Part 1

Cheer up, dear souls faint not by the way,
For Jesus is here to brighten each sad and lonely day,
Here's an arm around your shoulder comforting you;
Whenever you need it, whenever you feel blue.

There's a song for your heart when  joy left you,
Here's sunshine for you whenever you feel blue,
Here's Jesus knocking at your heart;
Waiting for you to open it up to Him and make a fresh new start.

Here's happiness for you whenever you feel sad,
Here's peace for you whenever you feel angry or mad,
Here's gladness for you when you thought there was no light;
Here's day for you when you there was nothing but night.

Here's a hug for you one so warm and tight,
When you thought there was nothing but the cold embrace of night,
Here's a friendship for you from me;
When you thought a friend with you could never be.

Now wipe those tears from your face,
For soon you'll be showered in love and grace,
Let's join hands and friends forever be;
In a circle my friends, and you and me.

For everybody as we all need happiness, sunshine, love, comfort, and friends.
Snow blind
unkind
as blurred shadows dance
within the ice...

her mirrored form
born of light

a snow summoned mirage

a phantom

a spectral entity beckoning
with long slender
fingers...

air borne
twirling flakes
covering her modesty

eyes echoing
the emptiness of meadows

a kelidascope of
blues and greens
amidst Hazel browns and golds

her lips azure
whisper upon the breeze
calling me
to follow

and follow I must

for I am hope
and unspoken promises

for in her arms are held
my dreams
for

I am the Spring.

Cant we be broken together?
Our jagged parts could make a picture
Our rough edges could make a life
That we would both be better off living

I'm a selfish little school girl
Who doesn't know the cost
And I wish that I was broken
I wish that I was lost

have you forgotten
what it's like
to breathe

fresh air?

have you forgotten
how to see
(the sunrise)
with your heart?

have you lost your way
on another cold,
dreary
day?

is the sun hiding from you
or do you hide from it?
the blue jay will sing
whether you listen or not.

will you leave another note
to yourself
reminding of the time
when you sang too?

it won't be forgotten.

first light leaves
a mark
that won't rub off
no matter how many buckets of bleach.

Why did he shoot it?
I ask myself every day
Now that he's gone away
(again)
And I'm in control again.

He had the choice,
a shot or a dagger,
but when it came to it,
the dagger would have sufficed.

He didn't really seem to give a ****
Maybe that was the machine inside of him,
pushing his luck
fulfilling his wish to
****
fight
and win.

Oh boy, well he ******
and he fought and he won,
**** sure on that one.
You only gotta do it once to know
Now a dagger just won't be enough.

The question then becomes;
When does enough end?
