At times like these, I wish I could believe in a god.
I wish I could believe in anything
be it mortal,
or ethereal,
or omnipotent,
so long as it could give answer to my prayers.
At times like these, I look to the sky for answers
but the stars have long disregarded my questions
for I have looked too high
or too far
or too long
and now they are eternally silent.
At times like these I try to look into myself
to see if what once was is entirely gone,
to see if the stars have stopped speaking
or if I just forgot how to listen.
