Hug
I hope you can feel it

My burst of energy
I send it to you.

I hope you can feel it
To be desired
To be craved
Lavished
Explored
Smelled
Tasted
Sweet new relationship energy

- Polyamory
White shirt
Meet
Coffee stain
So perfectly placed under my lip
As if there was a leak in the seal.

White shirt
Meet
Spaghetti sauce
Splattered as if your blade hit
Me in the most perfect way

White shirt
Meet
A full face of makeup
On your perfectly bleached collar

White shirt
Meet
White shirts
Do enjoy the perfectly tempered water
As it washes all of the sins placed upon
All of you.
Baby, can't you see me?
See me here waiting
Waiting for you to understand
Understand why I love you
I love you for your humor, your love
You love, your mind - you.

Did you ever think
Think I'm not the only one?
The only one who know you care
Care about love, life, happiness
Happiness that turns into hate
Hate that makes you feel
Feel sad, lonely, unloved, hurt
Hurt, maybe feel some sympathy?

Youre not the only one hurting
Hurting other people isn't okay
Okay yo talk about, but hurting someone
Someone else so you don't feel
Feel so upset about who hurt you
You, babu, know it doesn't have to be this way.

2012 I was navigating grade 8 and have continued on adoring the art of poetry since. This poem has had many different meanings over the years.
I do hope it fines you well. I'm excited to explore more communities within the arts.
Would you still love me

- Seeking Affirmations
If I had a voice I would tell you how proud I am of you
I would tell you all the things you wished you could hear the pasts, well, years.
I would speak to you oh so softly that you would catch yourself correctly yourself.
I would stop and doubt myself if I had a voice or if its in my head.

If I had a voice I would tell you what my friends call me,
Reliable,
Vibrant,
That loud one over there.
They would speak about the volume of my brightness, and the magic behind my hands, the light in my eyes which i shine upon them when they need it the most.

If I had a voice I would tell you who I thought I was before now,
I would tell you about the struggles, the lectures, the rebuilding, the strength behind it.
I'd highlight my character throughout my stories, so you won't miss me when I shine pass

If I had a voice I would tell you how it only gets better and better
And to soft so you enjoy while I'm here, so you don't miss my light
Welcome back old friend
