Words that hurt,
Words that torture.
Cuts through like a blade,
Makes self-confidence shorter.

Words that bring pain,
Words that make flow.
The endless tears,
That cannot show.

Words that burn,
Words that ache.
You can’t let hurt show,
Make it look fake.

Words that are kind,
Words that reassure.
Be a friend,
Be bullying’s cure.
I wrote this because bullying is a big issue that even if we tackle many people, not just children, are still facing this problem.

It tastes like something,
You’ve never experienced.
Its name is poutine.
I personally enjoy eating poutine, and wrote many other poems about that topic. This one is a Haiku.

Society is cruel,
Society is mean.
Why do popular kids rule,
After all, you’ve already seen.

All the children they bullied,
All the tears they made flow.
All the critics they took heed,
That they won’t let go.

Don’t tell them to take the “L”,
It’s not polite to do so.
Instead, make them well.
And be their rainbow.
Instead of criticizing, help them get better.
