Are we living or leaving life?
I want to theorise life in concrete terms, but I'm not sure where to begin. The beginning appears to have never happened, yet the end seems tantalisingly close. I don't understand, really.
The letter you wrote for me has arrived. It's wet. I'm not sure what made it wet—your tears or the rain that poured along the way. It cannot be read. But I'm curious which of my two conclusions would please you.
In your eyes,
Beholds many secrets,
Smothered with fake smiles.

I looked for you in the universe,
On earth,
Under the depth of the ocean,
Until I found you,
In the abode of my heart.
I will wait for you
Always in my heart.
15/8/2023.
My alarm rings,
Thankfully, again I descend to the bustop of a new dawn.
My eyes wide open,
To see the magic of another morning,
My mind at ease,
Ready to accept the challenges of a new day,
Eager to face the surges of possibilities,
Breaking on the horizon of dawn.
The beauty of the sunrise,
Hued with the colours of my goals,
Awaits my hunger,
The new dawn will bring.
17/8/2023
during a quiet, warm twilight
with angels whispering
in our ears

we ran around the dogwood tree
and collected lightening bugs
in a glass jar
that lit up our dark night
our small world

that tiny flickering
mortal fire

living lamps
floating
flashing
in a glass jar

and the angels whispering in our ears
and all we knew was love
Scintillating lights softly dancing with the moon
dreamy music playing from the halls of our memory
this is your story and this is mine
Tall willowy blades of grass leaning gently towards hills
midnight fantasies that calm our weary minds
this is your place and this is mine
Secrets of lives yet untold beneath the honest stars
each thought becomes a healing bless of joyful rest
this is your moment of glory and also mine
Glide with me towards tomorrow leave behind all sorrow
join the magic of night's journey and come away with me
this is your story, and it is also mine.
