The time has come for you and I
To place our lives where time abides
Consider this my letting go
Of all the weight of 'I don't know'
I'm here right now because of you
And what our Love has put us through
My eyes behold you crystal clear
I hope eternally, my dear
And if I fall or slip away
Please take my hand just like today
We made a vow, each other's now
And all its grace will show us how
To keep our stride in perfect step
Forever waits, we've only met
for my best friend on her wedding day
you’ll find me
on the streets
offering love to strangers
reaching out with my arms
with sweet words
bubbling out of my lips
but when you hug me
in relief
at having found me
I will recoil
scream
look at you
with wild eyes
and fear
wondering
who you are
my love
because
like a beast
I am afraid of fire
and I will try to hide it
behind my own flame
which offers no warmth
to anyone
and
you will wonder
where I have gone
and eventually you will
realize that I haven’t
gone anywhere
and you will
leave me there
to fend off the cold
in my own ways
and take your love
to someone not so
much a cowering
beast
I gathered myself from four winds when you first awoke in this life; As you opened yourself to the world, the center of the universe held it's breath in awe; When you wrote your first poem, in the depths of Heaven, angels cried for joy

Your spirit has journeyed through greater spaces than your body; You followed your soul and came to the East, the heart of faith awaiting your return; How many nights have you wandered these long roads upon a camel and your courage?

I first knew of you in my dreams, mere feelings in an ocean of feelings; And yet, before you had been conceived, I had walked with your soul through the streets of Babylon; I knew you a hundred lifetimes before the Towers fell beneath the wait of our folly;

When the world was still green and young, when our whole life was nothing but fireflies and honeysuckle; When the height of a summer's day gave us hope for the people; That old shaman, hy heart, bid me hasten unto you, and your quiet peace;

I met you in the robes of a ***** on the road to damascus; my soul broken, my heart tired, my faith nearly a dead thing, you brought me back from despair.
And because love battles
not only in its burning agricultures
but also in the mouth of men and women,
I will finish off by taking the path away
to those who between my chest and your fragrance
want to interpose their obscure plant.

About me, nothing worse
they will tell you, my love,
than what I told you.

I lived in the prairies
before I got to know you
and I did not wait love but I was
laying in wait for and I jumped on the rose.

What more can they tell you?
I am neither good nor bad but a man,
and they will then associate the danger
of my life, which you know
and which with your passion you shared.

And good, this danger
is danger of love, of complete love
for all life,
for all lives,
and if this love brings us
the death and the prisons,
I am sure that your big eyes,
as when I kiss them,
will then close with pride,
into double pride, love,
with your pride and my pride.

But to my ears they will come before
to wear down the tour
of the sweet and hard love which binds us,
and they will say: “The one
you love,
is not a woman for you,
Why do you love her? I think
you could find one more beautiful,
more serious, more deep,
more other, you understand me, look how she’s light,
and what a head she has,
and look at how she dresses,
and etcetera and etcetera”.

And I in these lines say:
Like this I want you, love,
love, Like this I love you,
as you dress
and how your hair lifts up
and how your mouth smiles,
light as the water
of the spring upon the pure stones,
Like this I love you, beloved.

To bread I do not ask to teach me
but only not to lack during every day of life.
I don’t know anything about light, from where
it comes nor where it goes,
I only want the light to light up,
I do not ask to the night
explanations,
I wait for it and it envelops me,
And so you, bread and light
And shadow are.

You came to my life
with what you were bringing,
made
of light and bread and shadow I expected you,
and Like this I need you,
Like this I love you,
and to those who want to hear tomorrow
that which I will not tell them, let them read it here,
and let them back off today because it is early
for these arguments.

Tomorrow we will only give them
a leaf of the tree of our love, a leaf
which will fall on the earth
like if it had been made by our lips
like a kiss which falls
from our invincible heights
to show the fire and the tenderness
of a true love.
I am not jealous
of what came before me.

Come with a man
on your shoulders,
come with a hundred men in your hair,
come with a thousand men between your ******* and your feet,
come like a river
full of drowned men
which flows down to the wild sea,
to the eternal surf, to Time!

Bring them all
to where I am waiting for you;
we shall always be alone,
we shall always be you and I
alone on earth
to start our life!
I hear words, but they're silent
Like the dead of the night
Do I make a noise?
As a falling tree
That no one can see?
I have no eyes to perceive
So I'm blind with no dog
But I am a dog
That goes back to his *****
I am the acid of a stomach
The putrid ferment
Of rotted nutrients
I'm the belly of the dead
A corpse is my being
So I am the one in a casket
Death is where I stand
Here I am Hear me now
Or don't, I don't.
Like a deaf bird with no ears
I fly without guidance
I'm hunted by the beast
Bang. Bang.
I was shot. I'm dropping
I hit the ground
Eaten.
By the savage devil
Satan is my name
I am the hell you see
Or possibly the heaven
I've fed your empty self
I'm vacuous though
Your filled with air now
But I won't have you breathe
Because your deceased now
Just like me
We're friends now right?
Ashes of the flaming leaves
We reek of decayed winter
There is no spring
So rest away my darling
Love is not here
We are not alive
Not real.
The end.

she licked her lips, tasted a pinch of salt.
"i’m not like other girls"
isn’t that what every other girl says?
****** bambi eyes, eyelashes curled in a q.
he drinks until she cries, scared she will be
shot. imagine pretty little petals upon pretty little
thighs.
"i’m not like other girls"
ringlets, hair bouncing waves upon waves upon
ocean, sea, tidal
waves.
he smokes until she dances, in circles, through
vapors, underneath a table that holds too much
quick *** and liquor.
"i’m not like other girls"
and he could have said, “i’m not like other boys”
but he was broke, in denial, in and out of love, in and out of
hotel rooms.
words sound so much more appealing in darken
rooms.
"no, bambi dear, no you’re not."
