I see your light
I feel your heart
I can sense the
Healing light
That flows from you
Flows from your soul
Bathing you in its
Life giving glow
I see your wings
Shining bright
Allowing you
To fly the highest heights
Soaring into the sky
Flying above everyone else
Sharing your light
And your love
And your healing energy
With everyone around you

The storm is coming
The river is rising
It is rising quicker
By the minute
Washing away
Everything in it's path
Its easy to get swept away

There is no where to run
No where to hide from the storm
That is coming your way

I think we could use
A little more grace
And mercy these days
We are justice driven
Wanting justice for this
And wanting justice for that
We persecute and judge
We don't stop to think
About the person
We are persecuting
We get so fixated
On punishing people
For their actions
Instead of looking
At the real person
We stop seeing
The humanity
Behind the person
Driven by our biases
And our preconceived ideas
About who that person is
We need to step away
From this type of thinking
And start to see the person
Seeing the person in the street
Who doesn't have a home
Looking into the eyes of a stranger
And understanding where they are coming from
Feeling that hurt and pain in your heart at knowing
That your fellow man is hurting and suffering instead
Of turning a blind eye to the injustices that are going on
Day by day because if you continue to show apathy and judge
Your fellow man you are forgetting god's greatest commandment
Love thy neighbor as you would love yourself and treat them accordingly

We struggle
Against the love
We often feel
Like we don't
Deserve to be loved
Every body wants it
Every body deserves it
We all are loved in our own ways
When the love expands in your heart
You can truly begin to love yourself
Accepting yourself completely and wholly
Seeing the beauty for yourself and accepting
The ever growing love, beauty, light,  and peace
Love yourself
Don't ever forget
We all are free in

We all have that deep love inside
That deep love that tells us we are whole
That inner innocence and peace
That voice inside that says we are beautiful
We are all searching for that love and light
We just have to look inside our hearts
