A life with a lover
Is possible if you stop seeking

It’s like falling asleep
You will never be able to rest
Unless your body forgets
Why it laid down in the first place

I'm drinking up my problems
Corrosive fuel for my veins,
Rusting out the signs of life—
A hollow shell is all that remains.
The poor reflection of who I am,
Humane, respectful to a stranger,
But even the loveliest of shells—
tidy and decorated—
Crumble under corrosive weight,
If there's no-body to hold them.

Once more she drifts deep,

snowflakes,

feathers,

kisses soft,

blackness wraps her tight.

Contrast whispers in the void,

light and dark dance endlessly.

forcing your feelings on someone is irresponsible and rude,
but when crammed into words,
art is made.

That boy’s acting hostile,
Cold-blooded like a reptile.
He’s got to learn acting tough is futile,
despite him feeling utile.

No gang grands him vacation.
They recruit sheep like him,
lone but docile,
Utilizing juveniles on probation-
no hesitation, no consideration.
For who else would reach out,
to a soul untamed,
a boy unfazed,
a coy unflamed,
who lacks in passion,
consumed by hate?

but how could a modern mind
decline a fellow human,
that's living for the missions
he's been given
his whole life?
