A day to celebrate Love
An emotion that starts with oneself
And then radiates outwards
To all those that we love

Oneself, concentrically existing
Extending our Love
Radiating like ripples
Circles growing bigger and bigger

When we can embrace one closest to us
Meaning us
And then the one next to us
We bring harmony to our own environment

While we cannot reach everybody
But with a smile and love in our heart
Maybe we can change a few
And bring harmony to them

So, on this day that celebrates Love
I wish you a Very Happy Valentine's Day
May Love permeates all that you are
And all that surrounds you.

What Will Happen If

The Human specie disappeared

The earth will still revolve around its axis
Causing day and night on its surface
The planet will still elliptically circle the sun
Causing the seasons, life's nourishment
The rain will still fall, and the rivers flow
The plants will still grow and fruit and flower
The birds will still sing, and the insects hum
Mammals and the animals will still roam amid
The forests that will still lushly cover the land
The oceans, where the life began, will churn
Continuing with its amazing eco system
Of abundant blue green algae, krill and coral
Teaming with microbes, fish and mammals
Life will continue to evolve with each passing day
Causing birth and rebirth and survival above all
And upon extinction of one, others will be born

Alas! The annihilator, we humans are still here

What Will Happen If .... II

The human species disappeared

The scars left on its surface
And the deep cuts in its belly
Man made structures untended
And mass **** of its valleys
Will be healed by the specie
That allowed others to survive
Though it itself was tortured
By uncontrolled greed and drive

Left behind those timid species
Bred for food and pleasure
Will soon succumb to predators
For no longer pampered as treasure
Those that were caused to go extinct
Regrettably, can no longer be revived
The only solace one can muster,
Those left behind, multiply and survive

Towering structures and machines
Caused by bleeding the land
Show as pock marks on the surface
Over time devoured, where they stand
Left behind also those petro-products
That will take eons to disintegrate
Being absorbed in soils and oceans
Causing survivors pain to regenerate

Choking gasses will immediately cease
Giving survivors a chance and comfort
While the imprint of humans left behind
Eventually crumbling to dust and dirt
As Earth, instantaneously starts to heal
It's amazing, a tiny specie called man,
Even as new eco-system come into play
Caused such destruction, in short span

Earth will instantaneously start to heal
Surviving species taking only their need
And eventually balance will be restored
As future be devoid of man and greed

Winter of life

In the warmth of the afternoon Sun
And the chill in the air
I look at the green
And wonder about those not here

The menagerie of movement
That I saw in the spring, summer and fall
Is not vibrant no more
For the lack of outstanding invitations or call

In the season of winter
There is a little sadness after all
Most everybody is regenerating
For spring, summer and fall

There is no reason for dismay, my friends
For like cycles in seasons, are cycles in life
While some moments are trying,
Most are full of promise and smiles.

It is easier to bear, the winter of life
Knowing no matter how hollow
The blooms of happiness
Will soon follow

So learn from the nature
Take it, a moment at a time
Don't be disheartened
Know that soon you shall shine.

ज़िन्दगी, वक़्त की एक सीडी बन के रहे गई, ज़िन्दगी, वक़्त की एक सीडी बन के रहे गई,
पीछे मुड़ के देखा तो, पीछे मुड़ के देखा तो एक अन्धेरी सुरनग बन के रहे गइ,
ज़िन्दगी, वक़्त की एक सीडी बन के रहे गई,

सोचूँ, अभ में सोचूँ, आगे कहा तक चलना है, सोचूँ, अभ में सोचूँ आगे और क्या क्या करना है
वक़्त एक एसी जनजीर है, वक़्त एक एसी जनजीर है जिसकी कड़ीया गिनना मुमकिन नहीं,
ज़िन्दगी, वक़्त की एक सीडी बन के रहे गई,

बचपना अभ याद नहीं जिसमें खेले थे और पले थे, जवानी वो भूल गए जिसमें सीखे थे और बड़े हुए,
वक़्त एक एसी दलदल है, वक़्त एक एसी दलदल है जिसकी खाई से निकलना मुमकिन नहीं
ज़िन्दगी, वक़्त की एक सीडी बन के रहे गई,

इस सुरनग के अन्धेरे से कैसे निकला जाए, आगे भी तो कोई रोशनी नहीं दिखाई दे रही
वक़्त की परछाईं में ज़िन्दगी गुज़र गई, भुडापा नहीं, अबतो किसी और का इन्तज़ार है
