sleep deprived,
succumbing to the dreams
you gave, I shifted
once became one thousand, then I fell
into wakefulness

tripping again,
I taste the subtle sands the desert blows
and understand the visions
you impose
without a threat, I know.

But all I want is a soft and dreamless sleep,
oh please,
dear oneiros

exhausted, I bend to kiss
the burning dark,
I find your lips
blinded by this cold eclipse.

the winter's first love was spring,
but they lost each other in the fires of July.

after some time,
they became friends

forever
my hope for you

across from me
she is playing the guitar
and I love her

He lies flat on the rooftop
looking at the stars.

Useless worlds birthing and dying
he muses
the colossal magnificence of waste

if atrophy is the verdict
why create a complex web of universe
just because someone from an island
would stare at them
in awe of the beauty
seeking a key to the riddle
himself a grain of dust
lost in reading the firmament
and not grasping
of what significance
he is
within his shrinking space and time
in an expanding universe.

I hadn't expected someone there
already before me.

Only lonely men come here
I heard him through my heavy breath
lonely with nothing and everything.

Down there was the sea rumbling faintly
with the froths painting themselves on the shore
like a sketch in a child's drawing book.

Height does amazing tricks, the man continued,
makes you feel invincible
stimulates you to be ****** into gravity
to fall as light as the feather.

The dusk was wrapping up the light
when I remembered having promised her
not to be late to descend.

There's a man up there, I told the gateman,
Nope, he said,
you were the only guest this evening.
