Afraid of Architecture
Micheal Wolf Jun 2014
Steep steps and high walls
Uneven sidewalk and potholed roads
Missing tiles and leaking roof
All to be afraid of
Broken lamps and shadows hide
The fears that control our souls at night
Swinging like a fly screen door
Noises that make the senses cold
Afraid of stone
Afraid of wood
Broken glass and shutters thud
All it was it is no more
Architecture haunts your thoughts

Brian has a Subaru, he drives it very fast
He likes to see the people look as he goes whizzing past
Brian thinks he's special a celebrity of sorts
Tearing up and down the street with his oversized exhaust
The truth is Brian no one gives a toss
They look in hope and pray you write your ****** off!

How do you mend a damaged heart ?
Fractured, cracked or blown apart.
You can't use glue, string or tape
vinegar and brown paper was a fairy tale.

How do you mend a broken heart

You can't buy passion, love or butterflies.
They can only be delivered with a smile.
A smile that could bring nations to war
or make a gladiator kneel before.

How do you mend a broken heart

The same smile that could make a grown man weep
or tell bedtime stories to make a child sleep.
To look upon a smile and its holders eyes
can mend that heart if you let it try.

So how do you mend a broken heart

Not leased or lent,
borrowed or loaned,
only when given will it be whole..
When another holds all you are

Is how you mend a broken beart

knitting
Micheal Wolf Feb 2016
I feel as though I have been undone
One cell at a time
An erosion of myself
Like a child pulling a thread watching a scarf disappear into a long ruffled length of wool
It has some memory of its previous form like DNA
Each morning when I wake, I feel like that ball of wool has been re knitted but never the same
It is as though my emotions have been re configured
Micheal Wolf Jul 2013
Ah yes the evening has an ending like a Barbara Cartland novel
His eyes burned into hers like sapphires
Glazed with the amount of special brew he had necked watching Bolton wanderers.
They had won, so he fought with fans instead of the Mrs
In the pub after the game he saw his quarry
She was a prize
His strong arms unfolded, her softly yielding body helpless as she was being swept away on a tsunami of passion
Well dragged outside with a bottle of Auzzie white.
The black eyes from his earlier exploits reflected on his away team polyester shirt in the fluorescent lights of the pubs smoking area.
Then he dropped his pants revealing a porridge gun capable of crop spraying.
Moments later she was awash with a spermiferois goatie after almost choking herself on a double portion of spangle after it fired both chambers
It was love!
Then the bell for last orders sounded and he was lost as to walking the Bourneville boulevard with her or grabbing a last pint with his mates.
It had been a hard day
But a true hero he did the Captain Oates and left with her The promise of captain's pie and a scotch was on the cards back at her place
But her night of passion was not assured
If Dibnah **** didn't strike as his alcohol to blood ratio was in the wrong place.
On Monday he would be but a memory
Next week it's an away game
She will miss him

Unwanted
Micheal Wolf Mar 2013
I shall be frank
I abhor your presence
I look at you and think
WHY?
Why do you exist
You have no purpose
You are an abomination
A pariah
And yet my little friend
You are here
But not to stay
As soon as I can be rid
You shall be gone!!!!
My pounch
Micheal Wolf Nov 2012
I have a mental picture.
It's what I dream of you.
I know I've never met you and know that you're not real.
Covered in a black veil, your outline showing through. Draped over the peak of your *******, to the revene between your thighs the more I try to focus my heart beats out of time.
I watch you touch your body, fingertips at first, moving slow and rhythmic your mind is somewhere else.
I move to kiss your lips the veil is In between, I run my hands  to yours and touch your inner being.
I feel my fingers wet your swollen lips invite me, your mouth is open wide.
You're beconing to kiss you and slide myself inside.
I pull the veil away my head between your thighs, I want to make you ****** and make you feel alive.
I feel your legs aside me, nylon clad In black, I want to be inside you, legs wrapped around my back.
Two become one as we ****** and writhe, our fingers entangled you stare into my eyes.
You push me to the side and roll ontop of me, you sense we are close where one from two will be.
You pin my arms down my fingers twisted tight riding there above me holding me inside.
You feel my body shaking as you begin to rise, then both of  us are lost and hold each other tight.
So if you are that woman with lips of ruby red I hope tonight in dreams you take me to your bed.
Written to show that Christian grey is a pariah and a false god. I thank you.

Lucy in the park with TB
Micheal Wolf Mar 2013
Picture yourself unemployed, your life now in bin bags
With no home, no car and no roof over you
No food no boots no one to hold onto
You children don't recognise you

Whilst high on a hillside the political powers dine upon luxury food
Sipping their champers drinking your money
And looking down upon you

Using your money to fund and support all of their business intrests
Taken your life away, nothing left today

Lucy in the park with TB
Lucy in the park with TB
Lucy in the park with TB
ohh OOh Poor Lucy

Morning has come and her fingers now blue her face is dark and won't move
Her daughter can't wake her she cries "oh mummy"the coalition have killed you..
The government killed here with policy cuts and media lies each day
Cameron and Clegg Lining their  pockets as more more people die
Lucys now gone on a boat to the heavens
the ferryman took her away took her today

Lucy died in the park with TB
Lucy in the park with TB

Poor Lucy
Oh wow

Bucket list
Micheal Wolf Jul 2013
When does one write a bucket list
Before the need? Well you can't after it!
Places to go people to see
A work of many possible things
For a world of most you have never seen
A thousand things you said maybe?
Or is the list a cathartic chore?
To make amends to those you scorned
Whatever it is, you must write yours
Before you shed this mortal coil
Micheal Wolf Feb 2013
I didn't know her
In the coming hours and days I will
I will know of her travels her dreams
Her passions, her brother her, sisters
Her mother, her father and her best friend
Her boss her colleagues.
I will meet you all,
In turn

You see I don't know her
Though now I'm her only counsel
An honoury counsel if you will
A go between, an artist in some ways
I will paint her picture
I will paint it without compromise
It will be a "still" life not impressions
I will give it my all
I always do

We met only a few hrs ago
The bright sunlight in your flowing hair
Eyes fixed in a warm gaze
A smile, yes a smile
Perfect teeth and jaw
Lips the envy of any model
I never heard your voice
Just your last lost breath
Gone now

I don't know you
Yet now your laid bare before me
In the bright light it seems irreverent
You clothes gone your body cold
Why so young, why on a beautiful morning
Why at all

To work now
The attendant comments "You alone?" he is here
As the pathologist enters my colleague arrives
All here ready to go, and yet each of us I swear pauses
Is it respect for her or shock
So young

I know now
I mean I know the cause of death
I've scribbled dozens of post mortems
As has my exhibits officer, shes the best
The drink drivers, the druged the racers
The limbless the headless biker
All have a story, a reason when flesh divided
***** by ***** the answer presents
This time no different a ruptured aorta
Yet different

Ok done
My notes go to be transcribed
We wash, dress. Hungry? Yeah ok
The pathologist joins us for breakfast
He jokes about a fry up "it will be the death of us"
We eat on, it's dealing with it I guess
A last supper for them in a way
A black closure

The picture? Oh yes
Death by rapid declaration. Not a pretty one
One side perfection the other bones exposed
None of them will see that.
The attendant is a seamstress a consummate professional
They will see a friend a daughter a colleague
Not what we see or how we answer their questions
So many questions

I now know more
An amazing daughter, fabulous friend
And a lost lover who worked late
Partied early but didn't drink
Emotional after a romantic split
Fatigued tired out with colleagues
Tieing one on to forget. How then?
You drove home In the mornings sunlight
Radio on you went a little fast only forty two
Miles per hour that is.
At thirty you may have survived
But not today

Now goodbye
The coroner's verdict accidental death
Tired, fatigued you simply fell asleep
Drifted and weaved, you couldn't see his Uturn
You never saw anything again
It was your turn, my job is done
No other to blame all the canvas used
The full picture painted
I never knew you, yet think of you often
Some you simply don't forget
The needless
The good
The honest
Sleep now

Little railroads
Micheal Wolf Apr 2014
The noise of the night now comforts me. The stove creaks as it cools, jets decend to the airport and the traffics throng wains.
The day unwinds, its events now memories already. Each event, each thought like a train on its own little railroad, disapearing into the depths of the mind. When morning comes a clean slate. Then within seconds the thoughts that dwell, stress and depress, once again tear along the tracks till they overwhelm you. They just circle the mind on little railroads. No journey to speak of.

Harbour
Micheal Wolf Jun 2014
My ship is safe in harbour but that's not what it's for.
I never journey from there and see what's out in the world.
I sail around the harbour and see all there is to see.
What stops me going further is fear inside of me.
Fear of an open ocean and the storms that rage out there.
All I need is a pilot to steer me on my course.
So sail your ships around me and protect me out at sea.
Then join me in my harbour and safely berth with me.
Nick Cave inspired.

Micheal Wolf Jan 2014
Find a reason or an excuse to avoid
What you feel and how it burns inside
How it effects you they can't understand
To far, to intense,  to much on your plate
They beg you to let them help, yet you escape
When really it's you, no other to blame
You made a mistake couldn't handle their gaze
Oh hide emotion because of your past
Open to nobody for fear of the out
Once knowing your weakness you no longer could face
Knowing they knew your inner most pain
For another's affection was to much to take
Then because you can't cope you push them away
Then scold yourself as you let them go
Then sleep at night thinking are they alone
Oh hushabye fool oh lament the loss
Only you could have told them you felt to much
More emotion than you could ever have known
The love they showed you was nothing you'd known
The end came silent you could no longer talk
You simply couldn't take in it's all
Now a memory, and what of the cost?
You can't repair what you, alone lost
A few lines I've kicked about without a purpose.  Looking at open emotions and trapped pain.
A battle of emotions like west side story.  Good bad etc
Probably re write it.   There gives a thought, re write.

The jigsaw pieces of love
Micheal Wolf Aug 2013
To hot! To cold!
Goldilocks said when trying porridge before her bed.
To soft! To hard!
Sleep would be a drama as well.
You see not everything in life fits the way it ought.
I don't mean material things like a couch or a rug.
It's the things you can't buy, like how he gives a hug.
Its the way arms wrap around you or the feeling from her kiss.
It's more than just the motions its the way two lovers fit, energy's in balance a rare thing that it is.
So goldilocks I guess was right when she knew what she didn't want, if the missing piece isn't there, is there any point.
Imagine it's like Christmas but on any other day, you crave to hold them in your arms and feel complete again.
So ask me when it's Christmas?
I say that I don't know.
For until i've found the right pieces my hearts as cold as snow.
So that's my theory, it's the jigsaw of love and life.
If you melt into each others arms I think you have it right.
My only reservation? Well if you get it wrong and try to make the pieces fit with someone who is not the one.
I guess some will fit, as you begin to complete the puzzle, but struggling for years to finish will only cause you trouble.

The loss of who I was, the me inside the careing soul

No more love than an executioner
Less of a life than a zombie

You may call me friends
Micheal Wolf Jan 2013
A million different thoughts
What!
If!
How!
A duet it continues, a lamentation to oblivion
Assorted brain functions carry on like a clock keeping time
Not higher but primal try to carry on normality
The physical suffers as they inflict damage upon my tissues, organs and emotions
Practicality doesn't warrant candid thought
"Tell me about your childhood" Which one!!!
One battles to suppress the other and take its throne of light
It has no place in my mind in this irrelevant state of chaos
Then like a calm before a storm you could hear a pin drop in the void between my ears
They are neither here or there
The quantum moment of exchange
Everything becomes nothing
Nothing becomes everything
The dead emptiness for seconds as the transition takes place
As the vacuum of hopelessness once again ***** the lucid thoughts away
Tortuous like air from a dying man's lungs
Trying to cheat the ferry man
Not on his final journey, oh no that would be relief  and sometimes prayed for to a god I don't believe in
But my now daily fight to refrain from losing  myself into the abyss
I only focus on what I think I can balance between Rationality of day when I can maintain it
and screaming pain of turmoil at night
I live two lives split like continents, never touching again after they separated
Yet in binary to each others existence, a duet of spatial rage
It is the cold reality, my curse, my fate
Two individuals one body, arguing for supremacy
Both alert both sharp both denying the other audience
One during the waking hrs one during the slumber
A Duet of desperation as they battle to trade places
night for day, day for night
One a craftsman one a scholar
The church would call it possession
A physician a personality disorder
I call them my Daemons
Part of me yet all of me
You?
You may call us friends

A weekend of extremes, where a lover became a demon
A car became a transformer and a lifeboat
A child made a new friend, a friend found a new voice
Two fathers took comfort knowing their daughter's safe
A new begining  for one woman yet an adventure for a little girl
Now a bath a cup of Earl grey tea and Edward Elgars chello plays on the radio
It had no plan no agenda yet I feel strangely satisfied
Some people can do that to you
And yet it's only 7 pm so 5 hrs to go
And lest we forget the apple crumble!!!

Remember why?
Micheal Wolf Jan 2014
My heart dropped listening to the words
Clear, crisp, concise they roll from an educated tongue
Every word bigotry in all it's splendour
How did such a well educated and nurtured soul become such a pariah
Then the realisation
We missed a generation
The horrors of war in the two world wars ingrained in many love, not hurt nor hatred
They taught their children how to love and tolerance of others, not to hate a colour
Now it seems that quality has gone and to hate has become the norm
To ridicule and marginalise fashionable?
All that was learnt from those deaths now forgotten
If a teenager uses such words, what hope for those who come next?
No good for sure

The more I like, the more you see
So poet softly speak to me
Make the hairs rise upon my neck
Tell me of the written word
Make me weaker verse by verse
Till all is left, my underwear
Then whisper soft and that comes off
I think you've finished, words enough..
Saw a page on facebook called "word ****" made me giggle and this is totally the opposite but the idea it sparked.

Reciprocity

Ponder this
Our world is populated by have and have nots
Kindness and cruelty
Love and hate
Somewhere in it there should be balance
Karma
Ying and Yang
Call it what you will
Simple
The choice is yours
Rise to the bait
React in anger?
Or simply stop and think
That is what separates us
Thinking
Or should I say the lack of it

pirates
Micheal Wolf Jul 2016
We need more pirates
A few Robin hoods
Not forgetting Ghandis
And others who give a F###
The worlds in the *******
Religions half to blame
The rest is down to the ruling class
1700s again.
ATOS are the healers, Lib Dems are all confused.
UKIP are crazy and Labour's coloured blue!
So let's have some pirates some men stuffed full of ***.
Do a Guy Faulks and this time
BLOW THEM UP!!!

Toast
Micheal Wolf Oct 2013
Motionless as though time itself had been banished
Perfect yet useless, a thing of beauty but no purpose now
Moments earlier inviting,  luring me towards
But now no emotion only frustration
I tried so hard to stop it
Both hands in desperate grasp!
But to no avail
Motionless
Wasted
Face down
The last slice
Jam side down
Ruined

I knows youse ! Don't I?

These words uttered I and my compatriate, like lemings, pray to the same god.
Yet only for a split second, as neither of us worship nor believe!
But given the gravity of her demeanor and onslaught of intoxicated infection, sorry affection, as she seeks her next quarry, one simply hedges his bets.
Then like rats, we jump ship into the garden and hide like naughty children.
Soon engaged in conversation joined by others.
All in the dark art of avoidance, all looking skyward in hope her mothership is near and will beam her the **** out of our world!
Its like a form of emotional tourettes.
The most timid of female creatures transforms like sister Hyde!
Once the potion, ***** in this case, is ingested it's downhill.
It begins.
The potion destroys the victims speech, balance and morality often manifests in loud outbursts!
I LOVE YOU.
Oh please please make that be just the alcohol and not reality as I know my definition of love although a bit disjointed has no parallel to hers.
I see the fear in his eyes, akin to that of a rabbit in headlights and justify the need for immediate action.
So our team plan an escape!
As cunning as Colditz.
RUN!
But she's at the exit!
I've already checked the yard door and it's bolted. Seems all is lost.
Then with a magical piece of luck someone latches onto her. Oh Jehovah! He's had the same potion.
Were off !!!
Goodbye said at the speed of a racing snake to the host!
A huried run down the path
Into the car and baby were gone!!

It's like an adventure of Tin Tin.
Did we lose a dog?
Dedicated to my friend and fellow Orangutang.

Come on you will be late. - Stop the voices
Hurry to the car - They will remember this
Don't forget your lunch - They never noticed me
We will finish the decorations tonight - I'll be a martyr
Must do some shopping - Locked and loaded
Groceries first - NOW while schools full
Hope she likes this - I hear them talking to me
Where are all the cops going - You said do it but I'm dead

The thoughts of many nations now sit as one for so many children now are gone.
Brave souls who tried to stop him have also left an indelible mark.
WAKE UP proud land the war is done you don't need your streets awash with guns.
You don't need to see more innocents die.
You need today to turn the tide.
Two lives start the same day same town one takes the life of the others child. My attempt at a tribute to the lost children. The 2nd amendment need not go just restrict who can bear arms.

She said I was ugly
I said she needed more to drink
When she was drunk I was her world
When sober, I was from an alien world
Beer googles and lust lenses
How the alcohol befriended
When its gone the magics passed
Until the next time she's slashed

For so long I watched people fall into darkness.
Like the stars that shone so bright in my life.
Put out by others darkness the beauty removed, the light extinguished.
I was one of those stars, gone.
I couldn't shine as so many dark clouds hung over me.
We are all the same.
All we are is the dust from stars, nothing more... or are we.
I wallowed in darkness of depression like a weather front obscured me.
Dark clouds others left.
But sometimes I would see a star shine in the night sky I just had to wait for the clouds to clear.
I would hang onto its light like my very life depended upon it.
The wind simply blew them...away.
That was it!!
They hadn't stopped shining, nor had I.
We just couldn't be seen for all the dark clouds in life.
It was like a eureka moment.
What if each day I did one act to clear someones clouds.
Try and blow them away a little bit.
Do that and someone sees them shine.
Ask nothing in return save this..
When you can however small, blow someone elses clouds away if you can.
So I began.
Sometimes it was something big to move a cloud.
More often just something they couldn't do themselves but massive to them.
I mean we are just the stuff of stardust, just energy so why not use it?
Could it be that simple?
One cloud at a time pushing them out of the way.
Little clouds mostly and occassional big cloud and the odd storm.
But.. it worked.
Putting the stars back in the sky one deed at a time.
Here's the point.
My life is full of stars again.
People who shine because helping them clear their clouds gave me back that.
Try it
Just one little thing to remember..
If you help one star shine
you brighten your own sky..
Their clouds may be your clouds too!
You may not get it right every time.
One day at a time
One cloud at a time
But try x

I watched my grandparents
Micheal Wolf Mar 2013
Old age arrives
We notice its signs
The insanitary odours
The squeeks the creaks
The inappropriate hairs
That grow from ears
The time it takes
To do simple things
The less to say
As the mind decays
Make your time with them
All it can be
For someday soon
It will be you and me
