A bag of dreams
And a shot of freedom
Is all we really need
Instead of that
We have a bag
Full of shiny things

And we fight each day
For an unknown reason
The demons of our past
There is no break
Nor a time for rest
We fight until the last

As the days go by
And the autumn comes
It seems though
our lives have passed us by
We try to empty
The bag of greed
And fill it with our dreams

It’s not that easy
As one could tell
The bag is bigger than we are
The empty thing
Will never come
If we don’t know
Who we are

So we take some time
To make some peace
With the past and present too
To find a way to the
Worthy things
And make our dreams come true

A bag of dreams
And a shot of freedom
Is all we really need
To mend our wounds
And fill our days
With life without greed

I am falling
Like the leaf
Of an unborn tree
That has yet
To bloom
Like the drop of rain
Inside the sea
That has yet
To climb its way
I am falling
Like the cup of tea
That hasn't made it
To the kettle
Like that time
When I broke my heel
I am falling into you

From time to time
I drift away
Down by the sea
And let the waves
Break my shields
And set my spirit
Free

It's not that easy
But I like the way
They cleanse my soul
They wash away
My countless sins
And heal me
As I go

From time to time
I drift away
With my spirit free
And I take a flight
Just at night
For in my dreams
I could see

From time to time
I drift away
Wishing you were too
It would be nice
To share a dream
With a drifter
Such as you

As I fall asleep
Each night
I let the dreams
Take me home
Where I feel
Like a colored cloud
Over forest
Full of lime trees
Where she dances
Like the breeze
On an August night,
I surrender
To the shades
Of her soul
And the scent
Of her passion
That makes me burst
Into particles of light
Oh how I love the night
Oh how I love my dreams
When I am there
I can kiss her
Any time I please

There are many shades
That make a man
Some are white
Others black

Some are wild
Like the sea
Others soothing
Like cup of tea

I met a yellow
And I met red
I met men
When they were sad

I met pink
Like a princess dress
Some were gold
More or less

I met green
They never grew
Some were purple
Others blue

But I've never met the shades of you

On a distant beach, I see you
Smiling to the sea
As the mellow rays of sunshine
Fall upon thee

On a distant mountain, I see you
Smiling at the road
As the dancing clouds
Take away your load

Loving with your heart
Singing with your soul
Kissing with your lips
Melting as you go

It's not that distant future
When you close your eyes
Before you fall asleep
Under starry skies

They told me I should
I didn't listen
They told me I can
I didn't care
They told me to do
Told me to go
Told me a lot
You know
things that start
With must or ought

They told me I shouldn't
I didn't listen
They told me I can't
I didn't care
They told me I'll never
Told me to stop
Told me a lot
You know
things that start
With no or not

They told me
But it was just a noise
I chose me
And my own voice
