How can this be?
These vessels swim on
A cellophane sea

It’s art,

As they move
Slowly constricted
Somewhat restricted, on
A cellophane sea

The crane swoops down
Barely misses a fish with
Tissue paper fins
It would have
Been a meager
Lunch

The eye of
A paper mache
Hurricane moves in,
Slowly crawls
It flows,
It flows,
They all survive,
On a cellophane sea
Lost in abstract thought right now...

So, you want
To put her down
Dig an early grave?
This ghost
Still lives inside
This hole,
Reckoning
With hidden
Thoughts,
Hollow shell
Shedding doubt
With a soul
Conscious
It comes with this
Life,
Don’t lay down yet
Save your breath,
Stay up a little longer,
Another hour and find
Your way back up,
Drown the Specter
There inside, down
Below the
Surface, so you can
Learn to breathe
Learn to love
Learn to see,
A better tomorrow
This poem might seem a little dark, but it's just a reflection of the battle some of us face with our inner self, that side that doubts sometimes.  I always try to think that tomorrow is a new day full of promise. <3

Didn’t want
Another clouded
Marvel to take away
Your blaze
Extinguish it
Ignite loose branches
With a single brush
Don’t want
Dimness
To put out
A spark so bright

We try to invent life even though life is already invented.
The complications of our minds complicate life.
If we live life like the breeze, life may be a breeze.

It’s a fingerprint parade,
They press down into this bubble,
It doesn't break.
You’re enclosed in it,
Where is this place?

Not recognizing...

Breathing rapidly into a balloon that surrounds,
Calm down; quiet

White walls are the only thing you see, a display of them stretching
To infinity.

Let colors expand endlessly.

You settle down your life,
Slow your pace,
Relax your gaze,
Do what it takes
Everyday
To make it through another
Day.

I've been thinking
Will all this careful planning,
Really matter
If tomorrow were the last?
We never get days back.
