The memory of what he did brought even more memories to mind
Slow at first but picking up speed, it's all starting to unwind
I don't want to look, I don't want to find
But when I close my eyes there they are right behind

It's been almost a year, but all these thoughts have come rushing in
Because it is mushroom season again
The woods I would have to go within
I always loved to romp about out there, but now thoughts twist and bend
Losing my sanctuary was the greatest sin

Dragging me out to my beautiful wood, so I could be his prey
The feel of the freash damp earth under foot, birds chirping in the trees, I will remember it ALL till my dying day

My hands tied behind my back, it would be easier for him that way
He pushed me to my knees, invading me from behind just like my step daddy did so a ****** I'd stay
He knew it would bring back those memories of my yesterday's

With that veil evil deed, so many things got lost
My woods, singing birds, the river's bend, what a cost
No more fishing, no more camping, no place to take off my disguise
No sanctuary to run to, all of this I'm starting to realize

He was an intelligently crazy
He was destroy the last place that was my safety
He was taking my last bit of joy I could get
He was very cunning in that, I'll have to admit

He found away to continue to bring me agony
After all these years he couldn't just let me be
He made my tormented life worse by many degrees
So now standing at the edge of the woods I freeze

He took my place
To feel warm and safe
New and catastrophic agony is now a cold fire inside
There is no place to hide
It's left me fighting hard not to end it all and die

I thought I loved you
But it was only the picture you portrayed
I thought I loved you
Even after being betrayed
I thought I loved you
But I was color blind
I thought I loved you
Until your true colors I was able to find*

there is never a dull moment with she
for she is two..going on three
always on my seats edge
but i love her more than me..that i pledge
she throws the cat food everywhere..everyday
got to clean crayons off the walls once more?...okay
eating lotion again? This marks more than ten
but if  she  needs me..
just tell me where..tell me when
because her hugs are the sweetest
they come when i most need it
when she smiles..my soul soars
no love more pure...she makes me open locked doors
these moments i cherish..good and bad
wont let them perish
to my heart she has the key
she is my*
minime

Intriguing you are.
Infatuation I have with your accent.
Soooo beautiful.
Without trying.
I will let you inside my mind.
Touch me.
Caress me.
Want me.
Intriguing you are.
Take me to the stars.**

Walked in the shadows.
Couldn't find the light.
Fell into an abyss.
Couldn't fight gravity.
Went through an erie tunnel.
Couldn't find the end.
I weeped. I cried. I sobbed.
Couldn't find my smile.
Got stuck in quick sand.
Kicked and screamed and I sank.
I was burried.
Thought I was gone.
Thought I was under.
But I was not.
I had just been planted.
I didn't have to crawl out.
I just grew.

Taking no sides in this race war.
We need to ask ourselves what are
We fighting for?
Can't you see it divides us more?
Don't you know this is the devil's lure?

My family is black.
My family is white.
My family is blue.

We all can not suffer for the racism that is very much alive.
Many many innocent people have died.
But please do not let this cause us to divide.

You can't fight fire with fire.
You can't give fire air.

Fire dies when it's smothered.
Fire dies when it's too wet.
This we shall not forget.

Let's smother this fire with love and unite.
Together we all must fight.
With all of our might.

Let's drown the fire with love, peace and positivity.
Because frankly what it can cause frightens me.

Together we must come.
Together is the only way to overcome.
