Fresh scent of pure air
sweet spring wind swirl
as to you my lady fair
natures spirits bloom unfurl
migayle ocuaman May 2020
My soul has been torn from me as though I am but dreaming,
My heart now spent in this worldly rent and I am now grieving,
All the beauty that was around me fades as I sigh my last sigh,
For now as I breathe my last breath I am slowly dying.

Last night I dreamt and heard of my dearest companions, Cheery faces that once brighten the room, as I awoke I lay alone,
I pondered for days gone by when we were all but young and bold,
But I know that soon I must die the last of whom had survived.

As morning did rise crimson edge that broke the night sky,
The cold did lift from and the winds, as they did sigh,
I rose to take a breath, not knowing it was my last,
From the light that greeted me now fades and it did come,
Now I am done and have been greeted with eternal rest.

Leave the field and leave the fire
And find the flame of your desire
sing your dream to me once more
migayle ocuaman May 2020
Remember when you loved me
under the wondrous infinite sky
I would have said goodbye
yet I held my words as I die
now come closer don't be shy
describe the skies to me
as often as you can see
lay your head upon my tomb
where my heart used to be
remember me as the flowers bloom
so as you leave you are now free

Tell me how mad men sleep and dream,
Yet with tired eyes and trembling scream.

as the dawn breaks the dusk
and clears the mist down bellow
as the sun rises, its warm rays touches
the cold shadows of the night fades
bright is the day that rouses me
a warm glint greets my wake
the valley now alive once again

To tie a noose around your fragile neck

To die with your last thoughts and breath

Think not of it as merely a rope on a dead mans neck

But a necklace of hope to which he finally knew rest

faith alone has brought me here
to stand firm and be with you
no matter the harsh torrents
that come roaring aloud
no matter the hurricanes
that come like an endless tide
i shall standfast ever true
for faith alone has brought me back
enough to still stand with you

for a world that's bright and new
shall never see the world we view

Please let me know if you want me to stick and linger around,
Don't be sorry, if you know that I'm lonely contraband.

your passion, rhythm and poetry
are my ecstasy, dreams and sin
all this between fantasy and reality

strangers in a midsummer dreams
lovers in a mix thrown in a spin
we know everything about this, or so it seems

Cheers to the youth whom are so merry, so glee,
They are at the gardens of the blessed saints,
Where they know not of the sorrow and painful fees,
That man has sinned like dark horrid disease.

Laughter and hymns have been offered,
Whilst men from the ***** think backwards,
I see no hate upon his grand rapture,
But the wolves will come to disrupt and fracture.

For we shall seek fit in the coming of the new Israel,
Opening the gates of Eden and welcomed by the angels,
Let us live like saints who left their earthly materials,
For the youthful children shall gather around the faithful.

As the youth ascends to the heavenly bodies above,
Away from the chaos and discord of the ***** below,
For he has Shepherd his flock out of pure love,
Let man see his faults before he is brought low.

The gentle moon shines its beams to you,
As the night sparkles, it compliments your hue,
Your eyes that wonder and shines like the cosmos,
If I had one wish to be true you're the one I want most,
Among the twilight angels you alone got me in a trance,
Each step you take looks like celestial phenomenal dance,
Your pristine subtle smile that every star glances and follows,
Oh lovely, if we do part awaiting for another long tomorrow,
I'll stay right here till then dreaming of you through sorrow.

Singing to you from the blissful night before,
To places you've gone where I never could explore,
Whispering your name to the gentle breeze of eventide,
Cause I could never sleep right without by my side,

Hoping this telegram of my heart still reaches out,
From a distance like the stars, here I wait still devout,
If they call me insane hoping that you would respond,
Then I am a fool who honestly fell for you and beyond.

How music flows throughout the warm zealous air,
Well delivered for every ear,
How grand, how optimistic it spreads for all to hear,
It gives us hope so non shall fall nor fear,

It is the art that all men wish to follow the melody they seek,
It blends all emotions of man too its greatest peak,
All the pain and joy in a harmonious union of peace,
Creating a portrait that fades as it folds to the perfect piece,

It stalked through the day,
And swept through the night,
By the ports and cargo bays,
To the hangars and flights.

Through the crowded streets,
It linger so long and so far,
It crept quietly by the guards,
That it toppled the kings cards.

It started with a small cough,
That soon ****** by the lot,
It took away young and old,
Into deaths gloomy fold.

There was once a little bat,
Shes name was enza,
We open up the windows,
And now in flew enza.

Caught by farmers, this little bat,
Poor enza tried to avoid,
In the caves of china, she was at.

She was but another meal,
Ones that locals always enjoyed,
But she was a plague, a devils reel.

Every war is different yet every war is the same,
Men are pawns whose lives are but just a game,
To seek glory and honour amidst the slaughter,
Here the rich profits behind such safe walls,
Hearing the of cruel echoes of this laughter,
Joined by the field of battle to which dreamers now fall,
Such is the faith of those who march with pride and shame,
To those who have fallen by such carnage and unjust death,
I raise a toast to you and a voice for the silent may you rest in eternity.

i am but like the stories of fiction
but you believe me to be real
i am but a shadow in the dark
yet you see me as though i was there
i am only a fleeting dream soon to pass
yet you cling to it as a memory not to forgo
soon you will forget like a child's thought
still you talk as though time hasn't touch it so

Every word I say is nothing more but kindling
Yet this voice cracks and cough as I speak
So here might be my own last reflection
To all I treat as one of my own siblings
An elegy to my curses out to finally rest
And of fallen mercy no longer lingering

Such youthful beauty that lies awake
In smiles that hide such a frail pale heart
Grows a shadow around a glowing radiant face
Weary gentle golden eyes knows no escape

Many questions have been eagerly ask
Yet answers come so slow to even pass
Misty country fields and wondrous night sky
As crackling ember ashes scattering light

Oh my tender kind simple fellows
Such hearts are glaze and mellow
Moonbeams rays touches the darken house
Serene and silent as a church mouse

Painted portraits with palettes of black and blue
Starry is the nights that only few have viewed
To stay awake with life so endlessly grey
Knowing well the world is a chaotic fray

Dreamers tear their mournful souls away
Lover’s passions fades like summers day
Swirling winds flow through the grassy plains
Twinkling stars that kisses my sorrowful pain

Here's to cheating, stealing and drinking.
For if you cheat, may you cheat death.
And if you steal, may you steal a maiden's heart,
and if you drink, MAY YOU DRINK WITH ME!

Our dreams
Beautiful one time
A pure hell the next
Never knowing what to expect
You head in and lay your head
Is your heart filled with unshed tears?
Or with silent laughter?
Our minds decide our fates
When, for only a minute, mind and body are apart
So, what about you?
Do mares plague you
Or are you surrounded by smiles?
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
this men who are myopic in vision,
narrow minded in their thoughts,
have begun to make incisions for division
who with greed for power still plots,

they who are full of spite,
they who abuse such prosperity,
to scorn at our tranquility in the night,
using their given rank as authority,

those who corrupt and continue to corrupt,
censuring the emotions of the people,
Our true feelings shall bound to erupt.

hearts they have afflicted and subjugated,
have now planted the seeds of discord,
from these seed shall grow a twisted tree,
it shall bear poisoned fruit and rotten in scent,
they shall reap from it a death of a future generation,
and that field shall be the ruin of the nation.

When days feel down and unforgiven
When night falls you are my only escape
I've been waiting for a chance of heaven
Come morning light you'll be my mistake

Something I wanted to genuinely feel
You're more than just a moment of fun
You gave me something surreal yet so real
You're my one dream and not anyone

A sweet soul that dreams alone lingers awake
A sweet white rose a glowing angel in the dark
When you lay alone I feel a painful heavy ache
My fallen earthly angel my own shooting star

Under the blossoming tree
Lays her bed of stone,
Crafted by her alone,
Maiden now of bone,
Together for eternity,
Shall never be alone.
She lays with hair tangled,
While petals lie mangled.
She lays in a rest unknown,
With her warrior of stone,
Keeping her calm...
Like the roots of a great vine
In a loving embrace

tributes mean nothing to the dead

Wait for me,
and I'll come back!
Wait with all you've got!
Wait, be patient and I shall return to your loving arms embrace
Wait, be patient till I may kiss your warm lips again,
wait, be patient no goodbyes and farewell tears,
Wait, for I have kept you close and your love protects,
Wait, until i sing to you once again my love,
Wait for me as I kiss your hand before I go,
Wait, until then remember our fondest memory.

Wait when cheerless yellow rain whispers that you need not.
wait as the leaves fall and flower withers,
wait even as the sky darkens and the moon changes,
wait as the dawn breaks the cold night sky,
Wait when the snow swirls fast, and the bitter freeze loses your warmth,
wait when the sun blazes hot,
wait even if the seasons change and I am not there,
wait for me though you cannot hear my voice,
wait even if we are miles apart in distant lands,
In foreign frontiers and unknown fronts,
wait for me and so we may dance again,
wait when long days are past and others have forgot.

Wait when from the distant place, word does not arrive.
Wait, when all those you face know I'm not alive.
Wait for me, and I'll come back!
Wait for me, don't fret!
When they tell you there's no doubt that it's time to forget,
Be strong have fate for I shall be back,
Wait and keep me in your thoughts for you are on mine,
Even when those dearest to me tell you I am gone and past.
As your eyes swell to tears from their words,
Even if it shatter your heart to doubt if I am still alive,
Even when my nearest give up, claiming it's been too long.
Even if they honor my name and what little I left behind,
Let's raise a glass of bitter sweet wine, to the friend who's passed into glory -  But wait!

Don't share that drink! Wait until the last!
Wait for me and I'll come back, Cheating every fate,
Deciding when to live and past,
Enduring the odds and evading deaths grasp.
Through the anguish and slaughter of the field,
Though my body suffers and tires my soul cries to survive,
For you are waiting for me to come back,
Broken and scarred I shall return to you,
Wait until i can hold your soft soothing hands once more.
They who had lost hope shall be in shock,
"A nice stroke of luck!" they'll say,
those that could not wait.

Only they will never know how amid the strife,
Amid those who now lay in anguish lost and scattered,
by waiting for me, my dear,
and you saved my life,
You have brought peace to my soul.
But the two of us will know,
How you got me home.
Only you knew how to wait,
it was you alone.

What founded this nation wasn't the foreign immigrants
But the overseas workers who wish for better deliverance
Leaving the country in order to escape and survive
In return to rebuild the peoples name and its pride
Their ideas formed in the curiosity of the mind
Bringing such educated and civilize men who are refine
To whom our heroes have brought forth such ability
Feeling freedom in the breeze in the western vicinity
Such action and talks or not only to be whispered
for the youth to act and shout like a raging twister
printing the words of a voiceless ******* nation
Exposing the church and state without doubt or hesitation
pens and tongues are sharper than any sabers blade
our verse we preach putting light to your devious shade

The sky is so light,
it shows it's might,
with unique space,
and heaven's grace,

Can you feel this feeling?
do you think we're dreaming?
with the shinning stars nearby,
come watch asteroids pass by,

I can stare at it forever,
I hope it lasts forever,
It's worth the endeavor,
it's full of wonder,

Reach out your hands,
reach out your hearts,
come with me and dart,
come with me and start,

Look at that planet there,
look at that lovely star glare,
it's something magnificent,
it's something pleasant,

The universe is something grand,
It's full of mysteries and unknown,
it's beautiful and painful to see,
Beneath the Starry Skies.

you are so much more,
you are beauty,

Dear Good Sir,

I have always voiced my thoughts and opinion
Receiving both regards to praise and criticism
Wearing my heart on my sleeve that's my conviction
Never have i deceived myself in such pragmatism
I was never bias in words I verse as I reflect
Yet you accuse me of such contempt and disrespect
Still I understand good man your grievances
But you are one in many I argued in disagreements
I had rather been quite divisive
Than to be leisurely indecisive
I can't apologize for even your legitimate allegation
I stand by my opinions even if it will mean the end our relation

Your humble colleague,
M. Ocuaman

What he was fighting for,
But the sight of blood
Made him question war.
Poor soldier boy
Cold and alone,
Bombs fall like rain,
He's all alone.
They're all alone.

Where honor lies
Where duty dies
How too shall your morality cry?
What is essential?
What makes you decide who matters?
To give life to one and deny it to another is more than a choice.
It's a burden.
It is not the path you choose.
That life is forsaken
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
I was taught to obey
The god I am to worship
To the tones of the hymn I sway
To spread lies on my kinship

I devoted my life
And became His messenger
Cared little of the strife
Of families and their avengers

Women and children died
To spread a religion
Their bodies beaten and tied
To beat them into a descision

I was His
As was everything
In this world I used to remiss
Quite a merry thing

I should be an example
Of ideas and beliefs
They should not trample
I should help in times of grief

Yet I cause them
As they spread far and wide
Infidels we called them
Because they ran away to hide

Yet He always beckons
And I come to his aid
I have killed thousand; I reckon
To their graves they were laid

I feel as if I must break free
Before the final nail on my coffin
To run away and flee
Before I corrupt more of my offspring
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
corruption is an old song we've been singing in harmony
a cancer that grows steadily for the last couple of century
politicians play around making a foolery of democracy
every proclamation and deliberation left a print of legacy
to which our people live in division and poverty
amendments and changes are need to solve this hypocrisy
the young sacrifice themselves for liberty and equality
lets not fallout of virtue and devoid ourselves of honesty
When we challenge those who abuse their duties and authority
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
I hear a dark voice
Every time I remember
I feel it rejoice
My sanity it dismembers

Spinning and falling
Down a deep dark hole
A past sad and appalling
I hear the voice take control

I scream and shout
Weeps followed by wails
As melancholy breaks out
I try to stop it; to no avail

The voice coos
Filled with pity and gloom
I was a bird; used and abused
Shot down by my doom

Now I sit here a victim
Cold, lying in the silence
Insanity a symptom
Of my internal war of violence

Numb and dead on the inside
Crouched in fear
My heart races as I try to hide
Oh why can't I disappear?

As the dark voice takes form
I can only stand frozen
The man from whom I was born
A monster I know him
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
The days pass quickly
The looming nights veil the world in mystery
The moon reveals nothing but a glimmer
Of what is to happen and makes the mind ponder
What is there to wonder and where shall people wander?
Be it alone or together, the night skies slowly turn
The horizon aglow with creeping orange light
Through the Days that shall never be forgotten
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Goodbye for now my little rose,
For here I sleep and never oppose.
Your radiant smile and cheery cheek,
That melt my heart and coldly meek.
Yet days alone were not enough,
For simple wish be here and gruff.
And here I lay upon my tomb,
To never see my lovely bloom.
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
I was broken long before;
the time we met and cast aside...
My cords entwined, like a puppet;
wearing masks of ivory silk...

Broken and tarnished to the core;
hearing white noises cascade...
The paint is cracking - parapets
are running up the wall - my deluded ilk!

would I see the safe haven and its shore;
before I'm drowned... do I see the change of tide?
Would you harbor this monster - even as a pet;
or be rebuked and revolted like on vinegar milk...

I was the broken dream of "Perhaps" and "Maybe", sure;
something in between slender-man and kagemusha on a joyride...
Would you unlock this conundrum and my time set;
or break the cogwheels and bury your sword to the hilt?

Welcome to the City of Wind
Welcome to the Sea of Grass
Welcome to the Fields of Wheat
Welcome to the heart of our own

A new generation from an older set in stone
We grind our wheat
We burn the chaff
We bake our bread
We set our clocks for the next season

It would be a lie if I told you it was easy
But here we are and here we'll stay
Day after day
Hour by hour
The paths we tread mark your road

It's bliss the way we run
Forthright and true as the birds of the air
We beasts of the earth
Not for burden but abundance
Freedom found in the rows we sow

So welcome now to the town we love
To the roads we know
To hearth of our home
Your welcome to a seat at out table
To the bread that we break

So please come stay a while

Welcome to Indie Rose
