The cathedral was dark and cold.
I sat alone in a pew, the only soul around.
My head was bowed, my mind fascinated by my shoes.
The marble was worn.  Generations of the faithful had fill this place.
Outside, the clouds wiggled their way away from the sun and allowed its light to pour into the nave.
The light shone in from the stained glass windows surrounding me,
and the entire cathedral became illuminated in a majestic array of colors,
that only God, Himself, could make.
I felt a presence around me, one like I had never felt before in all my years on Earth.
All at once, the cathedral was dark and lit,
cold and warm,
empty and yet, so completely occupied.
It was then that I met God.
And my soul rejoiced.
It's a coincidence that my last name is "Church".  But Einstein said, "Coincidences are God's way of remaining anonymous."  So, perhaps, it's not.

Jane Austen
When stretch'd on one's bed
With a fierce-throbbing head,
Which preculdes alike thought or repose,
How little one cares
For the grandest affairs
That may busy the world as it goes!

How little one feels
For the waltzes and reels
Of our Dance-loving friends at a Ball!
How slight one's concern
To conjecture or learn
What their flounces or hearts may befall.

How little one minds
If a company dines
On the best that the Season affords!
How short is one's muse
O'er the Sauces and Stews,
Or the Guests, be they Beggars or Lords.

How little the Bells,
Ring they Peels, toll they Knells,
Can attract our attention or Ears!
The Bride may be married,
The Corse may be carried
And touch nor our hopes nor our fears.

Our own ****** pains
Ev'ry faculty chains;
We can feel on no subject besides.
Tis in health and in ease
We the power must seize
For our friends and our souls to provide.

Lend me your eyes lets see whats inside
Are you smiling?
Are you sad?
Maybe frightened
Or mad
You may think your ****** expressions fool others
But the trick is not to hard, look into the eyes
Youll see the face is only a gaurd
When you look in the mirror what do you see?
Id hope your eyes smile and are filled with glee
Youre beautiful, without a doubt
Oh how sorrowful would it be to see such eyes pout

Hazel eyes look closely youll see all the colors
Tan skin from summer, an everyday reminder of memories made
Stand 5'1 seeing the world in a different way
Thin core, you can thank my love of soccer
Bright smile, smiling often in hopes to make your day
Small hands and feet I run around not making a sound
Long eye lashes which give reason to why I love my eyes oh so much
Unpainted finger nails giving me a blank canvas
Fine assets making me a predator to insecure girls and insecure men (who try to impress their friends)
Bubbly personality which makes it hard to be silent
Loud laugh I really should tone it down (because I laugh a lot)
This is me
Mostly physcially wise
Because a wall is up
Who are you?

These tears
are constantly
blocking my
view
as I struggle
with these
words
in memory
of
you..
