Alone
Micheal Wolf Apr 2013
I had finished tonight, Readings done tea drunk
Then as I tried to sleep I picked up my phone
I read a poem from girl a who feels alone
Betrayed by a boy who cherished another
Emotionally hurt and so in pain
Yet she wrote about it
She wrote in imagery that moved me
My day was as abhorrent as hers yet I had no words
I couldn't write as she did nor paint the picture
She apologized for her outburst
The most moving soul bearing write
Yet apologized.
So long as she writes an old **** like me will read
To be reminded of the love hurt pain and joy
To feel life, to be moved
May I suggest you sample her world
Live a day of her life in words and be humbled

Bad day-bad times Katy Moran

Then tell me if I'm wrong.

Closed minds seem to hold governance
A long proud country, where rights now denied
Poor deprived of basics, while gentry lavish in fare
Not a merry England or empire to envy
A union falling apart as if asset stripped
Old choose between heat or food
They are many and surplus to the millionaires
Those who coalition yet not majority
Seized power only to profit
Punish the weak and working man
Revolution may be their folly

I pod I phone I couldn't give a toss
Android or Google it makes me so cross
Jumpers with puddings antlers and bells
No ****** turkeys so fights at M and S
Away in a manger?
More like with the fairys!
Mummys half cut with the pre Xmas sherry
Dads bursting out of a suit that's too small
For a couple of kids who deserve **** all!
Santas naughty list is totally ignored
Hundreds are spent to hype it up more
Excess in all and no idea of why
Christmas is lost and the meaning a lie
Gifts for a newborn became a flat screen TV
The Christmas works party
***** or VD
It's Christmas yelled out by Slade and Roy Wood
Danced to by drunkards who hope for some luck
It's over next morning with socks and lynx
Do all women think we're barefoot and stink?
So love to you all and peace on earth
Haven't you heard a ****** gave birth?
Her dad was unknown the father quite odd
Talked like a ****** to some guy called god
She was probably spaced out on Lebanese red
Thought that an angel had been in her bed!
So drink up my friends and remember one thing
It's Christmas tomorrow the birth of the king.
So off to the church and pretend to be good
And full of good cheer
And back to hatred for the rest of the year
Were bombing the ***** out of the Holy Lands
The points been missed
We're all ******.

The imagination can be a weapon of mass destruction
When running riot and exploding
When jumping like a kangaroo to conclusions only a fool could make
To always see the worse case scenario and never see the good in man
The paranoid and self gratification eventually took over a nation
When thoughts of all are out to get us invert to our most personal issues
The people then see nothing good deciet and cheats in all of us
The only end in this end of days is to be yourself for pity's sake.
Micheal Wolf May 2014
Shy inquisitive always sincere.
Experienced cold simply a thrill.
Old fashioned In nylons twice his years.
The things she did are not for here!
Years later her daughter too, not his best move.
Then sat watching the stars and the waves come in.
Like slippers worn time and again, on and off, when both near.
A  quickie snatched on a canal bank, a crazy mistake but nice at the time.
Baby oil frenzied and really quite mad.
Then came the one who broke his heart.
Then back to slippers that still didn't fit.
Then many years with the last he believed.
Then back in the market past his used date
A much younger lover then came to his door, it wasn't what either was looking for.
Many options, none he desired simply no trust, empty inside.
A self satirical sendup

Silence now, No drums
No sounds of marching bands
Only silence
The faint sounds of crying across a proud land

A feeling of national loss, bewilderment
An act that has cut a nation to the quick
The slaying of a valiant heart by cowards
Valiant as his brotthers and sisters in arms

They do what many could not comprehend
Their life in the balance, daily
Yet they fight to protect innocents
They risk all to protect those with nothing
Give everything for the greater good

Mourn our drummer for he is OUR drummer
Remember him as that
Remember him as a man with pride
Passion principle and virtue

A man who gave it all for OUR safety
For our country
For his family
For love of good in this world

Do not be silent
Shout his name from roof tops
Write it down read it out loud
For when a warrior is spoken of
He is remembered

The next time the drums beat it will be in lament
Marching will be heard that day
The feet of man woman child
Christian Muslim bhudist all creeds all faiths

He shall be mourned as a King
Streets lined by his family his people
The British people in their thousands
Defiant resolute and thankful

Drummer Lee Rigby, remember his name
For today we lost a part of My England
Let it not be in vain

Out the bath I had to get
To open the door to your smiley face
"AM I SAVED" your poe face asked
No you ***** I was in the bath
God has sent me to your door
Oh not again I'm getting bored
"Do you believe in the lord thy god?"
I'm dripping wet you stupid ****!
Patience gone decorum lost
I let both barrels fire at once
Oh doorstep preacher shut thy grid!
You live a lie and always will
No god will save you, no heaven above
The lie you live is foolish enough
Your bible is made from letters and verse
Hundreds of years after his birth
It was political work fit for a king
By sayers of soothes fearful of him
It kept people's in fear and others at war
No proof of its truths have  ever been shown
So preacher be quiet and pack up your wares
Let good people live without your concerns
Repent if you wish and seek your own solace
But disturb me again! I'll smack you I promise
The end of your world and it won't be a comet!

Bigotry begins at home
Micheal Wolf May 2013
Islam and Christianity
Politicians debate
Extremists fuel a cause

Well you are all wrong
You sold out your humanity

To be a good person is not in scripture
It isn't in any dogma
Believe that and your lost

It is in our hearts

It's how a parent teaches
What a parent teaches

Teach any child a religion
They have a faith
The majority will follow it

Teach your children bigotry
The majority will follow that too

Teach them to love
Teach them to care
Teach them to aid

Then regardless of their faith
They will teach the same
They will see humanity

Morals are not a faith
But a faith can support morality
As to it can bolster hate

So don't tell me your a Christian
Don't quote Muhammad
I don't care if your agnostic

Just teach your children well
The future is all they have
Don't condemn them to our past
Our mistakes

Act now as time is not on our side
Act now and create a proud nation
A nation of all faiths united in love

I knew where to find her, I simply couldn't look. My dark days wrestling with daemons had to be alone. No other could be in the battle I had to maintain a thread of clarity. But no matter how long or how hard I tried. No other moved  my very soul as she, yet eerily we never made one of our halves. Daydreaming and days weeks years pass and my heavy heart yearned more each day for her embrace. Now alone I know she didn't feel the churning inside that drives a soul to extremes. What now becomes of me.

Exist or not they didn't care they held a moment a dream in the air.
St nick or santa or Mr Claus was all that they had in between wars.

Each new layer distorts the one before

Merging to form the whole yet some features,
Not all more evident remain
And with it's flaws our shell is formed
A memory of our pasts
An armour with kinks

Slowley, a step at a time
Intensely focused, listening
For the ice she walks upon strains
It strains to hold her
He waits to hurt her
She never hears it crack
Never ever
But feels the pain of the blow
The hurt, the erosion
Each time the ice becomes thinner
Thinner until she dares not walk
Dares not talk
Then she is lost
Then a life raft
An escape
He is gone
He is exposed
Now who's scared
Tricky one this for a friend who broke the cycle and had an abusive partner locked up. For L. Though she will never read it.

Can you hear the sound of a little girls thoughts?
They won't be like yours
The simplicity of life the innocence of play
After ballet can we go to the stables pleeeeasse?
Do we feed the hoses? Or pick apples today
What's on my sandwiches,  what flavour crisps?
Do you know why the ***** cat has a limp?
We've run out of carrots the giggles are loud
Time to go home now, daddy I'm tired
Just as the horses went for a ride
All playing together with no cares in the world
I wonder what goes on in those little heads

So now on a Saturday I get to be dad
If I'm lucky see you for a little while
Without "thats wrong or not now or don't do that"
Sometimes I even get to hold you tight
Then we all part and my daughter chats on
About the fun she had with her friends who have gone
Can they sleep over or play in the park
Can we go to their house she never stops
Then the day fades and they all go home
Then I'm left to my thoughts alone.

Fate and fortune play out the game of our days
Move by move, fashioned to please the player
Stun the observer and torture,  yes torture the pieces
The game now almost at a close as lifes sands ebb
Grain by grain dropping to oblivion
Odd many moves once played repeated but not anticipated
Yet with familiarity, the hurt, the outome, just the same
When fortune plays light shines upon the sands
Though they still decend, just not observed
When fates turn again comes, the only sound is that of the rushing sand

That morning smile
It's like the sunshine
Lights my dark days
Just the chit chat
Words each morning
Makes the day bearable
Will it be the green today?
I love green
But no another colour
The outfit is a talking point
We sit people watching
Though this is an escape
Escape of a kind, but so much more
A duality of spirit
We listen to her
Study her face
Her little ears
Her piercings
Her lips
I digress now
He's away, America
From abroad today
She awaits his return
Hangs for words from afar
It makes her cheeks glow
I wonder does she wonder
No I guess never
But what if?
Were there now
Off she gets
I watch her walk
Study her, imagine her
Gone for another day
The morning smiled
Such pleasure fills me
Selfish and betrayal
A light in my now cold heart
A very old work about train journeys

About Last Night?
Micheal Wolf Sep 2013
They met in a secluded lane
Though didn't kiss, or touch exchange
No kissing was there to be done
For he felt the sadness in her voice
For life had so far run its course
Leaving only sadness in its wake
Exchanging thoughts and views
The why's and wherefores
Of how and when their lives had broken
Then as chance they met,
They parted same
Only to go their separate ways
It was rather nice he had to say
To look once more upon her face
Imagine days and nights gone by
Emmbraced in passion in a former life
But part they did in stiff lip fashion
Parting with no kiss or embrace
Home to bed and thoughts to race
He awoke having made love the whole night long
But when he turned to kiss her she was gone
He realised then it was all but a dream
Nothing in life is as it seems.
My attempt in the style of Edgar Allan Poe.

By Saturday the wifebeater will have forgotten all he wrote
The psychotic wife will be throwing things
Back to the status quo.
So why do people do it, as in spend an arm and a leg?
Valentine's was for strangers, an anonymous way to vent.

If you were right and they knew it the courtship then commenced
If you kept it up you're a stalker and the courts dealt with it

So look forward to pancake day covered in dietary sins
By then the garage flowers will be rotting in the bin.

All smiles, it hides his evil
Oh he's everyones friend
Warm with hugs
Used to invade your space
Sit on my knee
I'd rather die now
His hands are vile
I imagine killing him daily
Watching the life drain
My hands upon his throat
I will wait, i'm a child
I have not the power or the voice
He preys upon that
Scared to open the bathroom door
He lurks outside
He's just popped up to see if you're alright
A knee as hard as I can
Straight, fearful into his groin
His glasses hit the floor
He's not in control
PUSH NOW!
Downstairs he rolls
Every step vengeful
Bang after bang
Die you ******* leave us alone
He lies motionless blood from his head
His eyes open, oh god he's not dead
His wife runs out, tends to his head
He says he has fallen, the truth is'nt said
College years later was like being born again
Not having to see him, re living the pain
Then came the news, I had to go see
The reaper had come and the cancer was deep
I relished the days watching him die
As though in macabre it gave me my life
Once dead and burned others they spoke
He was a monster his wife did'nt know
He stopped touching others after "his fall"
I found at his funeral i'd ruptured his ball

Lines crossed, back and forth
Tempers frayed, voices raised
Then came the skirmishes
A few at dawn, more at night fall
Whilst the day was full of exchanges
In the days that followed it became more intense
Violent clashes and casualties
No more warnings, full on ramming
Clear and defined as if at the wheel of a ship
Collisions and screaming, then came the peace keepers
Dressed in geeen and red to try and calm the situation
But to no avail
For only when the last toy or the last mince pie was bought
Then only then on December 24th was the battle of Christmas over
An eerie truce then held until haloween.

Is it their once meek failings?
Or loves lost labour's that spurn them to seek entanglement in my life?
Hard it must be for them to assume and presume, never knowing yet thriving upon Septic thoughts.
They may see in me something I cannot?
Or see in you something they cannot have, or lost.
For what I see is not their folly or presumption.
It is my fantasy alone and if truth be known more languid in debauchery than they could ever picture or imagine.
For my solace in my words not their deeds.
Although one follows the other, it is not compulsory nor is it always desired.
For the thoughts of slow driving ******* of the spirit is mine alone.
My thought
My words
My imagery
Her responses
Are my imagination
I seldom see these interlopers or speak to them.
I ask not to be judged as a peer, nor accepted as an equal.
I mostly despise their counsel in any way
The saving grace is the inability to read my thoughts or know of my works.
In that I deny them a world of emotion and pleasure they are not worthy of.

Dad!!!
Where can I  buy a fridge freezer, I'm hearing things that can't be real.
Dads head now spinning, can't fathom why so asks the question why oh why?
Why  because your mum has two and when I left one was new.
No it's not for me its for my friend, because her daddy upt and left
The first time in months she touched my heart because she showed she cared allot
So daddy asked what's it all about and his heart sank at how she cared for a friend she hardly knew as yet
Her mum works hard all the time and can't afford to get one now
She works all day on the farm and I want to get her one ok?
So what does a dad say to that when he finally sees behind his daughters mask
She has a heart and god its big,  so I guess I need to find a fridge!
So asked about and favours called to find a fridge for Dherrans  mum!
Off to Woolton and back again, we have one and I'm feeling great.
Four weeks later I still have one and no contact with Dherrans mum!!
Calls and texts and no reply! Oh how I've tried
So Emily tonights the night I'll leave it in your friends drive.
So off I popped and knock knock knock and eyes like saucers looking back!
I'm now sure I've got it wrong the house the number the whole shabbang
Who's this bloke and *** I'm in me onsie oh my god!
Introductions and no idea who or why he is here!
I'm Emilys dad well that fell flat, but dont I know you anyhow?
After deduction better than Sherlock Holmes he showed his badge it all came clear thank **** for that the fridge is here!!!
Fridge inside and cups of tea and laughter filled the air with glee
Talk of art and Shakespeare to a pleasant change from a Thursdays gloom
Then time to go and say goodnight, I rather liked the onsie sight!!!

For as Holmes himself said
Inspector "Is there any point to which you would wish to draw my attention?'

'To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time.' Holmes

Inspector "The dog did nothing in the night-time.'

'That was the curious incident,' remarked Sherlock Holmes.'"
The dog just watched torturous its stare.

Then karma after taking notes, came to call to rerurn it all.

Storm clouds gather and the sun fades
Darkness envelops like hands over the eyes
The images harder to see, hazed unclear
Storm clouds, storm clouds

The one in a million
over and over he tells her
no sign of letting go

I hear you say he can't help it
You're to clumsy by far
It's not a good day today
It never is tomorrow

It was your fault
He couldn't help it
You provoke him

Your face is a magnet
Attracts only his fists
Time and again
Scars where he hits

He used to be perfect
Remember his kiss
Exciting in bed
Rough but exciting
You were new to it

Pleasure became pain
Pain became often
When you said no
Then came the shouting

Along came the cops
The neighbours had called
Not seen you for days
You opened the door

No complaint to be made
You fell in the bath
Funny things baths
As you seemed to have bunced

Well time it passed
So came the day
When you fell in the bath
But you stayed that way

The coroner called
As well as the cops
A new coat of plastic
Cold on the slab

Ten years he got
Now the times spent
He's free to continue
All over again

Who will be next
The one in a million
The next to be clumey
And fall again

So if you read this
If you're the one
Please please report them
BEFORE YOU ARE GONE
Something that needed finishing

Whitechapel
Micheal Wolf Jan 2013
Sounds disappear as if smothered into the shadows
Footsteps make a dull thud lost in a blanket of fear
A fear that is held taught by the night and it's visitor
The cold velvet makes the dark light but impedes sight
All move on edge from doorway to doorway ears acute
Are those footsteps or the mind playing tricks
Working girls, Gin filled amid the stinking streets
Will I be next?? Is he a regular or a new player
The cry goes out followed by whistles
Boots on cobbles, screams! He has returned
No person saw him he morphed into the night
Her body lies torn mutilated to precision
Organs laid out in a rutualistic yet barbaric display
Once again unseen his work done "Jacks back"
Fear grips the streets again the press give him status
The people condemn, the police powerless or forbidden to act?
Only history will reveal the killer in the fog

Do you get off on seeing her bleed
Try hitting a man, try me!
Imagine it you cowardly *****
As I break your ribs like you did hers
You had the best a true princess
Now your nothing a worthless ****
Dedicated to a coward a worthless human being. A waste of flesh. An ego driven mummy boy. Yeah hell right I'm angry

Serendipitys dog
Micheal Wolf Aug 2013
Serendipitys dog is a happy soul for he has no purpose as everyone one knows
Not to confuse him with Shrodingers cat
Who didn't know where the hell he was at.
Alive or dead or here or not, his owner was in for a bit of a shock
But no our dog was different to him for he didn't look for anything
He didn't look for quantum laws or try to explain what came before
For one day he knew he would simply be, in a place where time and space stood still
It may only happen once in his life but our dog knew he'd be alright.
You see probability ruled his life as fate did to, he didn't have much say in that or what to do
For the universe in all it's splendour occasionally made things a little better
Would it be chum or chapie for tea well that would be Serendipity.
