I still remember the day we first met
You gave me a marker, and I asked for your name
I still remember the day we became friends, and you let me in close
I still remember the days we'd walk together in the halls
I still remember when you'd smile at me
I still remember when we'd text forever
I still remember I'd tease you
And you'd tease me
I still remember, and I want those days to continue
But can they still go on, it's up to you
I still remember though
Even if you don't

How long does it take for passion to be put out?
For a friendships fire to stop lighting the way?
Or for the flame of life to burn everything to ash?
Some people are strong enough to walk through this painful flame we call life....
I often wonder if I am too
My friends are strong enough
And so are my enemies
The flame burns many people
But it burns some more than others
Can I walk through this flame of life?
Yes, I hope
I will be burnt
But I'll also be burning

Friendship is as fleeting as leaves on a tree
It'll blossom as flowers do in the spring
It'll sometimes last an eternity, through life and death.
However sometimes the leaves fall from a tree and rot
Sometimes flowers wither and die
And sometimes death comes to quickly for life to matter.
But through the rotting leaves, and the withering flowers, and the ugliness of death
New bonds are formed
New friends are made
And old friendships blossom once more
So don't be sad
It's not the end
It's only the beginning

Once upon a time there was a young, blind, and foolish boy
One day the boy got a text from a friend, saying she had a crush in him
The boy thought it was too good to be true
So the boy tried to go on dates with her and give her gifts
But alas it was too good to be true
Because not even a week later
She told him that she had found a boyfriend
And that she had changed her mind about liking him
The boy was left in pieces
So he then made a desicion
He picked up the pieces of a broken spirit
And steeled his emotions
And promised I promised myself
I would not make the same mistake twice
I will never give my love to anyone

I see her looking at me
in the halls of the school
With her long dark curls
and coffee brown eyes
She talks to me forever
as she tries to figure me out
And one might think it is a...
simple teenagers crush
Because she is beautiful
and everyone thinks that I'll fall in love
But I won't
Not because I'm stubborn
But because I've seen what she does to men
Dates them for a few days
Weeks, months, and some, even years
Then stomps on their hearts
with the old classic
' I'm sorry it's just not working out'
She's dated almost everyone without a lover
And now it's my turn?
No, she can't have me
And I'll crush my own heart
Before I give it to her

Alone we are afraid
Fearful of what could could happen
Together we have courage
The bravery it takes to stand
Alone we are sad
Miserable of tragedies
Together we are happy
Taking all we have to smile
Alone we are lonely
Together
We have eachother

Go to sleep
And dream
Dream of those who are close....
Dream of what you have
And what you wish you could have......
Close your eyes
See yourself afloat in space
Or in a marine sea
Climbing the tallest mountain
Or digging to the core of this Earth
Dream of friends and family
Dream of who you love
Or cry in the memory of those lost to you
Sleep soundly
Or Dream passionately
You always dream
Even if you don't remember them
