The voices
They’re always there.
On good days and bad.

They scream and taunt you.
Always in the back of your mind.
Haunting you.

Do they ever stop?
Picking at you,
Bringing you down,
And tearing you apart?

No they are there for good.
They eat at you until you are no longer you.

Until you are only one thing.

Empty
But never found,
Surrounded by darkness.
It’s all around.
So much space,
With nothing,
Not a sound.

Feeling as though I’m strapped down,
Feeling so trapped,
Will I drown?

I’m moving around,
But the thing is,
I have no control.
My body moves on it’s own.

Where am I?

I seem to be lost..
Never to be found.
She was always so upbeat.
She was always smiling.

Although if you really looked,
She was super skinny..
Then again, did I ever see her eat?

Her face was pale.
But her smile was bright.
Her eyes were dull.
Her tone so light.

When someone was down,
She brought them back up.
But when she was down,
No one was there.

Then again,
did she ever do anything for herself?

No one noticed what was wrong,
Until that day,
But she was already gone.
