I see you
and the moments pass so quickly
I take hold as you slip away
Time is tricky
Forever in a day
A day can last forever
All that's left is to remember
I begin to play with the clock's levers
Out of control
Too bold
Too desperate
I just want you now
Now that it's passed
Why can't I grasp impermanence?
Denying the ticks of illusions
Explosive tears can't drain this longing
This sense of belonging
Take some more of my breath
Plus the hours I've spent pondering transitory periods
It's my curse and the curse of most women
Holding onto fairytales
From childhood dreams
Of princesses and thieves
My hearts been stolen from my sleeve
and hung out to bleed
Watch as the blood hits my paper
and savor your conquer
As I wonder aimlessly
Aging painfully
The night gave off an uneasiness
There was a static storm looming
I closed my eyelids in eagerness
Hoping for sleep to consume the feeling

I saw him walking beside me
A memory endlessly creeping in
Once again his step falls behind me
Filling me with pain and panic

I turn almost instinctually
Grasping a blade tightly in hand
Striking him with unnerving velocity
A reoccurring dream of killing him
What do I mean to her
can somebody please let me know
what do I mean to you
does anyone even know
you say you're impossible to love
you say who could love a mass of flaws like you
you say that you don't know if you love me
well I can say that I know just how I feel about you
and I know that
no matter how much I write for you
I can't change you're mind
I'm just not right for you
but when have I ever given up
on what I love
never tell yourself that someday you'll be perfect
don't lie to yourself
never tell yourself that someday you'll just grow out of it
I want you to see the truth
you're perfectly imperfect
so please don't say
that you won't make it to the next day
I'll always be here for you
so don't think that I'm just so perfect
I'm no better than anyone else
and don't think
I'll abandon you
when you need me the most
so please don't cry
or I might show
that I'm really a sensitive guy
so please don't dream of being better
than you always will be
because you're already the best
and please tell me if I'm being annoying
I'll try my best not to be
but I don't like to break promises
so stop focusing on your flaws
and focus on the things you love about yourself
and if you can't think of anything
ask someone to list them with you
and don't try to deny it
you can't spell Imperfect
without I'm Perfect...
Things won't stop falling
won't stop breaking or slowly cracking
everything shattering into a million pieces
flying everywhere and never found again to put back together
or fixed to be new again
I won't stop falling
I won't stop crashing into this bottomless pit of depression and sorrow that nips deep down into my bones
I'm falling
I'm crashing
I'm way too deep to stop falling or crashing down into what feels forever
I have to stop it
stop it the only way I know how to
Dex this poem had nothing to do with you it was everything else that did it.
Her
Your eyes
So deep, mysterious, left me mesmerized
I could get lost within their dark depths
I try to breathe, but they leave me without breath
I was so young, still had yet to know of the expedition
That my heart, so youthful, would soon partake in

I wish I'd never looked at you
Or, into you
For whatever reason, your whole being captivated me
Such grace, such splendor, such beauty
So oblivious to reality whenever my eyes wandered idlelessly to your own
So robotic, the feelings always left me blown

I was so scared of the love I felt
Scared to show it
Afraid to be close to you, no matter how much my heart yearned for the comfort of your aura
Afraid that with one innocent touch of our elbows from the rocking of our school desks
Love would be unleashed, it's selfish wrath suffocating, latched on like a pest

To do this day, I'm still afraid
I hope, to God, that she'll never change
All though, I know, my love will never change
And to this day
She leaves me in awe, with her perfection, yet my thoughts leave me in dismay
I'll never admit to her, that she's the reason I cry everyday
She's the reason I breathe, yet she's the one who seems to ****** it out of my lungs
She's the reason I want to live, and she's the reason I want to die
I hate her.
But I love everything about her.
