I am truly burdened
Sean Grimes Jul 2021
This pain in my head does not subside
The laughter and screams carousel blindingly
A dark murmur presents flesh

You cannot suppress the darkness
There is no light
And I dine on your soul
But the burning rage beating to a beautiful melody of torture

So I stare
And walk
And repress
And hold
And breath
Into brief requiem of death blinks back into reality

I am home
I am alone
And I think of the (THEE)
For I am clouded
And can spare no expense
And I toll in head when my heart cries for
the (THEE)

You wish to know beauty
You wish to know pain
You wish to seek light
You wish to exist in black
You wish to throb at the heavy, heavy beating of your heart
You wish it stopped
You wish to be
You can no longer feel

Nothing matters
And we’re back again
Blink in
Forget all
We are here and now
Because mountains crush down
Goodnight
Farewell
And a pleasant one again.

The Voices
Sean Grimes Jul 2021
Know thy sound, of barriers bound
the voices come to play.
In horrendous round, what will be found
a little boy trapped away.
He will be gowned, he will be crowned
to put on a show today.
In mask he clowned, with words profound
to make the people stay.
his heart is wound, listen to it pound
darkness consumes the day.
when around, the noises compound
time has come to pay.
For on this mound, his mind has drowned
the voices, they slay.

Who am I?
Sean Grimes Mar 2019
Seek help and strive it.
Be help and bleed for it.
You are none but survive it.
You are one yet you are all of it.
Who am I but none of it.
Sean Grimes Mar 2019
From black and brace strings lightning plank
Walking lines of dimming lights.
With ease eyes fade in eternal sea
Carousal bottomless pit of familiarity.

Hands hold fighting ****** brevity
Flight of Soul’s simple longevity

Fog of gray
Bring dusk and dawn
For those who stray
Must blend immiscible,
Or you will pay
And parish hollow.

Born to old warm then cold
We find familiar footing
Last gasp past flash our legacy and crown
The wisdom bestowed on you

GlobEmotion
Sean Grimes Mar 2019
Days are not always good, this I know.
They are not always as good as you make them to be.
You feel.
Like an ocean that is much larger than the surface interfaced on.
Beneath, yet so much more and in reality our entire being.
Churn, chop and flow like the waves in water.
Typhoon, tsunami and hurricane your way through life.
Tranquil glistening upon perfectly still seas.
Life will pull you under.
Grasp at surface.
Grow gills and breathe.
Conquer depths, bloom a beautiful bounty from below.
Soar higher into the sky like never before.
And crash.
And burn.
And be forsaken again.
And run mill of emotion.
And I will be there for you.
For I will be there too.
I will.

Most days I do not take in the light of the day
It feels like it’s been years since I’ve left that warm embrace
It is the hour of gone
The time of solace which I know best
It is better to be unheard in the dark
Than alone in the light

Who is this even for?
Sean Grimes Dec 2018
Oh it’s all so surreal till the air gives out and the eyes blink in
You, you resurface in unpleasant reaffirmation
The dull smooths over
I don’t know pain
It is present
Play me out
Make it jazz

Happy birthday
Sean Grimes Nov 2018
It’s my birthday.
The day I became whole
Through growth
Break
Luster and fall
I have surpassed
And I will advance
succumb to non-all
I have done my days work
And the day has risen
It is my birthday
The day I became whole
Today I am empty.

Moon in the sky
Sean Grimes Nov 2018
Why does time pass so much more easily for her
How do the waves of my vast ocean
not tug back at her shore
As I’m called out to sea
Grains of your sand crawling away from me
The tide will never turn again, yet
Time and time against current
Dive head forth

In the dominion that is my domain
lies a flame of damnation
With Wickedness to no blame
It reigns true
Perfected in design
Plain to see
Yet It Contains
Infinite complexity.

Spooky Halloween poetry!
Sean Grimes Oct 2018
Lone ride down hillside
Gaze home with hope to atone
Ride high atop a sinners throne
Coming to sight ominous light
Black horse set a course
It wants you dead you can feel the dread
Pray for bed this is all in your head
His is missing so he’ll take yours instead!
Muahahhaha!
Burning down bridges
He’s not here for gold
Run for the ridges
Your fate is fortold
Shelter your weak, your young and the old
The HeadlessHorsman rides.

Moonlight
By grave sight
On a Stormy night
A waterfall
Down Boxed flow
On deaths row
Lightning crack
Caped in black
Come to attack
Zoooooooombiesssssss!
Braaaaaaaaaainnnnnsssss!
Grrrrrggggguaaah!

Eye of newt and tongue for trouble,
We want this potion to bubble!
Add string of courage from champions bow, and a drop of blood from blackest crow.
Boiled down box of plague rat stew
Oh yes only the finest, not anything will do!
Good ones keep vial of angel tears on hand
One drop to keep away beats of a murderous band.
Once it’s thick black sludge we knows for sure
This is what we drink
A witches hangover cure!
2spooky4me!

I remember
When I was a god
Stroke forth bound across celestial pools
I reigned cosmos
Beheaded armies

I remember
When blackness hid behind me
Light port born adore radiant bodies
I created
Molded

I remember
When they trapped me in this body
Stone mold trap confined soul
I rage against
Destined fate
Whilst most of my writing gravitates around the body I have long neglected the Soul. I believe souls carry over and mine wishes to tell it’s tale.

Picture this
Sean Grimes Oct 2018
Beauty lies readily for those that open their eyes to the revelry.
Take part in the magic of majestic menagerie.
Behold in plain sight everything that is there.
But you can’t stop to capture what makes up the air.
