come with me as we frolic upon the hedges of sweet ****** roses
as we twist and turn with the cold west wind from the abyss beneath
come dance through the graves of the past to which all shall join
such music that brings pure thrill to the heart that ones beat loud
silence is but the end to which we all dance together bones to ash
hand in hand around a funeral fire guided by the music of death

Would you love me the same
even if can't tell whats right or wrong
would you still hold my hand
even if i get lost in all my thoughts
would you still sit by my side
even if i can't remember your name

how some see the stars in the distance
lovely yet in the coldness they shiver
voiceless they shine bright in existence
they swirl in the night like a flowing river

nights such as this i try to wonder
are we like the stars often silent
gleaming in the quiet dark we suffer
filled with shinning hope and talent

what comfort shall i find?
within my troubled mind,
where shall i go to find
this small peace to confine?

i seek to rest like many before
where one who can console
a lost youthful soul

Take me to your only Garden,
I wanna see the world you've found!
Sit me underneath the trees,
I wanna see what you believe!

we who are born to suffer
the burdens of the world
have learned that we are born
to solve it and never leave it
in the dark to bring forth
the comfort that is now and beyond

tired of all the needless beating
tearing out my heart out all in blue
you once said "I'll never let you go"
yet those words just slipped away
we both seem to hate the ending
but it seems we could actually breathe

To much rhyming
It is as if a bell is chiming
Or the wolves in the night howling
Now stop using such peculiar timing
Listen to these words, or receive a pining

Look how they act; look how they do;
like rats in a maze - ant's behind glass...
what would happen if I raised a lens;
and made them burn or tossed around
the turtle on a beach to watch him struggle?

Like watching paint dry on a wall or smell glue;
small talk so inane, insatiable, swirling brass...
What is so desirable in chosen ones;
are the stand-up puns at all so sound?
Or is it just like a hoarcrux to a muggle...

Am I nauseous, little sick or out blue;
the doctor gave up his office last
time I visited for my CAT and was gone!
Good riddance, never liked his taunt:
judging my nature with stamped ogle.

What should I wear? I got no clue;
I got nifty shades of think fast --
After all is wrapped up, Job is done;
his friends are still sour like on a haunt...
Should I stalk some books and gobble...

What would happen if I cut food
from it's source and would not taste.
Letting it rot away to behold like a drone;
how the flies gnaw away... hosting like a gaunt
to add to the deceit with eased gentle...

corruption is an old song we've been singing in harmony
a cancer that grows steadily for the last couple of century
politicians play around making a foolery of democracy
every proclamation and deliberation left a print of legacy
to which our people live in division and poverty
amendments and changes are need to solve this hypocrisy
the young sacrifice themselves for liberty and equality
lets not fallout of virtue and devoid ourselves of honesty
When we challenge those who abuse their duties and authority

Writing poetry for girls I never loved
Wish I found the reason to say
that I'm too afraid to be left unloved

If I could say those three words
without choking in my asphyxiation
and my eyes swelling to a teary blurred

Then somehow I could be just okay
So please spare my pride if you can
And forget I said anything to you today

how does one hold your gentle heart?
with hands like my filled with scars
holding broken shards that fell apart
those i have loved and fell like stars

how does one love with hands like this?
someone who's rough and blistered
compared to you my dear young miss
my heart has been tired and weathered

The Sakura blooms with life
Everything is dying around it
Sakura wants to change this world with one petal at a time
Spreading this hope out with pride
Don't care if she fail as long as her message is out there
"No more death to this home" it says
Walking forth head held high
Being strong for the world to see her

Torn pages upon a growing book.
The story tells with joyous tone.
But dawns on its renunciation.
Lost sight to write the future.
Swept by lack of change.

To know a person,
a person that is alive behind shut eyelids;
a body only present,
able to be physically held, caressed,
but not able to be talked to,
a sleeping soul in a human being,
is the body even human now at all?

To know such a person,
a person in such a slumber,
it is only right to wonder:
how long will it take
for the soul to awaken again?

To tie a noose around your fragile neck

To die with your last thoughts and breath

Think not of it as merely a rope on a dead mans neck

But a necklace of hope to which he finally knew rest

she wrote sweet poems
she captures the light of day
and the coldness of the night
as her words waltz to her song
she claims she loves me
but in those script filled sea
she never once mentioned me
for those words once belong to me

Here we are at last
The turning of the tides
Where are secrets are revealed
And put all our differences aside

We go up to the light
A sight for all to see
For we will be together
For all eternity

There was a time
Not so long ago
Where we decided,
To take things slow

A crossroads of time
A loss of trust
Leaving was a crime
And a act of lust

But now here,
In this light of day
Now we both know
And there no words we need to say

every war is different yet every war is the same,
men are pawns who's lives are but just a game,
to seek glory and honor amidst the slaughter,
here the rich profits behind such safe walls,
hearing the of cruel echos of this laughter,
joined by the field of battle to which dreamers now fall,
such is the faith of those who march with pride and shame,
to those who have fallen by such carnage and unjust death,
i raise a toast to you and a voice for the silent may you rest in eternity.

When freedom collides with happiness
You will feel what you wanted to feel
Safe within a simply special warm home
The feeling of closing your eyes and soar
Through the clear blue heavenly sky
With the soft clouds, glistened by rays
And the birds that sing while you daze
Cold breeze that brushes and passes
Breaking the silence, we awaken in a panic
Ah, the beauty we all are needing and missing
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
The sky is so light,
it shows it's might,
with unique space,
and heaven's grace,

Can you feel this feeling?
do you think we're dreaming?
with the shinning stars nearby,
come watch asteroids pass by,

I can stare at it forever,
I hope it lasts forever,
It's worth the endeavor,
it's full of wonder,

Reach out your hands,
reach out your hearts,
come with me and dart,
come with me and start,

Look at that planet there,
look at that lovely star glare,
it's something magnificent,
it's something pleasant,

The universe is something grand,
It's full of mysteries and unknown,
it's beautiful and painful to see,
Beneath the Starry Skies.

I swear they can see them quite clear
Over the trenches the same face of fear
you can hear them muffle and whisper
Voices of foes from the other side

You can hear them calling
Marching through field of the dead
They fought till the end
Till they fell with our fallen side by side

And deep in thought like petals white,
Of clearer mind of none to spite.
For what's the most too hold so dear,
Before the stain of blackish fear.
Steel your mind, and widen your gaze,
Speak the truth between the maze.
To yield the self of pain and hate,
To know yourself of futures fate.

When days feel down and unforgiven
When night falls you are my only escape
I've been waiting for a chance of heaven
Come morning light you'll be my mistake

Something I wanted to genuinely feel
You're more than just a moment of fun
You gave me something surreal yet so real
You're my one dream and not anyone

A sweet soul that dreams alone lingers awake
A sweet white rose a glowing angel in the dark
When you lay alone I feel a painful heavy ache
My fallen earthly angel my own shooting star
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Starry night sky seem so grand
Gilded lifetimes never so bland
In stories of legends of you and me,
Stories and legends of bold and free
If you are sad, point up high
There's a fairy girl that never lets you cry
Instead she holds your tears to dry
So hold on, dear, and never let go
Read with me gently, just near the window
Explore with my loyal pet, a mystical wolf
That I met one summer's day, sitting 'lone on the loft
And stand mighty upon this hundreds of tales, never forget them
Shout out your dreams to the careless wind and hold out your own
And seek out truth from beneath what you wrote, but remember
Never forget, you are my dearest, my star, my precious daughter

When I go outside,
I see the blue sky,
I see the birds fly,
I see the clouds move,

Your sight is something unique,
your sight is what makes life breathe,
this is the beauty of viewing,
this is the wonder of looking,

Take not your eyes for granted,
take not your thoughts of chances,
your eyes are most important,
your sight is a lovely component,

As you read these words,
as you see these words,
they are just a urge,
they are just a surge,

To see the cats walking past you,
to see the cars dart fast past you,
I love to hold hands with my love,
I love to see and look at my love,

I know you can relate to this,
I know your face is just like this,
your eyes make the connection,
your eyes are just made perfection,

There's no greater enchantment,
there's no greater enhancement,
to look at the dark night sky,
to look at all the neon lights nearby,

Now, as you know now,
now, as you know then,
now, as you have been,
now, "Just Open your Eyes"

can I not be true to myself
without breaking apart
can I genuinely smile
without feeling so empty
why can't I just be normal
like everyone around me

I’ll remember the time we've spent
I’ll remember those cries you've wept

We used to call each other names
Sticks and stones that were in good faith

We’ve conquered what we saw in the world
Kings and lords but we are brothers after all

Witnessed the fruits of our labors
Turned to a glutton’s cash papers

Drafted into needless costly wars
Holding each other for little warmth

As a friend’s tears start as he rushes to intervene
A comrade’s last laugh as he falls dead at the scene

The way Humanity deals with loss, is to stop trying at all
The way animals deal with loss, is to stop trying at all.
That response is true through out the universe
its simple genetic code telling us to act that way,
but the thing that separates humans from animals is that we have people around us.
people that don't want to see you sad
people that always look to the light when your stuck in the dark.
Darkness consumes all hope, but people carry light wherever they go
through the good and bad, the ups and downs
always remember that strangers are friends you haven't met yet
friends are the guiding lamp at night,
and never falter to follow when you go into the dark.

tie yourself with a rope
life brings broken hope
always little open scope
such painful wounds I cope

Believe me when I say ‘You are alone’
I feel the shivering cold in my bone
Express your feelings within my own

Full of debt
Never properly slept
Always sadly wept
Wish I had something
Yet stolen treasures that once kept
I am unsuccessful, a failure... I am ******

You'll push me to continue the strife
While you'll steal the air i breath
And use it for your own little greed
You'll strangle and choke me till i'm white
Praying to persist for both your peace

You'll personally take me to my grave
Just you watch as i fade
You may say we're blood
But the thought just makes my blood boil

o sweet cold embrace of the abyss
lovely is your darkening kiss
you oblivion paradise always on my mind,
Body cold and stiff, now my pain I've left behind
eternal slumber I wait your sing call

I'm escaping all of the harm
And giving myself to you
so please accept me with open arms

Flittering, fluttering ,dancing in their flight
Glittering like emeralds throughout the night
The dance begins before sunset and goes on by the light of the moon
It is a ritual we hope wont end soon
In may every lighting bugs get excited
To this dance every firefly is invited
The dance begins when they hover in the air
Then one by one turn on their light for flair

She is the silence before a storm
A flickering flame in the cold
The flower in the wild

She is the message never sent
a book never touched
A story left untold

She is the dark side of the moon
A dream that never came alive
A diamond in the rough

She is something only
A few can understand

Engulfed by life's mortal flame
Such words are that of thunder
A storm that can't be tame
Who's eyes is filled with wonder

Unbent and unbroken
A beacon of might
Unbowed and unspoken
A purger of blight

With grace to match an angel’s wrath,
And rage from hell below,
Had forged ahead a crimson path
And buried midst the foe

Forward they cried hiding in the safety of the rear
As the men in the front rank die face filled with fear

And see the battle lines change from the field map
Seeing it move side to side as their boys falter and die

We envisioned of a promising start
Still we dream in the dark most part
The game we play is that of chess
Pieces we sacrifice is light on the chest

You see time in memorial politics here always aim
To support and oppress the poor all the same
No matter what side left or right its a shame
To stay on top of the scandalous political game

As the stars fade away,
Replaced by the light of day.
As the ocean covers our feet,
And the birds roam free.

I can hear my name,
Hear my name in the air,
I don’t know how it came
Don’t know from where.

I found where I am meant to be,
For your smile is all I see.
Here I am unable to let go of,
This pleasant feeling I call love.

Let us soar together endlessly,
Let us reach past our destiny,
Where our love will never die,
Just beyond the Vanilla Sky...

My heart thunders in my ears
As I rise up and away
Gloriously far from all my fears
To face a radiant new day

Alongside the sun and stars
Up here is where I know
Freedom isn't that far
From where I dance in the gods' meadow

The sky is luminous and I am bright
High above the world I left behind
While some weep and others fight
I've found peace in my mind

Outlined with angelic light
Untainted by the evils' spite
My universe will not forever last
But for now it's the future and not the past

this men who are myopic in vision,
narrow minded in their thoughts,
have begun to make incisions for division
who with greed for power still plots,

they who are full of spite,
they who abuse such prosperity,
to scorn at our tranquility in the night,
using their given rank as authority,

those who corrupt and continue to corrupt,
censuring the emotions of the people,
Our true feelings shall bound to erupt.

hearts they have afflicted and subjugated,
have now planted the seeds of discord,
from these seed shall grow a twisted tree,
it shall bear poisoned fruit and rotten in scent,
they shall reap from it a death of a future generation,
and that field shall be the ruin of the nation.

I'm but a mere humble soldier
my heart is tied to my motherland
I fight for freedom whilst I forfeit my life
as I run upon the field of death

I do not stand alone in the smog
I do not run against my fate
for the angels guide me
I fight for my honor to which i am unworthy

I do not walk unknowingly
the all this risks I understand
for the lord ventures with me,
each and every day

If the day comes that I fall
I surrender my soul to his warm embrace
remember me not just by name
but the deeds I've done and the sacrifice I gave

I'm a soldier first and foremost
A son of the nation I was born
A friend to all peoples
A comrade of peace and order
A brother to my fellow servicemen
A fierce and honorable warrior
and a servant till the end of my breath
and of my beating heart
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
I remember walking by
The humid summer's fireflies
From whence they came well I know not
As I chased them round the little hut

I saw the moon and heard the wolf's howl
For how it made my heart so proud
With lightning feet, they carried my way
Through paths and grass, by night and day

Once I reached for the morning star
Its  beams that keeps at bay the dark
And tried to catch the West wind's song
But my lips can't hold the sound for long
In June I jumped over cliffs and fells

And drank thirsty from the cooling wells
Which brought life and strength to burning throat
The life-giving stream I crave most
I climbed the pine tree I called friend

And spent the day up there to no end
The cones they stuck to my hair and clothes
Such was the joy I felt those days
When nature was at its best in every way

Now I come home while holding a child
I peered in the lawn and saw no pine
Nor did I hear the grey wolf's cry
The song of wind I fear has died

I drank from a bottle and there I saw
Why my throat has always felt raw
The difference between this and what once I knew
Is the purity of the mountain dew

I sat on the grass and felt life
And as if like a child from dark to light
I clung to it and felt my eyes moister
For there she was, the evergreen mother

I looked to the sky and saw the sun
And gazed at the face of my smiling son
When was it that I craved the poison of smoke
Of dangerous liquor that deprives me of hope

When was it that I forgot the moon and the call of the wild?
When was it that I desired acceptance and destroyed  green life?
When was it that I once ran through the glorious wood?
When was it that I threw away wastes of my food?

The rain, it fell so soothing from my eyes
I wipe it with a trembling hand and rise
And hugged my child and whispered with a sigh
"Son, would you like to see the fireflies?"
