Welcome to the City of Wind
Welcome to the Sea of Grass
Welcome to the Fields of Wheat
Welcome to the heart of our own

A new generation from an older set in stone
We grind our wheat
We burn the chaff
We bake our bread
We set our clocks for the next season

It would be a lie if I told you it was easy
But here we are and here we'll stay
Day after day
Hour by hour
The paths we tread mark your road

It's bliss the way we run
Forthright and true as the birds of the air
We beasts of the earth
Not for burden but abundance
Freedom found in the rows we sow

So welcome now to the town we love
To the roads we know
To hearth of our home
Your welcome to a seat at out table
To the bread that we break

So please come stay a while

Welcome to Indie Rose

my people are deep in sleep
they are numb to the cold
yet they dream of liberty and peace
only when they are but asleep
they sleep under a house
that is slowly crumbling
believing only in a dream
but living the nightmare as they sleep

they are silent they are motionless
they are just near to death
but they still breathe they still sleep
as the house starts to fall
and the ship starts to sink

Every step
Every path
Every choice I make
Is a step closer

A leap of faith
That's all it takes
To forget this world
And what it makes

lay down and be still, hold your breathe
close your eyes and count to three
silence consumes and peace be enjoyed
fading seethe now forgotten beneath
such tears roll slowly as you are truly free
the pain once felt now forgotten in the void

forsaken with love
cast from above
we relinquish our fears
we've repressed all these years
for a night of elegance
and a bit of romance
so we may all get a chance
to have this one dance
to a waltz of beauty
played out like a movie
for only our appeal
no words can describe its feel
and enjoy it until the end
only to begin again.
under the moonbeams
only imagined in dreams.

Time has passed and doubts that grew each day
Yet past memories seem to slowly fade away
Still, I remember it vividly as if it was yesterday
Hoping that nothing has ever changed I pray

till we meet again till i see that sweet petulant smile
when the warm summers breeze brushes against your hair
I hope your kindred heart stays even for a while
until our conversations filled the fresh open air

I wish there was any time in this world for us
but I know you'll leave us forgotten in dust
so smile again my dear lady for the future looks bright
don"t look back it is okay to let go
you're in such wondrous height

Here I was lying on the ground as snow was covering my body
I could feel my blood drained away from my body
I looked to my left and saw my friends' bodies lying lifeless one on top of each other
I used all my force and waited for someone to come but no one
I was all alone
The only one left
Surrounded by bodies of friends and enemies (but were they really enemies)
I tried to remember why was it that we did called them enemies but I could not remember ...
I could feel that I was going to die so I closed my eyes
But just then I heard a sound
I saw a bird there flying up in the sky
A free bird , who could go anywhere it wanted
"Ahhh... What a beautiful bird!" I said.
At least before I go I could see one beautiful thing in this life
A final scene of serene peace on this earth

when a perfect love comes
you came along somehow
yet you have to walk away
from something so strangely beautiful,
that was meant for each other
still it was never meant to be
though we would risk it all
but destiny decides our fate
but maybe not in this time
maybe in another lifetime
we'll be together and you'll be mine

I won't kiss you nor bare to see you ,
Cause the hardest part of all this,
Is that I'm leaving you without any warning,
With all this painful agony I still feel today,
This will never last but if it was to stay with you,
I would endure it as long as you'll be true,
So don't go counting my days away,
And hold me before everything starts to fade.

She Flies through the sky with a smile on her face
A long journey to reach her goal was not wasted
She left her Kingdom in search for what is freedom
Her journey led her to a village where she met her best friend
They left there home in search for something greater
They laughed, they cried, they got lost together
They met new people past the Empire
And found new things no one has ever seen before
As they fly towards the sunset upon a Dragon
they remember that there are things that cannot be simply explained;
Water spirits, Dragons, Beings with power, Magic, Mystical Creatures
only heard in Story Books
As some day they realized that Freedom is whatever they want it to be
And they chose this Freedom a long time ago
Whatever is their next Adventure going to take them?

Drowning in the fog of yours
Living behind closed doors
Shrouded in your shadow
Caught in the river's flow
Breathing in your scent
In love with life, content
Protected by your embrace
I'd follow you any place
This timeline of contradiction
A consensual constriction
Lovingly wraps me in chains
As I walk with you in the rain
Our romance is binding
Your absence would be blinding
For you, I will do anything
The sacrifice is worth everything

Where honor lies
Where duty dies
How too shall your morality cry?
What is essential?
What makes you decide who matters?
To give life to one and deny it to another is more than a choice.
It's a burden.
It is not the path you choose.
That life is forsaken

o wondrous wandering lights
upon a clear summer night
waltzing among the cosmos
weaving odes among those
leaving enigmatic constellations
to tales that still sing of legends old

through suffering we realize the meaning and importance of life

even that makes me believe in eternity

Back when people believe in dragons,
Guardians of the heavens beautiful sky,
Thunder and lighting that flash and roar,
The bulwark against monsters and demons,
That is what they were,

Until people slowly stopped believing in them,
And suddenly they simply forgot,
No funerals nor mourns but silence,
Now they are just fading ink and paper,
What a wondrous glorious fantasy,
That dies in our waking reality.

Monsters were there to attack us...
They the dragons protected us...
We did nothing but watch...

Life... It is a curious thing.
They place those with intellect on a pedestal.
Praise them & congratulate them for their foresight.
Never once considering it as lucky fate.
One mistake is all it takes.
The once praised became blamed.
Countless maimed & forever chained.
I accept this fame.
History will remember this stain.

many great noble men we have come to idolize
rush themselves as if they were running out of time
sometimes its hard to put ourselves and even realize
the loss and the hardship when they were in their prime

battles have been fought and duels were made
chivalry a gentleman's standard his honor and pride
everything for a legacy a price too high had been paid
fate has destined that noble men die young as they stride

The night is littered with gleaming gems
I've seen my country under its twilight stars
Gold horizon breaks the sky as morning rise
I have seen my people under the sun
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
I drown among the clouds
Dying to see what it shrouds
Deep above and sinking down
Seeing you in such a white gown

Falling like the tears of time
You once sang such melody rhyme
Days when I held you have set me free
This drowning feeling feels surreal to me

You are but another golden dream
Drifting on the heavens cosmic stream
My angel who walks above the cloud snow
You who have made my heart glow
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Figures dancing gracefully
Through a silver storm
Across my memory
Held safe and warm
My heart yearns to remember
your lips from December

Starlight, twilight,
Course upon the endless night.
And wish we may and wish for more,
Through vast known quantities to explore.
Down from day, soar on May,
First of stars we might soon stay.
Leap across that ocean sea,
And spread beyond for eternity.

It was years ago that we met
By the shining silver sea
Into our hearts love we let
By the shining silver sea
Two strangers together
By the shining silver sea
To love we surrender
By the shining silver sea
Both of us searching
By the shining silver sea
Our hearts they were lurching
By the shining silver sea
You took my hand
By the shining silver sea
And for once I understand
By the shining silver sea
I thought I was alone
I thought I could turn to stone
No one would know
No one would care
But...love will now grow
You and I will now bear
The trials of life not alone
We will have flown
To the shining silver sea.
migayle ocuaman May 2021
you are young
you have so much
so much in time given
you have one life
as well as one death
it would be best
to have a purpose
to put meaning in it
as you wander along
alone or with company
do not waste it in the rain
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Would you mind coming with me?
We'll take a walk down the road of my mind.
You can feel what I feel,
Would you be that kind?

I'll take you to a place, Where the beautiful lights dance to the beats of these stars,
And as the waves of love touch our skin,
We'll feel the water curing our scars.

And back our way home, we'll pluck a black rose,
We'll keep it close to our eyes,
As a way for us to remember one day we'll all become memories,
And even the beautiful dies!
Would you come with me?

Escaping the clasp of your hand
I slipped through the cracks
Watch me ignore you again
And I don't really know why

I stared into the Abyss and it stared back in through me.
We kept a gaze and exchanged some words.
We talked the whole night through, but then, as was to be,
the sun came to rise and the night sky vanished completely.

I was shunned by the people of my own time.
I painted them drawings that never saw their prime.
I wrote them writings and they said, "there is no rhyme!"
I solved their problems and they gave me a ten-cent dime.

All of this and i never got a price. I took a shot every single night
and told myself, "Oh what sorrow to think, maybe the abyss was right"

United We Stand
Upon this battlefield of the grand
Fighting for our own sense of justice
Our strength fueled by persistence
Our swords let out mighty roars
Together we dominate wars
Neither is wrong or right
But just a simple loyal knight
Showing our true selves with not a spoken language
But by our strength we use to vanquish
Our combined strength used to maul
But in the end, Divided We Fall.

A promise made,
a promise kept.
To say those words,
this is the first step.

A promise is as old as time,
made by who it was or is.
Whether they be young or old,
to be hers or his.

Keep this solemn oath,
you future generations.
Let your words be true,
and lay down the foundations.

winter won't last too long
till the snow melts and ice cracks
as the sun shines its warmth
and the trees bear leaves,
the flowers blooms once more,
and as the first birds return home
spring shall come quite soon
this cold will fade by its coming warmth
and as the season change so will you

The feeling of pain
The feeling of fear
The feeling of falling
And never reaching the end,
I'm still falling
I'm still here
I'm still alive
I have no fear..
I allow death to take my soul
In trauma of death isn't it all obvious....death
Isn't what I wanna fear....
I don't feel
I don't think
I don't know
When it will end
Still falling
Still fearing
Still crying
Because I never felt good enough for you
Enough to breath
Enough to live....
But
I'm still falling
And I don't know when I will hit the ground....

When the day is done
The horizon hides the sun
A starry night fills the sky
Look up to the heavens
In awe one may feel
The trillions of lights
Glitter down on Earth
Some may say they are ancestors
Others tell a representation of hope
But no matter the interpretation
They still strike imagination
Into everyone's hearts

The cold December breeze whisperers away
your name that keeps me half asleep
I long to be with you my rose sweet
Yet here I wait not knowing when
Shall fate brings me to your lips again
Just know only this among the many
That there is a heart that beats for you alone

Cheers to the youth whom are so merry, so glee,
They are at the gardens of the blessed saints,
Where they know not of the sorrow and painful fees,
That man has sinned like dark horrid disease.

Laughter and hymns have been offered,
Whilst men from the ***** think backwards,
I see no hate upon his grand rapture,
But the wolves will come to disrupt and fracture.

For we shall seek fit in the coming of the new Israel,
Opening the gates of Eden and welcomed by the angels,
Let us live like saints who left their earthly materials,
For the youthful children shall gather around the faithful.

As the youth ascends to the heavenly bodies above,
Away from the chaos and discord of the ***** below,
For he has Shepherd his flock out of pure love,
Let man see his faults before he is brought low.

She walks, covered in scars.
Forcing herself to never look back,
To never see the lives she took away.
To never see the once beautiful skies,
that was now littered in grey.
Her brooch, weighing her down,
The forest green eyes, she longs to see.
As time dances before her,
she stands, alone.
Quiet, and still.
Like that of a broken clock.

you are my stolen paradise
a radiant star that glows alight
A dream i never wanted to die
The flower that blooms in the night
My sanctuary that ended with a good bye

I hear a dark voice
Every time I remember
I feel it rejoice
My sanity it dismembers

Spinning and falling
Down a deep dark hole
A past sad and appalling
I hear the voice take control

I scream and shout
Weeps followed by wails
As melancholy breaks out
I try to stop it; to no avail

The voice coos
Filled with pity and gloom
I was a bird; used and abused
Shot down by my doom

Now I sit here a victim
Cold, lying in the silence
Insanity a symptom
Of my internal war of violence

Numb and dead on the inside
Crouched in fear
My heart races as I try to hide
Oh why can't I disappear?

As the dark voice takes form
I can only stand frozen
The man from whom I was born
A monster I know him

As the stars fade away,
Replaced by the light of day.
As the ocean covers our feet,
And the birds roam free.

I can hear my name,
Hear my name in the air,
I don’t know how it came
Don’t know from where.

I found where I am meant to be,
For your smile is all I see.
Here I am unable to let go of,
This pleasant feeling I call love.

Let us soar together endlessly,
Let us reach past our destiny,
Where our love will never die,
Just beyond the Vanilla Sky...

Acting like a clown, just to hear her laugh
The sound of it is melodic, but she pities him on his behalf
Still he tries, offering the thoughts on his mind
She smiles and thinks he's kind

Late at night they always talk
Early at dawn they always walk
Carrying her stuff is a burden he likes
Just so they can go on many more hikes

Holding the umbrella, so she doesn't get wet
In his heart, she'll never have to owe him a debt
On that morning, when the rain falls slow
Her beauty is stunning, and is reflected in the water below

What he doesn't realize, for love has made him blind
Is that her heart pays him no mind
Her head was in fact turned the other way
To gaze at someone else across the pathway
Her heart was for another, and it tore him in two
He thought that his love had been true

But love has made him blind, so he continues to be kind
If only to be close to her, he has made himself confined
Yet deep in his mind, he still does not care
Because when he sees her, no one else can compare.
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
If the world were a game of chess,
And I but a lowly pawn,
Such joy would become
Of the part of unknown

If each and every star
Formed a drawing each night
That no artist can ever conjure
As he draws up his canvas

If there be a world,
A magnificent one,
Where all the things come to align
All the hate I've come to love

If there be another you somewhere out there
Would you still like roses,
Or still love sweets,
And also me?

If there be truly another you, hopefully
In that other world, I would not make
The same mistake,
Of falling for my thoughts of you

For thou sweet a bird, to be locked in a cage
And I, your prisoner in an imprisoned mind
Will set you free
And kiss you one last time

I fell for the you, the one who has been
Instead of the you now, all so different
And cold, as I am, yet
If there be another world out there,

We both know, that what I truly wished for on a falling star,
Was for another chance

The latests seconds I'm living
In this pain, it's hurting me
Now I have to tell you, the story
That you and I lived and which one I'm leaving

Thank you, deep in mine
For the happiness you shared
For the hope you gave
I have to say goodbye

And I have the hope that you will
My friends, we know it
What life is going to happened
So many doors for you opened

The sunshine in my broken eyes
Will not be longer
Deep in my heart
I will disapear because it dies

My friends, my love, my heart
It plunged me into the hurt
My house, my life, my mind
I"m loosing all but not you behind
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
no words can express the agony
of your cruelest deception
all your words are mere fantasy
believing each passionate affection

you shattered what trust i gave
I fell for your lavish charm
blind senseless by a well-versed knave
voicelessly harmed under the storm

when will I ever learn?
that you were never mine
your tricks have lured me to burn
to squander in shame and decline

I'm not so naive to be played
I have seen strangers around you
I hear how you whisper those words
you have lusciously once said to me

Heaven forbid you make a fool
out of the one who loved you
yet you have torn it all apart
you forfeit all rights to my heart

I’m burning the memories
and those that might redeemed you
Don't step towards my direction
Your reasons and comforts are meaningless

I'm leave nothing more than this words
You can stand there if you want
Scream or be silent i couldn't careless
I have stayed longer than I should

Only she can make my lonely mad world feel right
So things maybe a bit peculiarly different tonight
We may go together in a vivid realm of cosmic flight
Filled with endless apologies of paradise trite
All this troubles seem so far, it feels like flying
within the universe but maybe I'm just slowly dying
You look quite divine among these vibrant lights
Your sweet honest lies is nothing more but pure delight
A blinding star that was meant to waltz and fall on sight
Marveling at your grace my once sweet darling sprite
It's now or never my joyful mirage in the edge of the moonlight
Now that I'm on the verge of waking at first break of daylight
Eternal through the past my sweet shining rose in the twilight
We never meant to part my dearest shimmering starlight
But every siren song ends with me missing you every night
Tranquil innocence's now tainted by bitter truth such blight
It's perfectly clear to stand here as you fade like candlelight
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
weathered faces and ragged men
sorrowful hurtful smiles we give them
such who wander the cold dark streets
hiding your pain tattered sheets

hoping for a soothing loving hand
to help you and understand
suffering within life's hard reality
suffering in a world of broken sanity

nameless stranger crushed so low
with eyes that watch the world grow old
perhaps someday you'll be healed
waking up in warm heavenly field

Memories are like pages.
Burnt pages are forgotten.
Be careful for which pages you burn.

Call my name oh freedom wind
I will strengthen my fight
Yes I hear you on the bend
And dream of you in the night.

Oh freedom wind I know, I know
Tug at my soul and pry at my heart
My desire for you does grow
With the dawn again I start.

And as you beckon unto me
I work at the very core
To answer the call to be free
And seek those who desire more.

So freedom wind send the test
Pry at my heart and tug at my soul
For it is in the valley of less
Where I will climb the mountain of more.
