

To await and embrace mercy, but judge ourselves of truth,
To brighten every darkness and be forever youth.

The kisses of my Rainbow Princess leave me in bliss.......
I am the perfect picture of "ex static" happiness.

The first warms like the sun on my face when I'm colder,
it keeps me in line like a Chinese Soldier.

The second in my hair makes it curls on end, I sink like a snorkeler  getting the bends.

The third on my neck from brown caramel lips,
so deep I can feel it down in my hips.

The fourth like an Olympic diver off the tip of my nose,
it does a "Triple Lindy" and smells like a rose.

The fifth on my forehead the tongues light protrusion,
just waltzing the edge of my waking confusion.

The sixth in my right ear as sweet as sin, corkscrews in my brain like that plane in "Tailspin".

The last on each eyelid so discrete, softer and lighter than Bambi's deer feet.

And my eyes open................

Between my words
Anecandu Oct 2017
Between my words are meanings punctuated
The intentions obscure yet pontificated.

Between my eyes a repository built to our memory,
Alas the past still as sweet and smooth as honey.

Between my hands the pieces of what love gathered,
Washed clean like sand from my fingertips in a sea of happy.

Between my words is bliss
But without your lips I am east of bliss

Tripping in Trepidation
Anecandu Aug 2016
Love in its pursuit,
its battles and wretched forms,
Has left my scarred heart so deformed.
Back then each decision so clear each episode so dear.
I dove into the deep like a Pelican without fear.
With each withdrawal that my desperate soul has spent.
My spiritual accounts are all the poorer from the net of my emotional investment.

For I bartered away a piece of me,
paying for what I knew was free,
Serendipity was my stupidity.
****** affection my neurotic affliction.
My sense, cents and senses eroded by my addiction.
Gaining affection but lost my mind at the cellular level in its creation.
My compass strayed the ties so frayed each footstep of the climb.
Somewhere along the path I was blind,
"slippery when wet" hmmm ignored that sign.

Tripping in trepidation on my way down to hell.
I sped so fast I ignored the warning bell.
Now remains all the marvelous bounty of the beauty in this history.
How I found them still a mystery.
Those moments my only victories.
They hang about my neck like aging trophies.
As I lay tripped from my trepidation

The Verdict
Anecandu Aug 2016
The case is ready for trial, the Defense braces for war.
I stand accused and pleaded, a prisoner of this Bar
My smile constitutes all my bail but alas is it enough?.
Time treats me like an unpaid Bailiff, it pushes me this way, so rough

The words from the matter stumble, over the ragged edge of my nervous wits.
My pride is like a chafing handcuff, in reality binding my lips
My mind at sea its bow awash gallantly fights the tide,
but waves of emotions overcome and flood as soon as they collide.

Slap! reality hits me on the wrist, It cross examines my heart but I'm still in bliss
Back to the parade of evidence, the judge readying her likely sentence
My closing arguments, is that all my case?. Will you allow my one appeal or scorn me to my face?
I'm left to wrestle with my fate. Left to wait while you deliberate
But there's only one logical verdict for me. I'm guilty in the first degree
Guilty of serendipity.....

"The Gate" (AKA Toll Both)
Anecandu Sep 2016
To the keeper of the city's big gate,
Gives an encouraging smile even when I'm late,
I'm looking forward and around in the traffic, the lane,
Trying to mask my disappointment, of missing you again.

For another face is at the window, surrounded by Blue,
And the next day and the next day after that times two,.
I've almost given up this pact,
Gave up on searching, handed my last and just laid back.

This time I got out early,
Cruising up, mind else where, just 7:30,
Can scarcely believe my eyes,
But there you are, I’m hypnotized.

Reaching out, I'm devoid of what to say or think,
Our time is up in only a blink,
And my dry lips fumble, from ogling, long enough to say,
Sounded something like, “enjoy the rest of today”!.

But if I'm lucky you reward me with another "Casa Blanca" smile,
The kind frozen in time and space of my mind for a while,
As I can only lean and gaze,
Finally rolling away bewildered and dazed.

To nibble on that morsel of memory tucking away what remains,
In the farthest reaches of my over ecstatic brain,
“We’ll always have Paris” I silently strain with refrain,
Until tomorrow when I look for you again.

Love wont waste
Anecandu Nov 2019
Throughout my life my treasure small
Has been the love of someone small

The hands that rested on my waist
that clung to me like carpet base.

A rosy neck I nibbled and pecked
while dancing on a private deck.

A warm hand in the back pocket of my jeans
She knows what true happiness means.

So our love wont ever be a waste
Its the walls, the roof, the furniture the base.

Anecandu Oct 2019
Patent Oxford black and whites
Sparkle like brilliant cut diamonds tonight

Buttoned down ruby shirt well pressed without haste.
A pocketed rose, stiff and ruffled like royal mace.

My bunions basted with powder warm,
Eyes watery like an onion farm.

Her moco skin against glistening pearls, eyes of a cat
Olive chiffon dress, tasseled tails, round feathered cap

Madonna hair, glowing in pigtails like stew
aroma of perfume, something new?

My hands feel heavy, my heart is light
Your hands are warmer than my pockets held tight

Smile that light up a room, searching anti aircraft rays
Tomato lips turn to me and says:

"I feel like dancing"...………………...

Anecandu Jul 2017
Was it the modest perfume or your brushing touch?
Was it necessity or simple lust,

Can I be your oasis of thirst,
Would I be best, average, worst?

Can your smile greet, me awaken me, like sun on my face
I feared serendipity's coldness standing in my place.

Wish I could steal the heaven in your eyes where it lays
hold on to it like Gollum, salting it away for days.

Your words trigger a nuclear reaction in my chest,
My heart explodes daily despite my best,

These thoughts berate me constantly,
But most of all I fear you might love me.

The Quiet Place

I close my eyes in cliché to find
the quiet space inside my mind.

The place where inspiration flows in streams,
to trickle and water my orchard of dreams.

My thoughts transport me there like a Vigo.
to clear my lungs and refill my ego,

The trees of hope and fruits they bare,
brings nectar of custard and worry free air.

I rest and lay my burdens in innocent chaste.
with care clearing ivy from your marble face.

I am in the quiet place.

In Madrid as we walk slowly fast
The present merges with the past,
Our slender hands are coloured Grey.
Laden with treasure but growing empty of feeling.

Hear the time go rushing past in deafening silence,
Pity me who you worship with your love on the speeding train.
I hold your warm hands but sense some coldness there.
Your happy kiss sears my face in this icy breeze of summer.

This is the Seville my lost feet remembers,
The corners of this maze that turns so straight,
The hours of wait that unravel so quickly.
Like silky music entwined with rough sackcloth

Our wealth cheapened by the masterpieces we past.
The enrichment of our minds despite empty pockets,
Eyes that warm our mocha chocolate skin with glares.
As I melt in your arms at the airport on this our last day.

The Call
Anecandu Sep 2016
I wanted to call you again,
Your voice I know will numb the pain,
These heart beats, pounding aloud in my head,
Are they my telephone keys punched instead?

The dial ringing in my ears are like Iron Bells,
Tolling for the loss of our intimacy, me losing your spells,
I carefully grip the receiver cord tightly in my hands,
Like a rock climber dangling from fraying rope strands.

But then when you finally said hello?
My world shattered by that one blow,
My mind fragmented, suspended in multi dimensions,
As our hearts released, like rain, floods of mixed emotions,

I’ve waited so long for you to say three precious words,
Expensive words from those firm sweet lips I once kissed.
Yet now you speak, and your words are amiss,
Because I hear music instead of your voice,
Beautiful to hear, but condemning is your choice,

I’m sentenced to live without your electric impulses,
The loss makes me convulse, as part of me dies
Your heavy breathing and sighs.... replace once gratified cries,
I fail miserably with the charms of my best lies...............

I want the chance to speak to your heart,
Through these cold metal wires rekindle a spark,
To defeat the consuming fate that kept us apart,
Bringing once again love to the fore, to just love you more..........

but for a chance to give myself willingly.

My heart in secret petitions life, in your custody,
A sentence no deliberation, pure gluttony,
Just mercy for larcenry of your thighs,
And all diamonds that sparkle your eyes.

Let this tryst be my crime and punishment,
Shed from me my wooly fleece of innocence,
I plead to be held at your majesty's pleasure,
To cease my torture of uncertain love, forever.

For as I gaze beyond the Ivory bars of your teeth.
captured am I by those warm ruby lips so sweet,
I write these words on your heart with desire,
but you say nary a word, to extinguish this fire.

Onyx Eyes

In a sea of black and brown,
Onyx sparkling eyes are found.
Radiating rays of irridescent light.
Soft against their setting of white.

Pulled together by a pulsating smile,
Turning the cursive corner of the lip.
Melting hearts that flush and shudder,
A touch by an imaginary whip.

Gracefully scanning for a while,
Will they ever look this way.
My mind bequeaths an utter like butter.
The focus erodes and melts away

Onyx Eyes, that piercing gaze.
Warms the face on which it lands.
Onyx Eyes my head is raised,
Time temporal as barefoot in sand.

Onyx Eyes disappearing, turtle doves,
Into the crowded grove, among.
Onyx Eyes the crescendo of the words,
Repeat and beats the notes,..  then gone.
