Ears for the crowd
Lips for the writer
Rain for the clouds

Purple wears a jacket
And blue dances with the moon
He writes in rainbows
For the gold in a girl

If he could've bought her diamonds
It would've saved him the pain
Liquor for the violins
Numb for the brain

If he could've been a different man
Perhaps she would've stayed

Love for despair
Cowboys for angels
Trotting on mares

There are gardens for a woman
snakes for the scare
Poison for an old man
Decisions for mirrors

Black wears boots
While miracles wear truth
He wrote to her in metaphors
Deciphered in ****

A tree sheds its garments
Fall comes through
Seasons change everything
She was for you

Nothing last forever
Time is for youth
Broken is for the hearts
That thought eternal was true

Tears for an alligator
A crocodile for luggage
Traveling out of town
Looking for another

A forest found a lover
In an ocean of lingerie
Fish were found plenty
At a partys masquerades

Souls are for lovers
Lust is for lemonade
When life gives you lemons
Leaves give you shade

Fruit for the summer
The same as her name
Gone faster then she'd come here
Fools are for blame

Yellow wears a melody
Of blue turning green
New is for the calenders
Beginning of spring

He started a joke
But the joke was on he
Every one was laughing
As you know he was me

What would you desire
My hands kissing your back

What would you die for
My lips begging between your legs

If I could shake you
In goosebumps & throws

If I could make you an ******* rose

What would you desire
Under your nose

If I could love the flesh you grow

My beard scratching your breast
Your softness embedded in my bold

What could we be
If you wanted more

Than my poem

Day in waiting
Turn the page
Another story
Reads to an end

Flipping through
The chapters
And the lives they captured
Never knowing they would be read

Waiting for the day
The sun would set
In every memory
They never could forget

How they made the story
Every morning
For the starry night too collect

Day in waiting
Another book
Passing through the novel

Have you looked
At how the author models
Life inside his words

He is just waiting
For his pen to finish contemplating
Another day
Passing by his mood

In the darks corner

Cornered

Where the shadows
And the leaves
Departed trees

Through the winds whispers

A tornado of ghosts
Legions

Upon the gray skies
Purple with black eyes
Of hatred

The dark
Has cornered
Your woman

It took her

You stood there
When the laughs echoed
Screaming
    Demons

You missed her

But she was possessed
By an evil
Deceiver

Dressed with
The believer

In the darks deeper

She fell into the sleeper
Mesmerized by the black coal
Theater

The shadows
Performed on the walls
Feature

Your woman
Took a seat there

You could see her

In the darks corner
Cornered
Where the shadows
Beat her
She was taken away
Deeper

A lost soul
Fallen to the depths

Into the grasp

Of the grimmest
Reaper

This evil
Creeps into the heads

Spreading cancers as evolution
Evolving to death

**** demons
           Following men

While the devil dances with their women

This evil creeps
& crawls into skin
Slicing babies
& dicing their limbs

For the root of all evils
Shares in our sin
In generations of children
To what have they learned

Life so precious
It could be sold for worth
Trafficking disgust perverted
& birthed

This evil
Devouring flesh
Possessing the news
Where the truth is dead

It lives in our leaders
In each other it spreads
It denies our Jesus
And our way to be his

This evil
You feel in bed
When you think about
How you act
& what you did

Could you ever forgive
Like our God always has
For this evil
We submit to
When given the chance

I see you huddled in darkness
Hiding away from the world

You've created a space
To crawl into an escape
Cloaked in an imaginary cold

I see you shivering
And shaking
With goose bumps
Gnawing at your soul

I couldn't peel you away
From the shadows
Or lift you from the floor

You were glued to the madness
That took over your control
And I saw you fall into the deepest
Darkest hole

Into that abyss
That consists of a never-ending fall

You tied a rope
Around your throat
With the hope
To end it all

And that was the last time
I saw you
Hanging
At the edge of the world

Time to sweep up the shattered remains
Of our pained skins
On the floordust of misfortune
Our particles separate into the open
Atoms and molecules are left discombobulated Floating
Searching
For a nuclear family explosion
Frozen in times thawed out seconds and motion
Wait a minute
Hour time is hope for more of it
When it ends we can explore the meaning meant
And its mathematical arrangement
To human natures assignment
Tailored to our confinement of the naturally selected paths of the divine man's
Circumstances
Or should I said happenstance
Either way the sense makes cents
We consent to be sexually spent
In genders and rent of a bodys sent
Mission or penned
Poem song or said
Words are the direction
That have led
To everything
Till death
Do us part
And left
In the skulls breath
I sound a loud sigh pen
Dipped in the ink of a ***** tip
I slip into the myth
That somehow things will shift
Into a life lived fair of gifts
But after all this
my prayer
Is for the Lord to have mercy on my lips
For every word said lusted and kissed
Please take your foot off of my head
I don't understand what I've read
Or the illusions of choices and consequences
I pray for cents and sense
Knowledge and death if meant
The writing on the wall bled
A heaven sent message
Your value interprets nothing
Sorry but your blessing was left
Waiting for my guessing
And faith was trust in someones who is dead
But lives in a spiritual existence separate heaven where everything is better than the earths habits and preventions
Lifes extension or the mention of another world
Suspended there's a narrow gate entrance
For mini camels and the best blessed
Warning! However

You may not fit

Time
Is in the valley
Of deception
And we peruse
His face ticking
Perceptions
He is the master
To our slaving over
Every minute
We desire
More than our creator
Time
Orbits every spaces
Surface
Every matter
In every purpose
It passes age
With galactical rotations
Spinning in different directions
Obeying laws of obedience
Ticks and tocks walk across
Numbers in calender socks
Every wrist displaying a watch
So we know what to obey
When it looks at us back

Tilting back a glass of whiskey

My thoughts keep pouring
And my eyes drooped with me

I emptied the bottle
With countless swallows
To destroy memories

But what I really needed was
Another bottle

Together apart

United divided
We move forward
Broken in heart

Together apart

The world waits
On us

For love
Or death do us part

The night came
A day late
I told my calender
I wanted to date her

It was all
It was too

It was all too late
              To change

I told her I wanted the day
That lasts forever

The night came
           A day late
They say better late
                 Than never

But It was all
       It was too

It was all too late

I told my calender
I'm missing the days
I wanted more
Yet they kept slippin' away

I kept searching for the one that would stay

But my night came
           A day too late

She's too pretty
For an old shoe
A walk in the park
    With an old sole

She's much too beautiful
For a gray sky
Much too...

For an old soul

              Pretty

For a silver moon
           Candlelight
           And a heart
                   Blue

She's much too everything
                 Yesterday knew

     For an old fool
A shot in the dark
By a sparks mood

She's much too pretty
For an old youth
   An old song
That was new

Pretty for...

           You

           Know
The way she eyes
Your old heart

             Inside

                    You know
She's much too pretty
To like

Beautiful
For a rusted mind
       Too everything
For what you might

Consider alright

   Pretty

I pulled the trigger on living
The bullet entered my brain as a baby
I entered this world crazy
Misbehaving and curiously drivin'
I couldn't understand
The gun in my hand
And what I was doing
The big bang evoluted
And every thing I constituted
Colluded with the world
And life concluded
In the days and years of revolutions
I've been spinning around
And round since the decision
From the incision of the womb
Which brought me into this mission
I've tried to listen and be a christian
While death stalks me and mocks me
For my belief in Jesus
I've pulled the trigger on living
Because the next life I'll be in a kingdom
And all my sins of this world will be forgiven

The Word spoke
             Diamonds
In gold covered iron
While steel hearts forged
In verbal presses and pyrite
I molded
A cast
Formed
Of the past
thrown
In the back
Of my head cracked
In fire

I was shaped
A Metallic face
Encrusted with fate
That someday
I would be magnetic enough
To attract a mate

Ore maybe I'm not iron
Enough
To steel a heart
No matter what the word said
About populating earth
Filled with carbon and coal

For how much pressure does it take
For a diamond to show fate
Before it gets too old
To shine brilliance
On the face of this world

It was the coldest ice
He had ever said
It left her in a cold sweat
Shivers and shakes
How could this be love
Anger and hate
How could a kiss be a fist
In this religion made
Poor woman beaten to death
While the men mock
All that she loved
JaxSpade Jun 2019
A soft said
in a voice calm enough
To put you to bed

My love"

whispers crept
across my neck
With her tip toeing lips
Leaving red tracks on my skin

Embedded in a kiss
We dipped into the middle of the nights
Sweat
Panting and drips
Of sticky yes
Moaned while her tongue bit
Deeper into my flesh

My love"

In my ears
She chants
Every thing i want to hear
She does
What I ask
And In my ears
The softest laugh
The way she looks at me back
Playing my ears
Like a harp
Those magical fingers
Strumming my back

How could i not fall
Into this trap

Luring me with the love
I've always wanted
Teasing me with the allure of satisfaction
and what our bodies attracted

I'm
falling through your trap door

you caught me

Isoceclese
She was a triangle
I loved the shape
Her body angled

Mathematically

It was the way she slid
Acrosss my toxic masculinity
Eager to take a drink

Her two sides of equal length
Were beautiful
Along side her axis of symmetry
She was so acute

Mathematically

Isoceclese
In geometry
And she was everything
I had dreamed
She could be

The night was velvet
Goose bumps arrived
While nails slide across the chalkboards
Habit

Screeching
Everone was reaching
For their eardrums
                     Grabbin'

And I was sittin in the middle of this scene
Sandwhiched

I took out my note pad
And started scribblin
              Some scrabble
And here is what I wrote
In the bibble of my babble
~

The night was velvet
Soft in deep colors
And I was visually drowning
In the sea of misunderstanding
With the rest of the others

They wanted me to describe
The drastic destiny of why
We are all here

And when will we all die

On the last night you remembered
                            The night was velvet

The touch that affected you different
You felt that moment

The purpose of you being
Was alive in the breath you spoke
And when you spoke it
You said you'd die

When the life around you exploded

I couldn't question the answer
So I answered the question
Life is just a history of  lesssons

To test your knowledge of learning
What the gift is

And you've learned
The night was velvet

A soft downey skin
Tufted along the fabric of life in sin

When will this all end
As the goosebumps spark fear
In my head hoping I'm not accountable
For everything I did

I think about all I have read
And hope that it is adequate

But I feel the only thing that I've learned

Is...

The night was velvet

Violet comes again
As a triolet
Poetically formed
With a bayonet
To the guts of tryin'
Regrets
Hooked on an fish
Without a breath to live
In the wildin'
There must be a better way
Of dyin'
There should be another way
Or alchemy
Violet
Comes again
As a means
As a way of
My head
Cryin'
On the hills of sirens
Flashing pirates
Skull bones and riots
I wish I was cyan
But I'm violet
Charcoal and wired
Between
I'm dyin'

I'm dyyyyyyin'

I'm dye in
Violet
As a triolet
I can feel it
Vibrant;  vibrate
Islands
Specifically ask me
Why here
Whyyyy here
Should I stay quiet
Silent
Should I ever care
Or Giant
I'll be violet
Because it comes again
And again to me
I'll just be
That color
And shine it

Shiiiiiiiine it!

I'll ever be
  I'll ever be

Violet pours poetry
It comes again
Coloring
Violet pours poetry
Velvet and consciously
It comes blood read
Violet pours poetry
It comes again

As a triolet.......
                              …
                                    ..
Violet comes again as the nights eyelets lace the stars heads
Purple and sky lit
Lavender scents a bruise
Hit
The color of heart
Pulsing Magenta and red
Hurts to pound those memories left

Under ultraviolet rays pierced
The skins shade
Tan and beige blurs

Violet comes again
On a Royal colored path
Of hopes golden

A search for trees
just may bring
a little more oxygen

Red found indigo blue
In a deep purple brew
Of passionate sizzurp made
In a kool aid smiles tooth

As the stars unraveled
The permanent scramble
Of scales and dues
We traveled the purple
And pattern to the lantern
That lights our spirits
and allows us youth

Violet came like a hurricane
Hurling winds colored in views
Sipping on my mango beer
I Cheers to the God who knew

Majestic mountains painted
On the bounty of mutiny
Colored a landslide of falling rocks
Which boulder my enemy

The prayer of Jabez I said to the Lord if I could be closer to yours would you expand my territory

in the meat of scars
Violet keeps coming
and came unto me humming
If it be in your will
have mercy on my flesh
Pummeled

so I stumbled upon the earthly
Paths crumble
a violet me
Bruised bullied
And troubled

Knowledge found in the rubble
Left the truth upright and stable
uncovered
The shade of a grapes mother
Painted on me violet and wine in a stars cluster
I am just one In a trillion of the same difference building
Trying to ketchup
Instead of mustard

Waiting for the world to happen
There's a whole lot of distant staring

A cold fog galavants around town
And thickens in the glaring

The glass of my eyes crack
As the world looks back
And asks
Where I am going

But I couldn't reply
Because of my
Lack of
Knowing

I'm just waiting for the world to happen
I hear its going to end in some dramatic fashion
Yeah I've lost my passion
And everything I write deserves a trash can

There's a whole lot of distant staring
And a whole lot of prayers for someone caring

I hear there's hope in the end
If I just pretend
There's a god out there
To help me with the coping

Yeah I wish I was joking
While I'm waiting for the world to happen
I was hoping I could hold your hand and
Disappear in the moment passing

I know I sound creepy
To want a woman who needs me
Because without one I feel myself weaken
I'm like the last of the mohicans
Hoping to last longer than this weekend

Waiting for the world to happen
I wish I could be like everybody else laughing
As the world revolves
I resolve to just forget about it all
While I'm photographin'

Waiting for the world to happen

If I could die
Would I be alive
Or gone

If I could live
Would it be like this
Or not

If I could dream
Of a better peace
What would it be

If I could understand God
Could I be a man
Without one

So what is the wicked world
Confined behind the bars of fools

Consumed by the man and girl
And It keeps each spin of the atmospheres
In the lust and desires of who

Dreams of the end by wars
Or a climate changing her
Under her rainbows
Reminding each neighbor
The end will always draw near

So what is the wicked world
Dark in her prince
Witch does so much work

The fear of the mirror
Each man succumbs dearer
To himself
Instead of his God

There she was
Standing in the rain
Like a flower
With a sun shower on her face

Such a weird day

With the rain and the sun
Holding hands
While my thoughts escaped

There I was observing
The beauty of today
It didn't care about my mirror
Or the mole on my face

I was caught in a sun shower
And a beautiful girl
Wiping off her makeup
To reveal her how her true skin was made

She looked so much better
In the sun shower

Perhaps that is why it came

I could hear the stars whispering

Before the moon sat me down
Next to my conscious disappearing

I didn't need a fire
Because the sun had left the night warm

Yeah
The stars kept talking
And some of them swore

I could hear them whispering
About the beaten shore

They didn't like the noise it made
When the waves pounded on her floor

I asked them why it mattered
When they are so far

They said they wanted peace
And quiet

Instead of war

Moonshine
Filled your eyes
And your stagger
Stood there
Wobbly
On the rocks
Stirring steadily
I salute your glass
And drank heavily
Till the task danced
With the medly
As we came together
With the night so friendly
Our hearts sank into the bottles empty
But the moon couldn't shine all night
And we woke to the ugly site
Of the morning in goodbye
Sober and ending

Love is
Pork chops and apple sauce
Corn bread and honey spread

Your legs

I found lovin
Inside the oven
    With spices
Warmed good

I don't need to be angry
                         Anymore
Because I've found my source
                              Of love here
            Inside your house

And I'm ready for dessert

                          Cherry pie
With whipped cream eyes
I found love inside
          Your private

                 Love is

Cooking for the guy

Invisibly
        She sat miserably
In a bubble of space and time

He was on the other side
       Drowning in whiskey
And anything else he could find

        Back to back
Instead of face to face
        Their choices
     Sculpted design

                  And the misery
                  Lived infinitely
In the backs of their tortured minds

As the dust settled
On the shelves middle
A polish somehow arived

      And they were wiped
          From their sorrys
        And belated armies
That never fought for their lives

The hours track my count
They watch me fulfill the clock

All the gong strikes
Fallen upon my bout

How many more rounds
Before I win
Or get knocked out

My energy tracks my strength
How much is left
How much more can I take

The calendar tracks my days
It watches me waste
All the years fly
Faster than the blue
In the sky
Paints

And as time cries
Her goodbyes
Memories fade and die
Eventually we all
Get x's in our eyes

All we can do
Is enjoy the ride
Kick back
And follow life
God
How much more daze
Do I got
How many more suns
Will my shoes
Travel on

As my destiny counts my fate
I grow into an old age
And my youth counts my aches
How many more pains
Could a man own today

All I can do is pray
Somewhere there is a heaven
Waiting for my face

I'm getting closer
The distance counted my measure

And I'm close to the treasure

But I
Still

Have to get there

No matter how long
                    It takes

Why did you make me write it
Pushing my pen because you want to fight it
You just want to see my ink spill
And my blood drip into the ink well
I dipped my quill in the bloodguilt
For every man I've killed his poor brain cells
With my alphabetical spells proped up like metaphorical discounts
Reasoning your doubts
With insurance that pays out
Go back to what I've written
And listen to your consciousness
Ask yourself the questions
There is an answer to every lesson
In the message you keep guessing
On each and every word I'm professing
You made me write it
And ignite it to the level
Of excited because you wanted to hear some
Rhythmic words delighted
Into Figments of imaginary
Fire
I wrote this down
Because you suffer from not knowing
Why is now
And you weren't cooperating
With what  you knew about
The blood spilling the inks mouth
So you could know how to bettter control your self
For who controls you
When no one knows who
You really are

I fell into sleep
Unto a dreams spell

I found myself
On the bottom
Of a deep well

On the coins
Of wishers
I rolled on the wishes
And I heard one shout

I wish I could be
Someone else

And another one said
I wish I was rich somehow

I heard all the wishes
Some for death and some for clout

Each one upon a coin sang out loud

They all wanted something in their life
That wasn't allowed

The last wish was for world peace
I heard the voice say proud

But It just fell to the bottom
Of this waterless well

With no one to ever grant them
They just sat in piles

Wishing to be granted
What our God could have

Red Green Horizons
The speed of driving
As wind blows over my shaved head
          I ignore the sirens
Because I am not violent
        But I guessed again
Now I am wanted
         Not by a girl
                        But by men
Because I shot the Sheriff
      With the deputys gun

I couldn't afford to be good

So I became the cowboy
         With a wanted face
Posted on every poster
On every Saloon
                 In every state
Riding on my steel horse
While the news watches the chase
I knew I would be famous
   But maybe not this way

It doesn't really matter
                         Anyway

Because I'm full throttle
        Drinking on a bottle

And I'm gettin away

But I'm not riding a Harley
I bought an Indian instead

I'm no longer law-abiding
                         Or a citizen
I'm an outlaw fighting
For another way to live

              Blue lives scattered
They mattered only to death
And I was on my way

To being a better man

             Red green horizons
                                   Drivin'

One hundred and six

Just a few more miles
              And I'll be set
In the sun rising
Without any debt

I'm a ghost rider
                    Hero

In a world without a friend

Boy cried wolf!

He said could you help me sir

The wolf said,
                        I'm a wolf

I would rather eat you instead

Oh goody!

I've just peppered my
Skin with a little salt
It taste just like you want!

The wolf cried boy!
Have you lost your mind

I'm supposed to hunt
For my tooths grind

You offer me skin
Free to dine
This must be a trick
            To trap mine

The boy cried Wolf!

   I'm willing to die
      I would rather be eaten
        Than to stay alive

Oh  please believe me !
       I wouldn't lie

Couldn't you have a bite?

The wolf cried boy!
You're a fox real sly
I dare not eat your
Temptous hide

For I do not trust
in the words you cry
And this time
I must pass you by

The boy cried!

wolf!
         wolf!

But no one heard

The wolf cried boy that was absurd!

Under a steam boat
Swim
Fighting the current there
Oh what a night
Overhead
Paddling through bubbles
Holding the air
Swim
                 Stroke
The cold rivers bed
Listen to the music
What that voice swallowed in
Throw out your roses
It's the last night of prayers
Don't look for me anymore
I'm not coming up for
Air
Under a steam boat
Swim
Arm over arm
This is the last goodbye
Waving there
Oh What a night
To swallow in
Sinking in the voice
Of your mojo pin
Throw out your roses
On the heavens stairs
Don't look for me anymore
I'm not coming up for
Air

I won't write away
The right of way
Of me at a four way stop
The sign says go

If you're on the left side of a cop

Pull me over
Tell me I'm wrong
Maybe I've misinterpreted the law
Charge me a fine
If I don't comply
Money will make it alright

If it's not

I won't write away
Anything said or mentioned above
The right of way allows me to make
The best decision I've got

We all have arrived at the same time

I yield,
But I still crashed hard

Because even though I obey
The others will wreck

Unfortunately I didn't have any
Dimethylaminophenyldimethylpyrazolondiethylmalonylurea
In my cabinet
The belief I need a license for medicine
Rages my antidiestablishmentarianism
In God we Trust the separation of church and state
And we live interdenominationalistically to relate
Finally an Oral gel gives me a break
Numbing the longest words made
And my toothache

So sad

Captured in sullen
Fractured
And crestfallen
Take my hand
You're not alone

Sometimes life
Can make you crawl

So sad

Captured in a moment
Broken
And despondent
Take these arms
And hold them
You're not alone

Sometimes life can
Break you down

So sad

Captured and disheartened
Crushed
And beaten
Take my love
Wrap it around you
You're not alone

Sometimes life can
Be too hard

So sad

Captured and disconsolate
Damaged and meloncholy
Take my shoulders
And lean on em'
You're not alone

Sometimes life is
Lachrymose

And I saw a few words

They were laying in the dry gutter
Someone must of lost them
When they tried to utter

         You I love

             Love you I

    I love you

These words I found
I arranged them in different arounds

I
  you
     love

No matter which way it comes
Sounds
           Good

I found these words
And I think ima give away some

If you put out your hand
I'll put mine in yours
And we could be love

I found these words
Sittin on the curb
And I was just hoping

You'd like to do one

Falling apart
The distance between
Remains so large
The memories forget
What they were made for

That faint love that faded
Into replacements
That never fulfill
And it's all too late
To recover what was killed

The corspe of yesterdays
Left in the past images
Rotting in the brain

I call the zombies of the world
To feed on what's left
And I offer my heart
To add to the buffet

Apart from falling
My thoughts are telling me
It's ok

Everything they consumed
You gave

If there is a loss
It is theirs to lose
In the belly of their grave

They ate that distance
Like a triple layer cake
And when they finish devouring
That sugar
Their teeth will decay

For what they put in their mouths
Was a sweet talk
And now they have nothing to say

Falling
Apart

Together was not
Anything left on their plate

For they ate
And the only thing left
Is to digest
The waste

Don't fucc around
                They said

These weren't words from my pastor
Written in red

But the message was there

                 If you fucc around
You eventually get fuct yourself

Middle fingers and knuckles
SLinging

Sayin fucc the world

The world said fucc you back!

And said"
?who the fucc are you

D'ont fucc around

       Listen or learn
How to behave yourself

Because Mr.Hardway
Is always in town
Lookin for men

Who fucc around
