There so much I wish that we could've done
So much that I wanted, before we came undone.
Who knows, there might be another chance one day
But knowing my luck, that chance will never find it's way.
I will never be able to tell you how much you mean to me
Even though we're apart, I'll hold onto everything in memory.
I will never forget the way you held onto me
How you smiled, and laughed, on so many of those days.
I will always miss the feeling of having you in my arms
Oh, how the light in your eyes could outshine the stars.
I will never forget the time that we shared
All the moments we had, no others will ever compare.
I didn't lie when I said always and forever.
I will always be here if you ever need my help.
I promise.
Even if my love somehow dies away,
I'll never forget all of our wonderful memories.
Thank you, for all of those amazing moments
Amid all of the chaos in my life.

Goodnight, sleep tight.
Don't worry, you'll be alright.
It's just a little storm outside,
your safe in here, no need to cry.
I'm right here, I'll never leave you.
I'll always be here when you need me to.
no matter how bad the storm may be,
It'll always be you and me.
Sleep well, sweet dreams;
Yes, I promise I won't leave.
I'll stay with you throughout the night,
and wake you up at morning light.
honey, there's no need to frown.
look, see? I'm laying down.
uhg, sweety don't hug so tight!
I promise you you'll be alright.
I love you too, my little angel
I'll keep you safe from this world of danger.
hush now, and close your eyes
no dear, this isn't goodbye.
I'll see you as soon as morning comes,
and we'll both wake up to the morning sun.
Goodnight, my little dove
your the sum of all that I love.

Two bodies lay still, on a hilltop at night.
The moon gone black; the stars the only light.
A light breeze startled them, both nearly asleep,
and the one, a young boy, planted a kiss on the others cheek.
The other, a young girl, smiled small and wearily;
the night was growing old, they both lay there sleepily.
The boy pulled her closer; she laid her head on his chest,
laid an arm over his stomach, as he wrapped his 'round her waist.
The girl then smiled a bit wider, nuzzling into the boy,
closing her eyes, feeling so overjoyed.
The boy, smiling softly, looking down at her,
gently rubbed his thumb against her shoulder.
He counted the stars, in an almost whisper like tone
just to where she could hear him, and start dozing off in his arms.
To her, he was just counting, nothing important to her
but to him, he was counting how long they'd be together.
after a while, she giggled, and placed a finger on his lips,
and then he smiled wider, and pecked her fingertip.
Then she fell asleep, buried into his chest,
and he dozed off, smiling, holding her close, one number imprinted into his head:
Infinity.

The feeling of rain on your skin
Of it running, streaming, down your face
The sound of it hitting the ground, the pavement, the bleachers around you
The night sky above you, your eyes closed, staring up at it
Nothing but the cold rain trailing down your skin,
The sound of it around you,
Nothing on your mind except everything around you, the rain, the sound, the feeling
Isn't all just
Relaxing?

Two                            people
Fallen in love        with one another
Two people that     couldn't be happier
Lay next to each other, under the night sky
The boy smiles, holding his love close
Kissing her forehead as she sleeps
She stirs, and pulls him closer
He yawns, closing his eyes
Laying there together
Under the stars
Sleeping
In love.

You should never give a person a lot of time to think.
No one truly knows of the horrors in your head, of things you come up with.
After having all that time to think.
Sanity may start to lose its grip.
After all, when you give someone too much time to think;
The only one they talk to, they get advice from,
Is themselves.

I look to the stars sometimes,
Thinking of all the ones that have fallen,
And turned someones life around,
Making that someone happy.
I often gaze up there,
At the night sky, wandering,
When will a star fall for me?

But, in reality, that star has most likely fallen already.
They could already be right under my nose.
I'm just to blind to see that star.
Or, I could be that star.
With all probability, I'm not.
But I could be that one meant to fix someones life,
To make someone happy.
And, the person that I love, loves me back just the same.

I wonder,
Maybe, just maybe,
What if we are both stars,
That have fallen from that same sky,
Both meant to make the other happy?
Stars don't die, or burn out.
They live on forever.
In our hearts.
In our memories.

If every red-ripped ****** and perfect ***** meant something, they'd represent all.
The way the alcohol flows and the choreography of women under the night call.

If every smile smothered the defeat in her being,
she'd be less from a fogged mirror memory
and would be seeing
that I love her and the hurricane behind:
I still follow her into the flood,
follow her where bodies intertwine.

The wind whispers shouts and knee scrapes --
And there is something wrong with me
because I wonder of the way the world tapes
every traumatic second onto her hips
and lets it flow into her pale-palmed grip
that grasps my face and the hollow within;
the shallow shake of tomorrow's sin.

Her bed has a garden print,
but I close my eyes and hope
I stand in a Sun-bathed tomato patch,
waiting for the wind to whisk me away.
