love grows and gets lost as it goes
short is its bloom
crumbles as a withered rose
migayle ocuaman Dec 2020
You were never really mine yet
I wished and hope you were
I cared so much to pretend
That we were more than just this

I played along with this thought
That it coiled my mind and into madness
Thinking that I had a chance
To hold you more than anyone can

That you felt the same as I did
And I often forget as always
That we will just be this
And nothing more, nothing after
migayle ocuaman Dec 2020
it doesn’t have to be forever
for you to hold my hand
we don't have to be together
for us to know and understand
we don't have to say those words
a smile is all it takes
to make every moment feel so eternal
migayle ocuaman Dec 2020
underneath the pale moonlight
i can't help myself to stare than fall asleep
watching the stars twinkle so bright
where constellation play around in cosmic paradise
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
They charged into war
With power and grace
A breed of horses
Wrapped in lace
The men oh wonderful
But slayed so forceful
Oh dear my Lord, my Shepard
My fate
Many have fallen with terrible hate
The skies were grey
The Devil was paid
With the lives of the fallen
And the grace of hate
Oh such grief
It twas such grim
As death played its hymn
migayle ocuaman Jun 2019
i doubt if you were really ever here
i am lost in thought and still in this world
i question whether you could ever hear
for i wish you could speak even just one word

who am i to judge and who am i to ask
thrown into a world lost and starved
confused by needs and desires i mask
kindness of man at times swerved

i am but still a lowly sinful outcast
who has lost everything and have nothing left
bless not me but those who have passed
bless those that suffer in this earthly theft

show them the mercy where i had most doubt
for they are forgotten downtrodden and torn
aren't we all outcast once please don't cast us out
guide those who still question why they were born
migayle ocuaman Oct 2020
if i can write
and if i can read
if i can dream
as i breathe
maybe someday
but not this day
will the tide change
for you and me
migayle ocuaman May 2020
summer heat and fresh breeze
that comes once again to greet
wishing for the days of autumn leaves
where golden brown trinkets that slowly fall
as each leaf dies as autumn calls
it blooms once more like spring enthralls
migayle ocuaman Mar 2020
It stalked through the day,
And swept through the night,
By the ports and cargo bays,
To the hangars and flights.

Through the crowded streets,
It linger so long and so far,
It crept quietly by the guards,
That it toppled the kings cards.

It started with a small cough,
That soon ****** by the lot,
It took away young and old,
Into deaths gloomy fold.
migayle ocuaman May 2021
empty canvas that's all there is
none to write to paint or give
to a world that often looks
too far to see what beauty is
and what lies within
migayle ocuaman May 2021
Weathered faces left on walls,
portraits hung in empty halls,
nameless strangers that saw
with eyes that watched the world.
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
And so I watched the sky
where the sun shines
and the birds fly
with such grace and beauty

Flowers bloom
and wind rises
sweet, sweet smell
and flavour rises

its life that shines
brighter than anything
it was her eyes and smile
that burst with feelings

Love comes to me
and stays by my side
it was always her who showed me
what this poem was about
migayle ocuaman Jan 2021
oh sweet blossoming rose
innocent and blooming beauty
i sing to you verses of sweet nothings
for somehow you enchanted me

lure me to your temptation
only to be plucked away
and thrown aside to wither
like some blade of grass
migayle ocuaman Jun 2020
i fade like my name
in the eons of time
i am but dust to life
though i have lived
i know i am forgotten
by those who love me not
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
To honor thee my lofty king,
To ends I go till summer spring.
And kneel before this vow unbroken,
For long the days but whispered spoken.

As another dawn the sky fall clear,
Set loose, I shall, to death unfeared.
migayle ocuaman May 2020
Spin with me in the open gateway
In this blissful yet short paradise
Spin with me during our final play
For lovers in this world we realize
So spin with me while the world just fades away
Till we fade like dreams do as dawn arise
migayle ocuaman Dec 2019
Those leaves did grow
From branches overgrown
Drifting slowly down
Resting in the snow.

Like empty, fallen souls
Looking for a home.
Little soldier boy
Thought that he could soar.

Only to sadly fall
Such as ash in the snow
From warm flames to fragile, broken hearts
Now cold and all alone
With no place to go.
migayle ocuaman Nov 2020
many cannot remember that this fields use to hold
none can hear the million souls echo from beyond
that they who were brave and frighten shared terror unfold
migayle ocuaman Dec 2020
Though the fire’s gone cold
the stories we have told
will never grow old
migayle ocuaman May 2020
Escaping the clasp of your hand
I slipped through the cracks
Watch me ignore you again
And I don't really know why
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
will the world remember me when I fall
will they shed a mournful tear or stay silent
will my death and works mean nothing at all
is my life just one out of many in history's hall
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Dear Good Sir,

I have always voiced my thoughts and opinion
Receiving both regards to praise and criticism
Wearing my heart on my sleeve that's my conviction
Never have i deceived myself in such pragmatism
I was never bias in words I verse as I reflect
Yet you accuse me of such contempt and disrespect
Still I understand good man your grievances
But you are one in many I argued in disagreements
I had rather been quite divisive
Than to be leisurely indecisive
I can't apologize for even your legitimate allegation
I stand by my opinions even if it will mean the end our relation

Your humble colleague,
M. Ocuaman
migayle ocuaman Dec 2019
tired of all the needless beating
tearing out my heart out all in blue
you once said "I'll never let you go"
yet those words just slipped away
we both seem to hate the ending
but it seems we could actually breathe
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Fading leaves
Of autumn's bliss
Now enters spring
A new dyed wing
Colors of May
are light as day
Thinking of you
And what shall I do
Maybe it's time
To say goodbye
Or maybe it's time
To stay put for a while
Connected hearts
Doing their parts
Making leaving you
Painfully so hard
So as the wings of May
I'll be here to stay
Waiting for you to be
Till the answer comes to me
migayle ocuaman May 2021
among the world I have a name
that drifts among the unknown
what I do and what I've done
is weaved among my fellows
who are just like me, until death
we will remain nameless in history
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
You speak of these lofty dreams,
These wondrous tales of the explainable.
But do you truly believe they exist?
That they are within your arm's reach?

Close your eyes and paint them with your mind.
Every color and every detail as clear as day.
From rolling hills of grass to endless skies.
Every blade and every cloud outlined in gold.

Imagine the spectacular and indefinable,
The impossible and the unreachable,
And believe, dear child so small.
Believe you can reach out and take it.
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
We live in such a beautiful world and yet... we regret it.
We create our own little world to keep us hidden from reality.
Our own reality against the world's reality is very different.
We do this to hide the horrifying truth that this beautiful world of ours bear.
migayle ocuaman Aug 2019
for the valiant and those willing
the future shall hold our ideals
we few shall rise to its beckon call
we few shall fall but this vision
shall never die nor shall it be buried
migayle ocuaman Mar 2020
Singing to you from the blissful night before,
To places you've gone where I never could explore,
Whispering your name to the gentle breeze of eventide,
Cause I could never sleep right without by my side,

Hoping this telegram of my heart still reaches out,
From a distance like the stars, here I wait still devout,
If they call me insane hoping that you would respond,
Then I am a fool who honestly fell for you and beyond.
migayle ocuaman Nov 2019
your crimson lips against mine
I love the taste of your kiss
even though I'm just another fool
at least I get the benefit of the fun
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Despite your small willow frame,
You gracefully took each step,
As a mark of your humble pride,
Your sweet and gentle face held a smile,
That only heavens angels could dare mimic,
Your shimmering blue eyes glistened,
Like two shorelines meeting at the edge of a cliff,
Glimmering blues and teals,
Your Reddened cheeks and the hint of blush,
Yet that sad longing eyes gave away,
Like the winter bitter wind you long to be free of its cold.
migayle ocuaman May 2020
how can you give such a sweet smile
with such sorrowful and tired eyes
how do you walk in a cheery style
while hiding the truth among lies
migayle ocuaman May 2020
Remember when you loved me
under the wondrous infinite sky
I would have said goodbye
yet I held my words as I die
now come closer don't be shy
describe the skies to me
as often as you can see
lay your head upon my tomb
where my heart used to be
remember me as the flowers bloom
so as you leave you are now free
migayle ocuaman Mar 2020
The gentle moon shines its beams to you,
As the night sparkles, it compliments your hue,
Your eyes that wonder and shines like the cosmos,
If I had one wish to be true you're the one I want most,
Among the twilight angels you alone got me in a trance,
Each step you take looks like celestial phenomenal dance,
Your pristine subtle smile that every star glances and follows,
Oh lovely, if we do part awaiting for another long tomorrow,
I'll stay right here till then dreaming of you through sorrow.
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Under the blossoming tree
Lays her bed of stone,
Crafted by her alone,
Maiden now of bone,
Together for eternity,
Shall never be alone.
She lays with hair tangled,
While petals lie mangled.
She lays in a rest unknown,
With her warrior of stone,
Keeping her calm...
Like the roots of a great vine
In a loving embrace
migayle ocuaman Aug 2019
Here's to cheating, stealing and drinking.
For if you cheat, may you cheat death.
And if you steal, may you steal a maiden's heart,
and if you drink, MAY YOU DRINK WITH ME!
migayle ocuaman Mar 2020
your passion, rhythm and poetry
are my ecstasy, dreams and sin
all this between fantasy and reality

strangers in a midsummer dreams
lovers in a mix thrown in a spin
we know everything about this, or so it seems
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
It's growing like a cancer
corruption in the nation
we need a solution, an answer
to address this grave question

our soul and democracy
our leaders and their hypocrisy
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
What founded this nation wasn't the foreign immigrants
But the overseas workers who wish for better deliverance
Leaving the country in order to escape and survive
In return to rebuild the peoples name and its pride
Their ideas formed in the curiosity of the mind
Bringing such educated and civilize men who are refine
To whom our heroes have brought forth such ability
Feeling freedom in the breeze in the western vicinity
Such action and talks or not only to be whispered
for the youth to act and shout like a raging twister
printing the words of a voiceless ******* nation
Exposing the church and state without doubt or hesitation
pens and tongues are sharper than any sabers blade
our verse we preach putting light to your devious shade
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
I imagine the thoughts of death so much
It feels as though they were of a distant memory
Fiddling with my past glory leaving behind my legacy
Impulsively charging to the end upholding my chivalry
A visionary dying for a dream that was revolutionary
I was dying for greatness, dying to be part of history
Now that I lay dying I forgot how to truly live in own my stories
the sun has risen and cleared the mist morning has begun
flames upon candles flicker out and I too shall soon be gone
The world was my garden it was wide enough for me
I have sown the seeds of my limits and that of my victories
I have written songs to be sang to the nation I was born to revelry
Blood I have offered and shed yet never to hear such sweet symphonies
with a burning bleeding desire I threw myself pursuit
Laying a strong foundation enough to pass it on to you
Yet I was always occupied fearing the loss of time
I ask if I have I spent them well and wise, haven’t I?
I was too young and blind to see those I love had put aside
I would've known better than to think nothing of my honor and pride
Now I shall be buried deep in the past of yesteryear's antiquity
I see glimpses of my comrades waving and waiting on the other side
Calling me to join the tranquil paradise waiting to be reunified
I ask how to say good-bye take your time they calmly replied
We are all waiting no need to haste as they stand jovially reside
Memories of our youths that once chant and drank to good health and liberty
I raise my arms and cry out to freedoms grand infinity
I hear ringing of bells it golden melody melts
I am fated to fade away as snow is to spring
My time is up death is calling me to rise up to its cold embrace
Eager to guide and cross the line to which I am still anxiously afraid
Am I a hero or a villain? Am I a slave or a freeman?
Have I risen above as of both sinner and saint?
I am but a man filled with mistakes and talents to show
How will you remember me or would you forget me so
The seeds I planted I shall never see them blossom and grow
This shall be my testament my gravestone that I have sown
and to those who still breathe my name
keep that of my memory me embers a flame
I have fired my shot I have aimed it above the heavens high
its gunfire echoes loud so all may hear I have taken and did my time
I wish I could have done even more but I know you could do better
I leave this note to you in a world of grim call your courage in this letter
The world was my garden it is yours to keep and let it be known
That this world was wide enough for all to tend and own
migayle ocuaman Apr 2020
Silently I pray
To a God
That assures me
As he is Silent
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
I didn’t know what to do
So, I waited for you
While Everything Burns
I'll wait a life time for your return
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
From empty hand, we rise to meet,
Upon manless land for death to greet.
Soar to the height untilthe fall,
Mark the deeds of the valiant tall.
In end, its hand, reach to our grave,
Of those who'd come to seek the brave.
And stare the horror between the sorrow,
Grasp an idea of a better tomorrow.
migayle ocuaman May 2020
each sunrise has a melody
a song of light and color
in every season and weather

to those who wake to wait and watch
the daylight rise that chases the night
you will see art the of a new somber life
migayle ocuaman Sep 2019
when a perfect love comes
you came along somehow
yet you have to walk away
from something so strangely beautiful,
that was meant for each other
still it was never meant to be
though we would risk it all
but destiny decides our fate
but maybe not in this time
maybe in another lifetime
we'll be together and you'll be mine
migayle ocuaman Dec 2020
if i could hold and kiss you
even just once more in the night
before the light takes you away
from my dreams and from this life
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Here we are at last
The turning of the tides
Where are secrets are revealed
And put all our differences aside

We go up to the light
A sight for all to see
For we will be together
For all eternity

There was a time
Not so long ago
Where we decided,
To take things slow

A crossroads of time
A loss of trust
Leaving was a crime
And a act of lust

But now here,
In this light of day
Now we both know
And there no words we need to say
migayle ocuaman Sep 2019
instead of glass shards in my head it feels like powerful aching in my heart.
my only problem is that I can't do it myself, I lack the guts and the selfishness.
it pains me everyday to wake and walk but as well as painful to tear you apart.
migayle ocuaman Sep 2019
When you are born, you are destined to die.
The earth you came from, you will forever lie.
But in your life, you'll have a chance for life.
Not life, for it's claimed by the reaper's scythe.
But in courage, left for us to behold.
Not in blood, and not in gold.
To preserve life is the ultimate reward.
For life is something nobody can afford.
migayle ocuaman Sep 2019
Cheers to the youth whom are so merry, so glee,
They are at the gardens of the blessed saints,
Where they know not of the sorrow and painful fees,
That man has sinned like dark horrid disease.

Laughter and hymns have been offered,
Whilst men from the ***** think backwards,
I see no hate upon his grand rapture,
But the wolves will come to disrupt and fracture.

For we shall seek fit in the coming of the new Israel,
Opening the gates of Eden and welcomed by the angels,
Let us live like saints who left their earthly materials,
For the youthful children shall gather around the faithful.

As the youth ascends to the heavenly bodies above,
Away from the chaos and discord of the ***** below,
For he has Shepherd his flock out of pure love,
Let man see his faults before he is brought low.
