Bows N' Arrows
The wave that crashed
my soul
The seashells bedecked in gold
The mess I couldn't erase
with every trace of constellations
pulsated a face
And the day gone black
under a bedsheet
Wine spilled on a cuffling
The longing for drizzle
and rain
The levitation from the
Earth like tripping windowpane
A watchtower showing you home
You are the well I'm crawling
down
( To float in the clearlight )
The alchemy and sigils in stone
A voice that mumbles
in my sound ears when I'm alone.
I blame Lord Byron for my romanticism, he often wrote on laudanum.
my sacred
electromagnet
pulses white light
then vanishes into black

strobing me blind
as fragile fingers feel
along walls for doors
stumbling over furniture

wick flickering
flame dance
amid changeling winds
is side-flip of vivid
awesomely augmented
projection blissings

sated seraphims spin
atop agile toes

but so do
voracious villains

those ******* link arms
and do-si-do

spinning you
wrong 'round

fear dealers
doling out
bunk doses

I keep
throwing up palms
like whoawhoawhoa
not now - got **** to do
inside the ******' zone

ego seen-through
crushmoded
torpedoing gravity
shredding the air
increasing rumble roars
through pits of me

defying gauzy grey
cold wet blankets
shivering dim
and then

the sun

cosmic pyre
radial aglow

we harpoon myst
as clouded ceiling morphs
into billowy cotton net
beaconing warmth

apprehension subsides
into eyes wide wonder

all frosted baby blue
and expansive roads
from here

can't succumb
to turbulent thrums
breathe on through

'cause I wanna
be the view

mile-high throb
direct to home
Oh Reggae tree, oh Reggae tree
Your leaves so dank and sticky
Reggae tree, oh Reggae tree
Oh how we love to smoke thee

Sellassi I, his gift to me
Be this tree from Mary

Oh Reggae tree oh Reggae tree
Mary Jane is lovely
I hope every poet out here had a lovely reggae holiday season whatever you celebrate
