Oh boy I saw it ...it hurt way bad
the mirror image of old and sad
I thought i was a young guy
just plodding along
and then I saw it and all was wrong

I hated that man that I didnt know
starring back no smile or glow
age had taken youth away

A shock did follow that age had won
it took its time ..now times begun

in the end there was no begining as the start was in sight
yet a new wave of peace came amongst us as bright into light
a corner never seen yet a circle in ...complete
a clear dawn for the few a new world for the rest

the spot on the moon did pass as i saw 3 cats
running in my eyesight running from the black
then I saw a rat.. that jumped in front of me
crossing to the other side ...hungry for its feed

was this a feeling or somewhat memory
of living in the past a previous live in me
or maybe luck was on my side ...the spot on such a moon
a sign from someone looking down.. upon my life of gloom

the sign did make me smile as it all came as one ..
a thought into the future ..a new way looking on
a fog that wouldn clear my eyes had been so long and gone
a new way now into my life ..the old one memories on

Grey fell into the valley ..blown in by our Lord
distance disappeared as waves in the sky took over the land
a storm was brewing..God was angry
an anger about to be unleashed upon this wonderful earth

First came the drops ...splish  splash upon the dry dusty road
one then two then the heavens opened and God cried
pools appeared as dust melted into mud... he was crying hard
wind followed ...faintly at first like a child blowing a kiss then
a wrath of gales lashed this earth like no one had seen or been to before
and God cried some more

Clouds of grey formed into black as day became night
the grey was now a black and God roared with a growl that shook the earth
yet his crying never stopped as wind,rain and thunder made us hide within our home
his sign was here ... our signal found  

time we changed our ways
time we loved this earth
time we took a hold
time we listened to our hearts

We understood the rules as the black faded away
the air suddenly became so fresh a new spring was on its way
a rainbow fell up out the sky... a sign that we all knew
dance to the sound of the blackbirds voice a new day has become

The grey

My darkness turned as grey refomed and night became the day
this world outside ...
my grey out and loud
madness amongst the followers as lies spread on lies
yet we all do take it ....
and live a greyness life
