Life’s a movie,
The role I play must be perfect.
If I have to suffer today,
Am in character, can’t be for every life’s day.
There’re things I envy,
The good ones that disappoint.
When I called Him from Sunday to Saturday,
I think He heard me not every single day.

Love’s like sinus,
Gobbling cetirizine and celestamine.
But if you still sneeze,
Know you took the wrong dose.
Sometimes, throat is laced up by mucus,
Leave cetirizine and find your N-Acetylcysteine,
Watch your progress,
And forget the disgrace.

I chose to stay quiet,
I see the moment of my silence.
Ain't remorseful to hate May,
For it dwindled off my peace.
I know ain't fit,
Why did you chose to hurt me?
How did you manage your days,
With my missed calls popping on your screen?
Where did you get the guts,
To have my mails unanswered?
Didn't you feel guilty,
Telling me to delete our memories?
Didn't you see how hurtful it was,
Telling me you loved me by choice & chance?
Didn't you feel me,
When I shed tears on your presence?
What did you gain,
After you knew I was stupid for your love,
And you took advantage of it?
You said you didn't love me, right!
You said you just joked around, well,
You said you hate me, that's brilliant.
I'm sorry, we all wasted our energy,
I too wasted my time and emoji,
But mostly, I loved you genuinely.

Worst Response!
Simon Mathole Jan 2019
(her response)
Sometimes you wonder why am gone,
The reasons I have are better for me to stay alone.

I know you never expected to see my back,
Just like I never expected you to give me heart attack.

Never mind about the time I contrived for you,
Am contented with the lesson you taught me for it was true.

Never mind about my tunes that cut you loose,
Just know sometimes we win and the rest we lose.

Sometimes the battles we fight are nice,
And awful moments need to be ****** off between us.

Yesterday you bribed me with a Bugatti to forget the ****,
Today I realize it’s not worthy what you did.

You can have it and let me go,
Rather than doing anything to please your ego.

I see you were infatuated with me, lad,
And my love for you feels outdated like a fad.

I’ve danced to these heartstring tunes,
In different rhythms of heartbeats.
I’ve danced in every corner,
In daylight and darkness.
All of a sudden, music was cut,
And silence reigned over my heart.
I’ve seen them trip the light fantastic toe,
Terpsichore that my heart couldn’t make,
Without the rhapsodic melodies,
So, alone I had to sing on my own.
When you came to back me up,
I wanted you to stay
For your name composed my song,
Without you I feel incomplete.

Lovelorn
Simon Mathole Dec 2018
“I played it my symphonic tunes,
Far away right from my garden,
Making its heart dance the rhythm,
As my heart was severed from the burden
Of sorrow,
For in her, I was stuck!

In the garden, I planted this tree for it- the bird,
On the branches, I weaved a nest,
For it to come, rest and stay,
But I can’t tell whether it stayed or flown,
I’m confused!”

Under this fateful soliloquy,
That shoved me away from my allies,
Made me wander lonely like a snake,
Fearlessly in this botanical garden,
I’m confused !

I eagerly foreshadow the portraits,
Hoping for a relief of the fateful moments,
But a blackout of vacuity reins the mind.
Though the rains shower my tear drops,
And I seem okay, but I’m confused.

Open up my queen, redress my quest,
Via mail, tale, letter, song or even a yodel,
Your silence is my compunction, killing my soul,
I only have you, we actualize our dream,
Without you, I’m confused!
Lovelorn is like addressing how you love a person, cultivate that conducive environment for your love but still can't tell where the person loves you or they're playing drama on you.

Hopeless Bird
Simon Mathole Dec 2018
Behold, am that hopeless bird,
Who fed on your flowers' nectar,
I cherished how the beautiful scent,
Appealed to my nose,
How the stalk supported me on the Rose.

I'm that hopeless bird,
Who hid in your leaves from my enemies,
Sheltered under your shadow when sun's overhead,
Before it set and after it rose,
When blood in the night cold froze.

I'm that hopeless bird,
Who learnt the ways of your thorns,
Though through woeful moments,
I built a nest and befriended wasps,
To protect the role I had on your fruits.

Behold I'm that hopeless bird,
Who flew all day long and slept on a roof,
'Cause your branches had visitors,
And my only nest had a guest,
I'm that hopeless bird.

I'm that hopeless bird,
Who sees his nest's environment from a distance,
That charmingly enchantress his soul,
Behold, you now remember me not,
'Cause without me, there's nothing you feel.

Please, Don't!
Simon Mathole Dec 2018
Don't say you miss me,
Yet no mail pops on my phone.
Don't say I don't keep in touch,
Your phone's got unanswered calls and mails.
Don't say am so silent,
Unless I forget the meaning of blueticks.
Don't say it's you I hate,
It's your love my heart always probs,
Don't say your heart is hurt,
Unless you make me feel the scars.
Please, don't say I'm not your type,
Unless your flesh is made of concrete.
It's me that your heart owes,
Don't say love is all about fate.
It's you my heart loves,
I'm about to take you out for a date,
Please, don't say you don't while you do love me!

I'm a Begger
Simon Mathole Dec 2018
Life crumbles my visions asunder,
Ignorance shoves me into clumsy blunder,
Love throws me into the zone of blinder,
Forgetting that I'm a Pathfinder.

When life deprives me off the briddle,
When everything seems to be a puzzle,
When my story goes like a riddle,
In grief, I hear life playing it's own fiddle.

Heavy weight makes my legs jiggle,
My blistered feet make me stumble,
But 'they' see me and chuckle,
While they used to praise me in hotels.

Engineering renders me a plater,
In my own house, am made a janitor,
I date a ****** city bunter,
Money in my life is a gutter.

Physique portrays me of a working Caliber,
So they ask "Do you work here?"
Yet behind the curtains am a begger,
A begger in fashioned attire.

Darling
Simon Mathole Dec 2018
Darling, you are my weakness and strength,
You're the enchantress of my heart,
Let your lips caress my Adam's Apple,
Let my fingers have your hair to fumble.
Darling, let me be your sword you be my sheath,
We strongly fight with all our guts,
We conquer the cities and the jungle,
And everything becomes under our rule.
Darling, I want you to growl,
With my tongue deep in your mouth.
Make me feel the pain of the sweet haul,
As you **** the tongue for honey and milk.
Make me crave for your groin,
I pull your hip into position.
Caress my chest hair, arouse the Cupids,
Let's share the tender peck and the hard kisses.
Let's smear that love on our faces,
Wear my warm hugs,
That shields you from the winters.
Always wear that smile,
Encompassed by the love in your heart!
