Sin Sin
alone again
remember, remember
alone with him
this place, this face
the giving in
taste distaste
retracing the Sin

Sitting again upon my throne
Cracked crown of the Forgotten
Hell found me all alone...

       broken.

I hear the breeze of days gone by
with the whisper of long days, long nights
   and with a sigh,
I strain for the echos, the signs
of loves lost, of games played
of all the grass and dirt and grimes.
   Remember the times?
Merry-go-rounds and nursery rhymes?
That one first kiss that opened your eyes?
To the world of our minds, our maze
couldn't make out the beginning or the end
    of those days
To no surprise,
They're comprised....of swing sets and slides,
    jump ropes and bikes
and just when it was the end of the day,
the wind blows the smell of freedom your way.
Barbecues, fires, and the onset of night
to remind us of the times when everything was right.
   What a sight!
As the grass and trees rustle in the wind
   remember these days,
Of coloring books and crayons, markers and paint
paper planes, plastic trains, and origami flowers so quaint
running around so long that the blue in our jeans had gone...
    faint.

Back then, our friends lived close and the games we played
in the sandbox and blacktops left us drained
So we sat on the hill and let the wind give us chills
under the trees, in the shade, from the heat we were saved
   So much time was killed!
And yet, we were thrilled...
when our birthdays came,
and our family came,
and our presents came,
And we never felt lame, playing the same games
Making silly names, growing pains
Kissing Jane and dancing in the rain....

And as the wind blows through the silt
and the echos pass us by,
Cry!
For the whispers of the wind have taken flight
Reach out and hold on with all your might
as it is on these memories that your spirit can again fly

I watched something simple go
deep within your soul
to the place where the seeds of fairness grow
you kneeled upon the ground
as I gazed with eyes of stone
your fingers dug the earth,
watching with utter curiosity
as you counted the seeds you stole
All's fair in love 'n war, or so I am told
But I just watched you plant these seeds
And I have seen where they have been sown
You made it seem to the outside world
that these seeds were randomly strewn
As if a wind had blown across the plane
and had blown these seeds away
As if hungry birds returning to their nests
and had spilled some along the way
But I know
Because I saw where they were placed
cleverly paced, precisely spaced
interlaced
yet you are unfazed
and I discovered why
for your 'kindness' isn't kind
but is just bread crumbs to be retraced
Hanzel and Gretel's trail of bad taste
All so you can point back one day
and rub it in someones face
But I'll keep your secret to myself
dark and all alone
because if I show this to someone else
I'll just be called paranoid and a crone
Just know that one day when your face is smiling
and your picture being shown
I'll make sure that you can see what I hold deep inside
by reciting this little poem

I watched something simple go
deep within your soul
to the place where the seeds of fairness grow
And I saw what you stole

With my back pressed firmly against the wall
I heard a whisper amidst the winds
It sounded enticing, but something was wrong
The words were jumbled and the tone was bumbled
as they ran through the grass, the notes stumbled
and tumbled,
from trees as they fell with the rustling leaves
the bustling breeze
the hustling freeze, stuck on off toned keys
singing, bleeding, screaming
until I was begging please, please
For voice of the ****** from it's own hoise
and became nothing but noise
that struggled to find poise against my stonewall soul

When these words are spoken
this much is true
Their letters speak of actions
that always get through
It's sounds invoke feelings
that cheer the deepest blues
It's whispers produce sensations
turning beauty a yearning hue
Their meaning is always absolute
ringing an infinite tune
And our hearts will yell these words
I LOVE YOU!

Twisting thoughts of a bed left yearning
Stretching across sheets that thirst for a touch
Embracing blankets that cover your naked body
Taunting ****** outlines begging for me to clutch
Beckoning pillows call out as they frame a pretty face
Wandering thoughts as a dimming light begins the learning

Twisting, I shed the clothes left yearning
Stretching sheets smile as they accept my touch
Embracing blankets warm me with the heat of your body
Taunting shapes shift from two to one under a lover's clutch
Beckoning lips begin to prepare for the reception of your beautiful face
Wandering hands of ours begin their journey of ****** learning
