When I arrived here
        from another world
        (as a tiny baby)
I just couldn't buy in....
Until they showed me the sky.
You
I want to be snuggled up beside you
Wrapped in your warmth and words
It's the only cure for what ails me

AprilDawn
not yet in full swing
just the odd tease
of
orange golden  streaked
limbs
a seductive wrist flick toss
of ground leaves
among the mostly green  grass
the peak
peeking slyly
from still bulging trees
not ready
for the full Monty
yet.
Looking out my front door the past few days  , and noticing  the beginning of the leaves turning. At this time a  slow unfolding    , like a strip tease.
I do not want to be a perfume-tinged person of your past,
tainted with chemicals and compounds whose names I do not know

Neither do I want to be just another girl you used to love

I wish to be the scent of a thousand freshly picked flowers,
staining your mind with my vibrant colours

To you, I wish to be your sweetest serendipity - the most exquisite delicacy your lips have ever tasted

I wish to be to you, what you are to me.
wish hope want love bittersweet serendipity life you dream unrequited infatuation romantic lust him her past history us
Every time I look up at you
I have to look away
I can't meet your eyes, love
Because I'm afraid of what you will see
